I would like to commend Mark Hooper of Curo's Independent Living Services for his outstanding support for my sister, first enabling her to live happily in her own home and then helping her to move to more suitable housing. He greatly eased her life, advocating on her behalf, helping with decisions large and small, guiding her or doing research on her behalf. From a more practical point of view he helped her with shopping, assembly of furniture, and everything that was needed to make life work well. Most importantly he was a magic combination of an effective help, and an always friendly face. She loved her visits from him, looking forward to them beforehand, and loved that he helped with such smiley kindness. Most of all she liked the "cup of tea and a chat" part of the visit. He was ever respectful of her autonomy, and keen that she should be happy and have all that she needed to retain her independence. Both for her and her wider family, Mark was outstandingly helpful.

I am writing to formally commend the outstanding service provided by Claude, a plumber with Curo, who recently attended a repair at my property.

I believe it is important to highlight excellence when it occurs, as the dedication of frontline staff often goes unrecognised. Claude originally visited my home to repair a leaking kitchen tap that I had reported. However, since the initial report, two additional taps had begun to drip all the time.

Upon informing Claude of the new issues, he professionally explained that the standard procedure is to only address the specific faults allocated to the scheduled time slot. Despite these constraints, Claude went above and beyond his primary remit. He took the additional time to replace four valves across my remaining taps to ensure that all leaks were fully resolved before he left.

His technical proficiency, combined with a proactive "can-do" attitude, saved me the inconvenience of scheduling further appointments and reflected very highly on Curo’s service standards.

Please ensure that this feedback is shared with Claude and his line manager. I strongly feel that his commitment to high-quality workmanship and customer satisfaction deserves formal recognition and appropriate reward.

We recently completed a three-way mutual exchange with Curo, and I honestly can’t thank Sarah (and Michelle) enough for their support throughout the whole process. My boiler had a problem during a routine check and Phill the Curo Engineer spent hours fixing it making sure I wasn't without heating. He's a real asset to the Curo team. He was very focused and worked hard to fix the problem.

Danny Nieves did an amazing job and worked very hard repairing my bathroom ceiling. He went above and beyond in making sure the clean up afterwards was done up to high expectations and standards .

I am currently dealing with a serious mold issue in my home and needed the problem resolved as quickly as possible. From the very beginning, George was understanding, proactive, and genuinely committed to helping me. He went above and beyond to ensure my concerns were treated with urgency and professionalism.

Thanks to his efficiency and dedication, he was able to secure me an appointment the very same day. His attitude throughout the process was exceptional — calm, reassuring, and highly professional. He made a stressful situation much easier to handle, and I truly felt that he cared about getting the issue resolved for me as quickly as possible.

Mark and Andy from the Roofing team came to clean the gutters above my window at Meadow Court, Bath. With the leaves in winter and heavy rain, thick moss falling from the roof and more heavy rain!!!...the gutters kept overflowing down the wall It was a Chinese torture of water pouring onto the water butt below...very bad for the building and very unpleasant for me! Thanks to Andy Hall, Manager, for sending... and Mark and Andy for their good work in sorting the problem.

Had a lovely guy called Phillip, on time, efficient, respectful of my property and kept me updated through out the whole check. Polite and friendly. All round a great experience.

I’m extremely disappointed with Curo. We’ve been left without heating for a full week, even in freezing temperatures and my pregnant wife has had to endure this with no urgency shown by Curo at all. Despite calling almost every day and requesting multiple visits, we’ve just been passed around with no resolution and no accountability. I will be escalating the matter to the Housing Ombudsman and the local press. Leaving a pregnant woman without heating in winter is unacceptable and people should know how poorly this has been handled.

We recently purchased our new-build two-bedroom home through shared ownership with Curo, Keyford Meadows site, Frome, Somerset and the entire experience has been fantastic from start to finish.

The whole process ran smoothly, with clear communication throughout and helpful step-by-step guidance at every stage. We were given excellent recommendations for financial advisers and solicitors, which we chose to use and found incredibly helpful. A special thank you to Krystal and Jess, who were both so friendly, supportive, and always quick to answer our questions — nothing ever felt like too much trouble. Their professionalism and kindness made what could have been a stressful process feel genuinely positive and straightforward.

Our new home is absolutely gorgeous — brand new, beautifully finished, and a true blank canvas for us to make our own. It’s also very reassuring to know that Curo will be on hand during the first year for any snagging issues, alongside the added peace of mind of a 10-year NHBC structural warranty.

We couldn’t be happier with our experience and would definitely recommend Curo to anyone considering purchasing a new-build home.

I would like to shout out David Smith. He has done all my fencing out the back and I am very please with it. He was easy to talk to and very happy to help.

During the Christmas period Claude came out to fix our window and a vent in the attic. He is always so thorough and goes above and beyond. When realising the kitchen door was broke he also did that which he didn’t need to! We are always very relieved when we know Claude is fixing anything as he does such a great job every time. Well done 👏🏼
