Corgi Arvostelua 

I had several diecast aviation models that over the years had sustained minor damage. I really wanted to get them back to their original condition, but was missing several parts from some of the models. I contacted Corgi regards the availability of the parts I required and they confirmed they had stock of most parts. They asked for my address and a contact number to process my request. 2 days later they emailed me to let me know they had packaged everything I required and had dispatched them to me. Upon asking for details on how to pay for them they replied with "Please accept them as a gesture of good will for purchasing our products." Truly remarkable service from very friendly and helpful people, and to not want anything for doing this for me is unheard of these days. Well done Corgi, keep up the excellent work.

Impossible to unsubscribe from constant emails.

This company is worst company to contact and get response from, after buy Thunderbird model and a part was missing,they are refusing to supply the missing part or return the model for a refund, discussing actions from a so called house hold name, will not be buying from them again.

Preciso proprio perché ho letto recensioni che riguardano altre aziende di gas o pezzi di ricambio che non c'entrano niente. anzi sarebbe da richiedere la rimozione a chi le ha scritte senza controllare.

With Corgi home plan and had second service, communication was great engineers pleasant and informative. Definitely recommend them

For a diecast company which used to have a high quality standard and a soild reputation...I'm quite disappointed they've gone down hill like most once loved toy/model brands...the quality of their re-released models is pretty sloppy/slack and lazy forgive me for saying but the worst thing which could of redeemed some of these quality issues would be to have spares and a repair shop of sorts etc but no nothing and only spares for very specific models which is not a lot...Corgi should be making spares for most models not a few!...as a fan of the Corgi Delorean BTTF model..it really frustrates me that Corgi do virtually no spares for this model..in an age of 3d printing and the like yet these big companies can offer no alternative to produce spare parts for our models regardless of their age..absolutely disappointing! (for saying this is the future I'm not impressed) to leave your customers with broken products that we can't restore or fix to completion..I really expected better of a brand that was born from Great Britain knowing the principles we were once known for in terms of high standard.

(Edit) 08/07/2025 I did follow up Corgi's email and went back and forth with quite a few different suggestions regarding spares/reproductions etc and in the end the best they could do was sending an up to date release of the model new (free) but sadly and predictably was poorly assembled/poor quality proving the point of this review/feedback...so nothing was actually solved really sad to say.

I’d recently submitted a review of 5 stars but only to support the fact that they were getting some negative reviews by people thinking they were the corgi gas service.
This review is in relation to corgi the diecast collectable company itself though.
I made my first purchase recently and to be fair had a good deal via a discount promotion.
I purchased the 3 special edition thunderbirds sets.
Unfortunately all were bundled together, held by a sheet of bubble wrap, this placed in a box too big allowing the above to get tossed around. Given it was delivered by DPD it’s lucky that the package wasn’t crushed via its hollow areas.
Luckily only a few minor indentations and marks were made to the boxes but disappointed given their special edition status.
Something else to consider before purchasing: the packaging tape has some small print on it stating that if the tape is broken, contents should be inspected before the carrier leaves basically.
Very unlikely you’d read this until after you’ve taken it in and the carrier has left; and very doubtful the carrier would wait either.
In most circumstances most retailers are happy to be notified after you’ve opened the box regardless if box looked tampered with.
I raised all the above via email to corgi on the 26/03/25 to raise awareness, not even asking for a replacement but not had any response as yet.
The actual models though were great to be fair.

They must get a bonus for stealing money and leaving pensioners in the cold been trying for a week just to organise an engineer to come to my grandpas house and they give you all the promises just for it to be ignored
Don’t waste your money with their cover it’s an absolute disgrace

Once I put the phone down from their service team immediately I received a call from their engineer who came to my house in under 2 hours. The engineer was very professional and he identified the fault and repaired it in a very short time.

Still not had any idea when the engineer will arrive. I am classed as vulnerable waiting over 24hours still unable to find a engineer the operator margaret stated a fed up customer

They need to change the wording on their emails.

Ordered something a few days ago, got an email saying the item would be 'delivered' on the 4th (today). so, naturally, i took that to mean i would receive the item today, it doesnt, it just means they sent it. apparently i'm getting it tomorrow. The word you're looking for Corgi is despatched, not delivered....

Not only is this company still selling a faulty product they now completely ignore your emails.they continuously lied and given false information assuring me that all four replacements were tested before dispatch. The last one which gave the impression it had been tested I believe was a returned model. The transit strapping had been removed. If it had been tested they would had or should had replaced those. Now they completely ignore my emails this included mr John Humphrey’s. Obviously customer care is of no interest to him. Trading standards have now been involved. This product should be removed.
I have noticed reviews are now blocked on their website yet leave a question is still possible. Alot of the positive reviews are extremely suspect. I know of people with identical issues.
My advise. Keep away from this appalling company.

Very poor customer service, I placed an order over a week a go, I sent an email to ask about the status of my order waited well over the 3 working day time, I received no response, I called customer service they told me that it would be sent out the same day, 5 days later I have still yet received the item or tracking information.
