Such a lovely team who go well above and beyond. Excellent service and supportive. I have long term mental health issues and managing my finances is massively impacted by this. The team help if something happens or goes wrong. You will not find this at any high street banks or building societies. I would recommend DCU to everyone and anyone.

Ive been with DCU since the branch 1st opened . Never had any problems applying for loans or getting advice on financial matters.
Even when your struggling they will offer you alternatives to make things abit easier

Applied for a loan around 7 weeks ago now if not longer. That long ago that I even forgot about my application. I’ve since then had an email on the 1st of August asking to provide a bank statement. This was done straight away, I received an automated email a few minutes later saying that they had received this and I would have a decision within 48 hours. Well it’s now been another 9 days since then with no decision. I’ve even email them with no response either. Honestly if your willing to wait then you may have a positive outcome but as my title says am not holding my breath. This is a crazy amount of time to process an application with still NO decision. Am unsure what’s even going on at this point but it doesn’t look very positive. I’ve had loans before with NE credit union and from applying to receiving my funds it was less than a week. I would maybe try these instead. By looking at the reviews it looks like a lot of people have had the same issues.

Have been on hold for 2 hours today. Baring in mind they are only open for a pathetic, 3, per day but only on Mondays Wednesdays and Fridays. So they work only 9 hours a week.
I was hung up on trying to call the first time without even speaking to anyone.
Second time someone answered and got half way through saying the bank name before putting me back on hold, which I was already 50 minutes deep during that call alone of waiting to talk to someone. Then the line was just cut off after a further 15minutes.
Called a 3rd time and waited 20minutes but because so much time had passed, it was past 12 o'clock in which I think they were aiming to blank and ghost calls for as their daily duty until they don't have to answer anymore. So I had to shoot the an email to request I same day transfer because it you don't it takes anywhere from 1-3 business days to make one.
This bank is broke. Its gone so severely down hill and they are now jusy disrespefting their loyal customers.

Hashtag is #wecanhelp and want reviews . So hear is mine . #noyoucant Put your money in a savings account elsewhere and get interest . Loan rate and customer service better at high st bank . So it’s a no no for DCU

These are wonderful , friendly, helpful people. They have helped me with a membership, a loan and a savings account. They have helped me clear my debt off and now I can start to save for a brighter future. So much better than a bank and a good experience.
