ColourFence Garden Fencing Arvostelua 

Had a large fence installed. When the wind blew it kept leaning. The installer came back 3 times still not fixed. The installer has retired and colourfence tell me that the fence is guaranteed for 25 years but the installation is guaranteed for 2 years. I am left to sort out the sub standard install by myself. Not happy. Colourfence tell me its not their problem and i should take the installer to small claims court. Not what i paid £10k for.

Had our fencing done today. Very, very pleased, we love it! Rich from the Newport office, initially rang to say my original delivery date, would have to be delayed, as the shipment would be arriving a few days later than scheduled. I rang him, a couple of days after the scheduled date, to chase it up and within minutes he rang back and told me he had a team coming the following day! and the materials were already on their way to me, such great customer service! He couldn't get local lads, so we had 2 lovely lads from the Gloucester team, Craig and Tylor. As soon as they arrived, they got stuck in, they didn't stop all day. Lovely friendly lads, hardworking, efficient. Cleaned up after themselves. Had everything under control. I just want to say it's been a pleasure from start to finish, and my garden has had a total transformation, brilliant!!

Recently had a metal gate installed. First class service. Installer kept me in touch with every step, accepting my input and was very cheerful and tidy. Recommended.

So we had Colourfence visit in order to quote. Was at least one hour late for the appointment. The guy made some effort by visiting a troublesome neighbour who bizarrely took pleasure in placing gate and a dog hatch when it was a shared fence in a row of terrace houses plus moving across A boundary line to accommodate garden furniture. A metal fence seemed like a good solution. Was told a quote would be sent in a day or two but nothing happened other than a promise. Was also told that the firm only employs people directly and is moving away from a franchise model. I pointed out that some negative reviews. So I check with Companies House. 2023 had two employees, 2024 had one. The accounts looked quite meagre for a national firm with a USP. Three weeks later, despite several promises we had not received a quote / quotes. A negative experience overall.

We had a Colourfence installed by Gardens Made Easy, Cornwall.
The Director, Olly Daglish was more than helpful in communications from start to finish ( from before Christmas 2024 to installation March 2025).

I rang the company saying that one of the fence panels had moved and needed to be made secure. I rang then last April and was told it would be sorted the following month. Having phoned the company on many occasions since they have still not appeared to fix the problem. Clearly a crap company to deal with. Great product but rubbish at aftercare.

Fence fitted today, so hardworking, friendly guys. Really pleased with how much they did in one day and so pleased with our new fence. No more worries about the wind taking our old fence away and no more painting. Highly recommend.

This appalling company "guarantees" its product to be resistant to wind speeds of up to 125 mph. My fence blew out in a 60 mph wind and I have contacted the company for assistance under its guarantee which appears not to exist. They do not even bother to reply to e:mails. Beware if your property is in a windy location because you will be on your own when the fence fails. I am now displaying a sign, facing a busy road, warning the public.

They came on time, completed in a day and a half, a good clean and tidy job. Very friendly and helpful workers.

I had a colourfence installed 6 years ago and living in an exposed position it has withstood extreme high winds without damage and I have been so pleased with it, I had a 2nd one fitted on 29/01/2025 to replace a badly battered timber one.
This 2nd fence wasn't quite as straightforward as the first one and I was a little apprehensive as to whether Colourfence could meet my needs, but as soon as Matt made a site visit he understood exactly what my requirements were and thus put my mind at rest. He then meticulously conveyed my requirements to Dave H and Dave S who knew exactly what was required and they have installed the fence exactly to my needs. On arrival they immediately put me at ease by their friendly nature and before starting the installation, went through my exact requirements again. They were also very mindful of my adjoining neighbour's garden whilst they were installing my fence.
I would highly recommend this company for their excellent products and customer service and the professionalism of Matt, Dave H and Dave S.

Absolutely delighted with my new Colourfence which was completed today - great service from the planning/quotation by Mark through to the fitting/completion by Gareth and Jarrad.
It wasn’t a straightforward job- with the combination of a very sloped site and a raised garden and me wanting to preserve height and privacy. Gareth and Jarrad did an outstanding job and accommodated all my wishes. They listened to my concerns and involved me in decisions at every step. The end result looks fantastic due to their skill and diligence. Cannot recommend them enough.

Both Dave’s never stopped whilst fitting the fence even whilst it was raining. The fence looks great and they cleaned everything up so we didn’t have to worry about that. Would highly recommend!

The complete experience from initial visit, explanation of the system, quotation and installation was excellent. Installation team of Tom & Steve carried out the work professionally, consulting me on any queries. They let me know their arrival Tim and left the site clean and tidy at the end.
