I have waited a couple of weeks after collecting my BMW 5 series touring to reflect on my experience with Dace German Car Centre.
I made an appointment with Will to visit and view the car, on my arrival I was met by a gentleman whom I presumed was Will but wasn't, he informed me that he had just "brought the car round in case I wanted to take the car today" which was surprising. Then Steve came over and introduced himself as the one who will be looking after me which, was another surprise. No mention of Will at all.
On taking a look tab the car, the upholstery was really dirty but, I was hopeful that after a valet it would be fine and so I went along with the purchase.
I had to wait 2 weeks for the car as there was a backlog of work etc which didn't bother me as I would rather wait and have a decent job done.
On collection day I actually met Will for the first time. I had to wait for over 1 hour due to the car not being quite ready but again it's worth waiting for, no explanation was given why I didn't meet him in the first instance.
I was happy with the handover at the time and I completed the satisfaction questionnaire which reflected this.
I am really happy with the car, its everything I was hoping for but the interior valeting could have been better hence 4 stars.

Our salesman will was very knowledgeable and really helpful,there were a few things needed doing to the car which he agreed to do with no quibble.

Bought car almost 4 weeks ago from Dace German Motorsport, 309 Manchester Road, Heaton Chapel, Stockport, SK4 5EA, and was promised a new front windscreen seal. Callum assured me this had been sent to my home address. Each time I call callum is 'with a customer'. Tried emailing, webchat and WhatsApp with no response. Informed car came with a 3 month warranty. Not worth the paper it's written on as when the warranty firm was called, they had no record of my car? Car has other issues that I was unaware of at the point of sale. I will update my review upon a full car health check from mini specialist and I have let Dace know that the car will be returned to them over the weekend if it's found to have expensive faults....

Car looked good on the advert, dropped an email to reserve, late in evening.
Following morning got a phone call from Callum, took some details and £100 and they reserved the car.
Asked if I could come at weekend, as it was New Years Eve, they said no problem.
Given changing weather, phoned up day before and asked if I could come that day, told no problem, come over when you're free.
Arrived on site, good welcome. Callum wasnt available so Steve looked after me.
Car was opened up and started, and I was given the keys to have a look round before a test drive. Was given plenty of unpressurised time to decide if I wanted to have a run out.
Car was clean and tidy, literally spotless. Plenty of time for me to test and press buttons. After 10 minutes asked if I wanted a test run, which I did.
No pressure on the run, had the chance to ask questions, which were answered well.
Got back and decided to proceed, no pressure on warranty upsell at all, although I was given the book and decided to take 12 months anyway.
Had asked up front whether I could pay over multiple cards and was told no problem. True to their word, all done.
I found the buying experience easy from start to finish. Steve was great in going through the details of the purchase and the specs of the car.
I paid the full purchase price for the car, no haggling, just paid what it was clearly worth.
You'll no doubt be looking at this review and determining whether to part with your hard earned cash as opposed to another dealer. Like me, you'll probably look at the odd one star review and gulp. But look past that, if you have reasonable expectations you'll probably be able to read between the lines and consider that other people may not.
Based on my experience today, I would have no hesitation in recommending this particular branch of Dace.
