I purchased a Gaggia Classic Pro from Coffee Friend. When the machine developed an electronic fault under warranty, they accepted the warranty claim without any issues, and I sent the machine to their service centre. It arrived on 18 June.

After several weeks, I was informed that spare parts had to be ordered. I understood this and was happy to wait.

Later, I was told that the machine had been repaired and was ready to be returned.

From that moment, the experience became unacceptable.

They asked me to confirm a delivery address. I replied immediately. Then they stopped responding to my emails.

After several unanswered emails, I finally sent a more formal message. They apologised, admitted that the communication had been poor, and assured me they would arrange shipment that same day if I confirmed the delivery address.

I replied within minutes.

Since then, I have received no confirmation, no tracking number and no explanation. I have sent several follow-up emails, all of which have been ignored.

At the time of writing this review, my machine has been in Coffee Friend’s possession since 18 June, despite being described as repaired and ready for shipment.

The repair itself is no longer my main concern. The real issue is the complete lack of communication and the repeated promises that were never fulfilled.

I genuinely hope Coffee Friend improves its after-sales service because this has been, without question, the worst warranty experience I have ever had.

Update (4 August): After publishing this review, Coffee Friend responded publicly apologising for the lack of communication and asking for additional information to identify my case. However, my entire case is already documented in a single email thread with their customer service. They have my email address, my warranty claim, my UPS return, and the full history of this case. Despite this public response, I still have not received any reply to my latest emails, no shipment confirmation, no tracking number, and no refund.
