I have no memory of asking these people to act on my behalf for anything. I understand now that if I cancel 3 different claims, all of which I was unaware of, I am liable for £180 per case. If I stay with them, having been told on the phone that there would be no fees if no win, I now realise that I will be liable for 'expenses'. There is no knowing what these may be. I feel threatened and coerced and believe this company is there to extort money from people by getting them to sign up to things unwittingly. I am disgusted that a law firm could be so unscrupulous.

my husband received emails from a car finance company saying they had been approached by Complex Law, which was quite puzzling as we appointed a different claims company a long time prior to this. We sent an email to Complex law stating they had not been authorised by him, that they ignored. Other Finance companies then got in touch to say Complex Law were representing him. The email stating they were not authorised by him was sent again each time. Each time they ignored it. We recently got emails stating that no compensation can be paid unless one company stops their claim. Complex law were again mailed, this time stating we had no dealings with them, and that the Law Society would be receiving a complaint. Surprise, this got a response! They then sent a document that my husband supposedly signed. Whether this was signed on paper or electronically, they did not say, they also sent a huge contract that he has never seen before. The signature looks hand written - it's definitely NOT a stock electronic signature - but is definitely NOT his. He has a very distinctive signature, and the one he supposedly "Signed" is completely different. This has now been sent to the Solicitors Regulation Authority, and he will also be talking to the Police, as this seems to be a blatant attempt at fradulently signing people up, with forged signatures, so that they can charge "cancellation fees. it seems that due to their muscling in on the claim, no compensation will be paid, as the companies will not pay out unless only 1 company is acting on claims, and from what I have previously read, Complex Law will not remove their claims unless we pay them cancellation fees, which is not going to happen. I will pass their details to the legitimate company that is acting on my husband's behalf, and they can chase Complex law for the fees they lose out on
