Signing up to CreditLadder is simple and only takes a few minutes. Register your details and once completed, connect your bank account to provide CreditLadder with read only access. You keep paying your rent as you do today - CreditLadder does not collect your rent.
Each month CreditLadder will match the rent payments you have made to your landlord or letting agent through the secure bank connection you’ve created. This information is then shared with Experian, Equifax, TransUnion and Crediva and will appear on the respective statutory reports.
CreditLadder has been reporting rent payments since 2016, is regulated by the FCA, and has reported over £1bn in rent payments.
CreditLadder has also been recognised for its work by the Government, when HM Treasury announced it was the biggest winner of their Rent Recognition Challenge competition.

A great tool to be part of, fantstic idea! I use it to demonstrate eligibility for a mortgage, as I'm a long-time private renter and its absolutely brilliant that tools like this exist now (if it had been available when I was first renting, I'd be on the property ladder by now).

Brilliant company - CreditLadder always manage to track my rent, unlike other rent tracking agencies who seem to have issues with the most basic product features.

Seamless experience
I’ve been customer of credit ladder from the very first day of arriving to the UK and renting my first apartments here.
It’s been 4 years now and since I bought a house the credit ladder service is no longer needed.
At the same time interactions with credit ladder are seamless, they notify when bank needs to be reconnected and so on.
My credit rating, I believe mostly based on credit ladder reports and it still allowed me to get a nice mortgage rate.
