Best new legal scam
We legally bought the picture they are accusing us of infringing but we have to show proof while they cannot give us any. The customer they are using is no longer doing business as that name. They misrepresent, lie harass, threat. They mentioned in their email that they sent a copy (again no proof) to the local authorities so I also reported them to the same. Pure automated bot scam.

Unprofessional and terrible company
I received an awful, absolute scare tactic email stating we'd used an image on our website since 2017, an image we'd acquired from Shutterstock in 2012. After doing some research about Copytrack or whatever name they are going under, I pushed back and asked for proof of ownership of the image, who their legal representative was as I knew they were a Tech company and not a Law company which appears to look like they are on their email signature. They provided 'proof' so I checked the image on Shutterstock and totally different owner to what they claimed. They emailed me every other day demanding I pay 350 USD so I pushed back again and asked how they came to that calculation.. no response to that, no response to who their legal team were.. such a waste of time but of course worrying as I was struggling to remember how I got the license.. I messaged Shutterstock who were amazing help saying I couldn't find the license for the image purchased 14 years ago and they provided the license to me within 10 mins.. incredible service.. I sent to them and then received another more aggressive email (clearly automated) so I sent again.. it wasn't until I sent the third time they acknowledged their was no copyright infringement. The rudest and most unprofessional business I have ever dealt with.. absolute unnecessary stress..
This company has harassed me repeatedly…
This company has harassed me repeatedly despite providing proof that I have a license to use the images on my site. They are a scam who is in cahoots with another "company" in France.
Scam artists
Scam artists - My first email from them about a book cover, for a book reviewed on my blog nearly 10 years ago. Use of book covers as part of a review would be deemed fair use in such cases but they are asking me to explain the use of the image to them? Yeah no thanks. (without any evidence they own the image of course) I'm just going to ingore them.
Avoid Copytrack at all costs.
Avoid Copytrack at all costs.
I was contacted out of the blue with a demand for hundreds of euros over an alleged image use. The emails were clearly designed to pressure and intimidate — deadlines, escalating costs, and repeated references to legal action.
The “evidence” provided was, in my view, weak and largely self-generated. There was no clear, independent verification of ownership and no transparent breakdown to justify the inflated amount being demanded. Just a push to pay quickly.
After checking the image myself, it turned out to be a widely distributed stock photo available across multiple platforms, with typical licence costs nowhere near what they were claiming. Yet the demand bundled in vague “compensation” and “investigation costs” to inflate the figure dramatically.
This feels like a volume-driven approach: send aggressive claims, rely on pressure, and hope people don’t question it.
If you receive one of these emails:
- Don’t panic
- Don’t rush to pay
- Ask for proper evidence
- Do your own checks
In my experience, the process lacks transparency and feels disproportionate to the issue being raised.
Proceed with caution.
Scam Warning
This company’s approach feels like copyright extortion disguised as a business model.
I received a threatening email accusing a website of unauthorized image use and demanding money almost immediately. The entire message was clearly designed to pressure, intimidate, and scare the recipient into paying fast.
It included:
legal threats
urgent deadlines
inflated payment demands
pressure to buy a “retroactive license”
warnings about lawyers and extra costs
Even worse, the email looked sloppy and suspicious, with inconsistent pricing, vague evidence, and a generic, mass-produced tone. It reads less like a legitimate rights-resolution process and more like a bulk scare campaign targeting small website owners and businesses.
If your claim is legitimate, provide proper proof and handle it professionally — not with fear tactics and payment pressure.
My advice to anyone receiving one of these emails:
Do not panic. Do not pay immediately. Verify everything independently and get legal advice before responding.
Extremely questionable and deeply unprofessional.
Copytrack is a company that practices extortion.
Same situation as many others who posted here. Somehow Copytrack had my Google review moved to a latitude and longitude of 0. So I'm reposting here and a few other sites. Long live the truth!

Copytrack are lowlifes
Like many others, l am receiving threatening emails for payment for using an image that l haven’t even used! Both them and Concept-Production, the company they collude with are disgusting.🤮 and wrong. Clearly just money scammers!
Automated character assassination and accusations
This company relies on automated bots to crawl the internet for stock photos and sends out blanket emails that automatically assume you are a thief. They shift the entire burden of proof onto the user, forcing me to waste valuable time digging up legitimate purchase receipts for images I legally licensed. To make matters worse, this automated harassment is recurring; as soon as you resolve one claim, you receive another baseless email for a different image. The burden should be on Copytrack to prove that a license does not exist before they hurl accusations at legitimate web developers and businesses. Since I never asked to be targeted by their automated dragnet, they should be the ones compensating me for the time I am forced to spend resolving their careless mistakes.
False compensation claim request for use of an image
I received a compensation claim request from CopyTrack on behalf of their client Concept-Production, alleging ownership and copyright of an image. In reality, this image is freely available from WallpaperAccess.com – Logistics Wallpapers / Top Free Logistics Backgrounds.
I have already removed the image from my website and replaced it with a properly licensed Shutterstock photo. I am also preparing a counterclaim against both CopyTrack and Concept-Production for issuing false and misleading demands.
This practice is deceptive and exploitative. CopyTrack and Concept-Production should not be allowed to operate in this way, and I strongly caution others to avoid engaging with them.
Awful phishing threatening company
An awful, dishonest company. They emailed my small business, threatening me with fines if I did not pay money for an image. I checked and I had paid for it through an honest company. They would not go away, kept emailing, chaising and threatening me. I ended up sending them a screen shot of my image, they still emailed wanting more images, It almost seemed like they wanted my license to use the image them self somewhere. I'm sure there is a scam behind the scam. They are still emailing me, demanding money. Oh and the image they were calling about was royalty free on a website I pay for, so the actual image in question was free anyway. Be careful, do not pay them.

SCAM

Scamming for payments by scaring people
Scamming for payments by scaring people, these guys pretend they're representing the owners of copyrighted images and insist on being paid licence fees plus fines for past use, unless proof of a valid licence is provided for an online image. The supposed ownership claims don't stack up. The experience of others suggests ignoring or blocking these scammers is appropriate and safe. If you don't want to do that, insist that they send you proof of ownership (they'll probably send something, it'll be fake). Then show them the licence you have which proves the ownership does not vest in whoever they said it did. Tell them everyone knows they are scammers, then block them.
Poorly Verified Copyright Allegations
Our organisation was contacted by Copytrack regarding alleged image misuse. On review, the claims were incorrect, as the image was properly licensed and supported by clear documentation.
The process felt poorly targeted and resulted in unnecessary time being spent addressing unfounded allegations.
It would be more appropriate for any such claims to be properly verified and evidenced before being raised with businesses.
They are clearly scammers and should not be allowed to act as they do.
THEY ARE INDIAN SCAMMER !

COPYTRATotalni naciągacze – uważajcie!CK to firma
