This dress is for my 87 year old mom. It was a little long, but otherwise fit her well. She deserves to look beautiful at my niece's wedding in October
This company is running a scam. I ordered a backup wedding dress with rush delivery requested. The company waited a day, then asked me to confirm my order before they would pack it up and ship it...at this point, there was no way it would make it on time. I asked to cancel, and at that point they said their cancellation fee applied because I hadn't canceled within 4 hours of placing the order. So essentially they forced a situation where I couldn't get my order timely, and kept a good portion of an expensive item. I'm an attorney and will be pursuing legal action. Don't buy from this company, but if you have and got scammed, please consider doing the same, and reporting this scam to the district attorney's office, since it's both a civil and criminal violation.

It was unlike the photo so I returned it for a so called store credit. Still my money right?
I then ordered another dress which arrived and is too small, it cannot close. I called to ask for an exchange for a larger size and was told since I used my store credit it is not returnable for any reason.

Buyer beware! In a world where we order a lot of online clothing and need a chance to try it on and return it if we don’t like it, this company is not the one you want to do business with. If you don’t like what you picked out for whatever reason, and there isn’t something else you would like you are out of luck. They have a NO refund policy. You can only get store credit. You may pay a shipping fee too and if you don’t pay attention to the date, you have a short time frame to even get a store credit without losing 20% of what you paid. Their terms are on the website for sure. It’s up to us as consumers to read them. Sadly, this company has not moved into a position to match the market for clothing orders online. All other companies I’ve ordered from have much more flexible policies and I’m happy to do business with them in the future. That’s not the case with this company. I won’t be buying anything from them. I do not recommend buying from them until they update their return policy to match the shopping market that we are buying in today.
Their policies are designed so they make money from every transaction. Purchased a dress because they say they have a return/exchange policy. It is really a store credit only. Somehow they manage to ship so that you receive your item on a Thursday with a 5 day return policy with penalties. I purchased a second item and had to sign a final sale waiver. The dress came in and looked nothing like the picture, and they gaslight you by saying you signed the final sale policy waiver and there is nothing they will do. When I reviewed them on their website, they reminded me for the 10th time that I signed a final sale waiver, and would I please change my rating. I have a dress I cannot wear. I would be concerned if any positive review was really legit.
If I could give zero stars I would! This company is a complete rip off. I ordered a dress and returned 6 days after trying on with the tags! Because you have only 5 days to return, I was charged a 20% ‘late fee’. They DO NOT offer a full refund! Your refund is in a credit for the store. If you want a monetary refund, you get another 25% deducted for a restocking fee! This is the WORST return/refund policy I have ever had in my life and I order a lot online. Buyer BEWARE! I took the 45% loss just so I would not have to deal with them. Complete NIGHTMARE. RUN! Do not order from them EVER!
This dress was so beautiful! The material is great. It’s amazing. The delivery was quick and I was able to track it the entire time. They gave me an estimated delivery time frame and it was on point! I’m very satisfied with my purchase! It’s a beautiful dress!
I purchased a dress from this place and I tried it on and it did not fit. When I went to return which even the process you have to find an email to speak to someone, they said their return policy is Cleary stated and that I cannot return. I expressed it did not fit so it was a waste and the dress wouldn't even be used, it was 125.00. They said it was in their terms and conditions which is basically fine print. They misrepresented their return policy and it seriously is a scam. Who doesn't take returns nowadays where everything is bought online ?! I will never purchase there again. If you buy pls be aware you will not be able to return and if you do its only a 5 day window in which they don't pay for shipping and they charge you a restocking fee. It is such a scam

i agree with the complaints regarding their customer service, they are basically like sleezy sales people, they were so nice when i was trying to buy the dress, responding to my every question, and when the dress finally came and it had an issue with horrible shedding, the same lady i spoke too (by the way her name changes all the time, but i can recognize her voice) , became nasty, cold and distant. Basically tried to cut me off when i tried to explain the issue to her. I have videos and photos of the shedding on the dress and she said they designer will not take it back, how is that my fault, even with the proof, , stay away from this company, lesson learned!
Once you click “buy” you become the enemy. Treating customers poorly because it is your policy doesn’t make it okay, it just means the risk is too great for them to ever order from you again. Thankfully we were able to order a dress from another company (in the same size) that wasn’t ill fitting like the Couture Candy one. I recommend you avoid them entirely, but if you do buy from them, do it months in advance of your event and remember that the clock is ticking to make any returns or exchanges.
This company engage in deceptive practices. I ordered my daughter prom dress and received a text and email on April 15th that my daughter’s dress was delivered, but it was not. The email stated to contact them if it was not received in 24-48 hours. When I contacted them on April 18th, they said it was shipped. It was only shipped after I contacted them. The dress would not arrive before prom. I told them and told them I needed to cancel the order and they told me to refuse the package. I was not home when it arrived. I took the dress to the UPS store to return it to them but it was only delivered to my house again. I did a claim with PayPal because of their lack of response. On May 3rd, they told me some one would contact me regard a RAM so I could return and I still have not heard anything. This has been the worst experience.

Awful experience that is still ongoing. I ordered on April 14th. My event is on May 10. My dress was shown as delivered in Las Vegas and I live in Canada. I've emailed the company at least 20 times and each response says they are reaching to their shipping department. The provide a phone number that does not work. After weeks of follow up nothing has been resolved. They won't provide a refund and just keep saying they might. I'll never use them again.

awful experience, probably one of my top ten worst e-commerce experiences. know this what ever you money send them - you will never get back. at best if you jump through all the hoops and follow every rule you will receive store credit that is good for 6 months. it is so ridiculous that I wasn’t even aware a store could act like this. I don’t care what the emergency or how great the need - avoid stores with this sort of predatory policy. This may be a perfectly fine brick & mortar store - and I get the issues of people trying to return one occasion dresses - but they are basically just as unscrupulous towards their honest customers.
I ordered a dress for my daughter's wedding. It took forever to even get a confirmation email that I had ordered it. I was afraid I'd ordered from a scam site. Eventually, I did get an email. Waited 2 weeks to get dress. I immediately knew it wasn't going to work & sent email for Return Authorization. They emailed me back saying it would take 72 hours for someone to send me the Authorization. I got it the next day but wasn't looking for it & didn't see it until 3rd day. You only have 5 days from the time they send you RA to send it back. I had to go to UPS; you can not use the U.S. Postal service. I had to take pictures of dress with tags on it, front & back, take pictures of box with UPS label on it, send picture of tracking, insure the dress & have someone sign for it when it was returned. This cost me $42!!! Now I get an email saying they received it but someone has to give it a thorough inspection to make sure it wasn't worn. I had it on for 2 minutes. Email says if it's in unworn condition, I will get a store credit. I just emailed them back saying I want a refund. Return policy says nothing about store credit instead of refund on a regular full priced dress. It's not a prom, wedding or quinceanera gown. It's just a plain gown. I'm praying a get a refund. I don't need a gown. I bought gown for wedding elsewhere. I would not order from them. Its extremely stressful!
