Really poor service. Workers sitting on their stools, can’t be bothered to offer any help at all. Can’t understand why the management would allow such disregard for customers. Managers you actually need to get on the shop floor and see how your staff behave and the quality of the service. Never witnessed such disregard for paying customers. Dire! Avoid!

Wanted a laptop for daily personal use, I easily found one I liked and it arrived in a couple of days. Laptop was just as described, easy to set up and perfect for what I want.

Losing trust in Currys and their in-store promotions.
I purchased an Epson ET-0287 printer from Currys for £179.99 on 12 April 2025, partly on the basis of the advertised £50 cashback offer. txn 2318004202504120039336 branch 2318 CROYDON

I followed the required process. I registered the printer and submitted my cashback claim the same day at 21:10, receiving Epson reference SHbDKfdhpt. Having done everything required of me, I reasonably expected Epson to honour the promotion, so I thought nothing more of it.

More recently, while going through my receipts, I realised that the £50 cashback had apparently never been paid.

I contacted Epson to ask them to investigate, under case reference GB-264838402. Instead of simply establishing what happened to a claim that Epson's own reference shows was submitted, I have found the response disappointingly unhelpful, with responsibility seemingly being pushed elsewhere and no satisfactory explanation for why the payment was not made.

That really isn't good enough.

Customers shouldn't have to remember to audit a major company's promotional payments months later to check whether the company has actually honoured them. I submitted the claim correctly and on time. If Epson rejected it, I would like evidence of when and why it was rejected. If it was approved, I would like to know why it wasn't paid. If there was an administrative or payment failure, I would simply like Epson or Currys (how ran the promotion) to put it right and pay the £50 owed.

What should have been a positive promotion has instead seriously undermined my confidence in Epson.

I am therefore asking Epson to review the original claim properly, explain clearly what happened, and honour the £50 cashback if, as my records indicate, I complied with the promotional requirements.

I would also encourage Epson to consider the wider issue. If a customer successfully registers for a cashback promotion but payment subsequently fails, shouldn't Epson have a process for identifying and resolving that failure rather than relying on the customer eventually noticing?

I hope Epson will now take ownership of this, resolve it fairly and restore some confidence in the brand.

Curry's staff were attentive and knowledgeable. The store was busy but the advisor's were really supportive; giving me alternative ideas as the item I wanted was not in stock.

Great customer service from staff especially Beverly. Bought all that we needed.

It would have been 5 stars except there wasn’t home delivery or a closer pick up point and having to drive 8 miles around London wasn’t pleasant. It took 45 minutes so I won’t be doing that again!

We bought a cooker which was delivered with no problem but needed to be changed for a different one in a different color, this was done and when it was delivered they damaged our laminate floor ,no problem they said and took photos we will report it when we get back and someone will be in contact this hasn't happened so now we are trying to deal with currys direct

I finally got an answer from customer service only once I came to trust pilot. After explaining that I’ve had no help after going to my local Croydon branch back and fourth promised update from Bav the customer service man I’ve waited a month now and still waiting for at least a update. Curry’s finally answered via trust pilot I was ask 2 weeks ago to send all relevant details of my purchase and I will be contacted shortly… I’m still waiting I’ve been left no answer not even a no we not helping just left with a faulty oven.. I had enough returned the faulty oven to the store give it back I’m now had to go to Argos and by a new one. I been eating takeaways for 6 weeks now. I’m so out of pocket. I’m canceling my creations account that was going to used at Christmas. I am now using curry’s as a show room go veiw the items then purchase else where where I get support if needed. Never again will I use these retailers, just cause they got the monopoly on us public there starndard is terrible, on my weekly disability meeting all yhe parents have the same opinion. I’m shocked by there services.
Again been contacted by curry’s soon as I post compliment,it’s been weeks from the trust pilot curry’s team and nearly two months from the store I’m still waiting do they think I’m going stare lol. N, I buy a new oven and move on… Tracy, Ben and Bav in store customer service promise but do not deliver, it’s been so long without an oven i hope they are eating well. Not to me reply in two moths it’s a joke

I had an amazing experience at Curry's on Purley Way, all thanks to Miguel! He was super friendly and really took the time to help us out, showing a lot of patience while answering all our questions. It was actually my mum's birthday, and to top it all off, we received an extra discount on our purchase. It made the day even more special, and I can't thank Miguel enough for his fantastic service!

Both the store assistant and the delivery crew gave first rate, friendly service.
