Currys - Merry Hill Retail Park Arvostelua 

We had a care and repair policy with Currys which we had for 7 years. The TV broke and I called them on the Saturday, they collected it on Tuesday and we were advised that it was being written off on the following Wednesday. I was told how much the write off refund would be which I was not satisfied with and a customer complaint was raised straight away. I then received a call 2 days later to advise the refund would be the amount that we had initially paid for the TV as there was not an appropriate replacement. I received the refund the following Monday and we were able to visit the local store and purchase a replacement TV, really good service!

Zain the salesman was brilliant talked me thru various laptops that we wete interested. The pros and cons of each device. Genuinely appreciated his time as we were able to make an informed decision.

When I brought my TV the man was very friendly and explained the different types that come with soundbars etc, then when I had an issue with the TV Kevin on customer service was absolutely amazing he organised the replacement and was so accommodating.

Asked if they did Blue Light discount & assistant was very helpful in showing me how to sort it

Purchased a gas cooker when we eventually got a member of staff to serve us. Paid for the installation service. Time slot agreed, a 4 hour window. Between 12.20 and 16.20. plenty of reminders to say it was on its way. No sign , tracked on system , we were 5th of 6 drops. Phoned supposed help desk. Yes its on its way!! Tracked it again at 18.30 and the van was close to Walsall some way away from us! Tried tracking again at 7pm and my order was no longer on the system!!We received no updates no messages what so ever. Wasted half a day of my life. Went up to Currys at Merry Hill next morning to find that the delivery date had been changed to 4 days ahead. No acknowledgement what so ever. Cancelled order and received a full refund. Ordered from AO.com. delivered, fitted brilliant service. Still heard nothing from Currys.

I put 4 star as the girl who finally sorted my purchase out in merry hill stayed over to sort me out as the other sales members were not interested in my purchase I originally went in to purchase a new iMac but after watching the 4 sales staff leaning on a counter playing on their phones I walked out and went for a look elsewhere. I went back as Harvey Norman staff were worse. As I sat only the girl who sorted my sale saved the deal as the others lacked knowledge of the product as I told him more than he knew and lacked sales ability to sell the item as well as add ons or financial options. Young kids seem to lack interest and knowledge. Service was poor from them as was knowledge and communication

Two Delightful and friendly Delivery drivers arrived at the requested time slot. Took my old appliance away as arranged.

I spent £2000 on a new TV in store and not only did the staff member bounce the TV into the boot of the car like it was worth nothing but when i got home i quickly realised that it wasn't even new.
The three plastic wraps that hold the box together were replaced with tape and the packaging inside was crumpled along with other obvious signs of use.

On a separate occasion (online order):
I ordered three hard drives (fragile HDDs not SSDs) and they were delivered in only a plastic bag. Plastic bag for packaging + terrible DPD delivery = damaged order.

I went in specifically for an electric cooker and was approached by a very friendly assistant who went through all the details clearly and I was able to make my selection quite quickly
Also the finance was explained clearly so overall a very positive experience
