He was knowledgeable and friendly and I didn't feel like I was being 'taken for a ride'. He really knew his stuff!
The written report that followed had everything we needed to sort out issues. Definitely worth it.
Would highly recommend this company 😊

Scott provided a very thorough survey and a professional 'brief' report with accompanying photos. I have a much clearer understanding of damp in my property - especially the role played by the roof space and cavity walls - and what action is needed to reduce make my house drier and healthier.

Jonathan Young attended and carried out a level 1 survey. Excellent services, very informative, explained everything, had time for all our questions, never felt like he was rushing through. Suggested several solutions to our damp problems, explained in detail the issues. Thoroughly recommend

Really happy with the advice given from Jamie. He really knows what he is talking about, totally impartial and answers all your questions with good recommendations to rectify the issues with damp that our property suffers with. So now I have a report to show builders what needs fixing and not just throwing money at the wrong things all the time. Would definitely recommend.

Denise and David were very thorough in their survey and gave great recommendations. They really explained everything to us and we feel reassured and more confident about how to fix the issues going forward. Highly recommend.

With his knowledge and expertise Jamie provides an excellent service. It is so reassuring to know exactly why there is a damp problem and what needs to be done. I thoroughly recommend them.

Jonathan Young, our surveyor was really professional and explained the problems he found very clearly. We were very pleased with the survey and Jonathan told us how to remedy our situation without involving us in unnecessary expense. We would definitely recommend Damp Detectives.

Nigel, did an amazing job of resolving the Mould issue within the loft of our Property, as well as being extremely thorough and professional, I would definitely recommend him to anyone.

Many thanks to Damp Detectives in particular Jonathan Young. After a visit from him yesterday we are feeling a great deal better about our house that we moved into only 4 months ago.
He has a wealth of knowledge and experience relating to damp & mould issues, which is complimented by his architectural knowledge. We feel very reassured as to the way forward and confident we can resolve all of the issues we have identified. I would absolutely recommend Jonathan Young and the Damp Detective company.

Jamie made a very thorough and in depth survey and was very knowledgable about causes of damp and possible solutions I could use. I was very impressed with the way the survey was carried out and also the usefulness of the finished report. Would recommend.,

Paul was very helpful and honest, would 100% recommend

Scott was really thorough and gave us very detailed information about sources of damp as well as advice on how to remedy it. We had previously received conflicting info from a separate ‘free’ report which was just trying to sell stuff, so definitely worth having an independent report like this for reliable guidance.

They were quick to respond to my initial enquiry, then carried out the survey really promptly, then explained the issues on the phone which was really useful, ahead of receiving the report.
The report has recommendations for builders to fix the issues which is useful too, to ensure the correct repairs are done.

Tim promptly answered my enquiry and scheduled a date for the survey. He took time to explain verbally what he had found as he was conducting the survey - gave actions that he recommended be undertaken and followed up with a report

Derek Carmichael was easy to communicate with, came on schedule, assessed our damp problem and supplied a detailed and useful report within a week.

Jonathan at Damp Detectives was thorough and personable. We’ve had damp issues for a while, and he explained them in easy-to-understand terminology, and suggested valuable remedial action. I have no hesitation in recommending.

Thank goodness for Damp Detectives!

Hurrah, an independent set of specialists who aren't trying to sell you a solution and therefore you get an honest opinion.

Scott was super. He was extremely responsive initially and in the weeks following the survey. He was willing to talk on the phone as well as exchange emails in response to any queries I had.
Scott carried out a thorough investigation during his visit and then was able to relay the issues causing my damp in easy to understand language! He was a real pleasure and clearly very knowledgeable in his field.

I couldn't recommend these guys highly enough.
