Currys - Glasgow Braehead Arvostelua 

Visited the store to purchase a PC. Great choice of all- in- one PC s. Young sales person had very good knowledge of the products and there was no rush to purchase. Store is well run with plenty of staff to help. Would recommend Curry's in Braehead for all types of appliance- the stock of goods is amazing. All in a great shopping experience

Delivery guys Johnny and Ryan called ahead, arrived on time, installed the appliance and were very courteous and helpful.

Very disappointed with Currys – still waiting for £349 refund

I am extremely disappointed with my experience with Currys Braehead.

I went into the store to purchase two televisions. The sales adviser told me that the TVs were not in stock and would need to be ordered online. I was told that my cash could not be used for the purchase and that I would have to buy Currys gift cards with my cash in order to complete the transaction. I followed the advice of the Currys employee and paid cash for the gift cards.

The TVs were supposed to be delivered two days later, but they never arrived and were returned to the Currys warehouse.

I went back to the Braehead store on 9 September to get my money refunded. I was told the refund would go back onto the gift card. I have received the refund for one TV, but I am still waiting for £349 for the second TV.

It is now 7 October.

I have been back to the store three times, spending around an hour each time trying to get this resolved. I have also spent hours on Currys online chat. Every time I am told that the refund will take another 3–5 days, but this never happens.

Because the original TVs never arrived, I had already arranged a fitter and had to purchase two replacement TVs from the store, causing me even more inconvenience.

I have limited English and have had to take a friend with me on three occasions to help me communicate with staff. This whole experience has been extremely stressful and upsetting. I feel that I have been passed from person to person and that nobody is taking responsibility for returning my money.

What I find particularly frustrating is that the original purchase was made through the Braehead store and it was a Currys employee who instructed me to purchase the gift cards with my cash in the first place. Yet the store has been unable to resolve the refund.

I am still waiting for my £349 and I simply want Currys to take responsibility and return my money.

I hope someone from Currys management sees this review and finally resolves the matter.

Great. No problems at all. Delivery team friendly and most helpful.

Generally I was happy with the service apart from the length of time to delivery.
I specifically purchased from Curry’s as the website stated. Next day delivery if purchased by 1900. I competed my purchase with an assistant in store at 1700 and initially next day delivery was an option. Unfortunately when finalised this was no longer available for 2nd Oct and I had to wait until 4thOct

We had a dilemma about which products to buy and Toni stepped in and sorted our problem with care and patience. Five star performance from a very bright and helpful assistant a credit to your store.

The assistant that helped me (Zahra(?)) was really helpful and polite.

The guys that delivered my machine were equally polite, friendly and helpful, and also organised another team to come out to change the plug as there wasn't enough room to feed it through the the hole at the back of the cupboard.

Those guys were also very friendly and helpful.

My 43yr old machine was taken away :*( Sad days, but had served me well!

All in all, staff, and delivery service was 5*

Staff at Braehead were very helpful

I am a relic and walked in looking to get a new tablet with cash. The young staff member could not have been more helpful and went out of his way (and all round the shop, lol) to get me to a till that took cash after offering a choice of 2 good deals on my new tablet. Thank you very much, hope that staff like you are appreciated!

We bought a fridge freezer that was on display which was in very good condition with no marks or dents when it arrived to be delivered to me it two dents on the freezer door and a chip on one off the fridge doors if it had been looking like that we would never have bought it very disappointed with all this as we put in a impossible position as we taken the old one out so we no where to put a lot of food so we had to accept it the damage

Easy process. Nobody at click and collect station when I arrived but once I’d pressed call button a staff member arrived.

Perfect online setup, but the customer service staff at Braehead was terrible. The Currys representative was clearly irritated before I even spoke to him. What should have been a simple collection turned into a headache. I won't be returning.

EDIT: Always the same type of comment added, but nothing ever changes.

Everything from the sales girl being so helpful in getting the right machine for me to the quick delivery and the lovely guys who installed my washer dryer was first class.

Bought two items from the business section. Once home I realised I had been overcharged for one and I returned to sort it out. Met with a blank refusal to help “Got to deal with Curry’s Business”, “That’s a separate company” “ I don’t have access” etc. Completely unhelpful. Had to come back next day for a resolution.

No hassle whatsoever, picked the washing machine we wanted, got a sales assistant immediately, delivery and installation organised, delivered and installed 2 days later, fantastic service
