Avoid at all costs

I was unknowingly signed up with Complex Law to deal with my mis sold car finance after completing an online eligibility checker, despite already being represented by another firm. After becoming aware and asking them to stop working on my behalf they are trying to charge me excessive cancellation fees. After reading reviews it seems this is a common occurence for this firm - do not trust them!

Thank you for your feedback, and we're sorry to hear you're unhappy with how your claim has been handled.

We want to be transparent about how our fees work. When a client signs up with us, they have a 14-day cooling-off period during which they can cancel without any charge. Our terms, including the cancellation fee, are set out clearly before an agreement is signed, and a fee only applies if a client cancels after that cooling-off period has ended, to cover the work already carried out on their claim.

You mention in your review that you completed our eligibility checker while already represented by another firm. Our sign-up process asks whether a client already has representation, precisely so we can avoid duplicate claims. If this isn't selected you can not proceed with your sign up, which you have done here.

Have been sending me emails for awhile…

Have been sending me emails for awhile I now they want £216 for cancellation. I had a duplicate claim which the FCA have already said cancellation fees should not be due tried to contact them to discuss it but never had anything judging by the reviews on here. I think this outfit mate find itself and bother anyway.
