I bought 2 baby bangles and paid the extra to have them engraved, when they arrived the inscription was very hard to read and was engraved in the inside of the bangle , i thought it would of been engraved on the outside so that it was seen

I went to the Clogau branch in Conwy today and had the pleasure of meeting your staff member Melissa.
She was knowledgeable without being pushy and I could tell the love she had for the pieces and company.
She was able to strike a note with both myself and my friend and it was one of the best customer service experiences I have had.
Unfortunately I currently couldn't afford to buy something on the spot but now that I have met Melissa and she has told us the Clogau background, not only will i be making sure I buy from yourselves when I do have the money but i want to come back to Conwy to make sure I buy it from Melissa and I will be recommending this company to friends.

I was given a ring from Clogau from a loved one. I tried it on christmas day and it seemed perfect. When it was just 16 days later I wore the ring, and it fell off. I was really worried as I'd never had any clogau jewellery. I phoned customer services who told me to take it to the
Bangor store. I travelled to Bangor with my partner, as advised, which was around 20 mins each way. The staff were very superior and stated that the ring was badly damaged ( the man said silver wears quickly, it was 17 days old. Worn once and tried on christmas day, which isn't really an endorsement for buying silver ) The staff said I need to bring in all the packaging ( I brought it I the box with a receipt) I asked the jiffy bags it came in from the internet? I've never heard of anything like that, why would someone buy you a gift and keep the plastic internet packaging, there was no paperwork, my receipt was on a email.
We were spoken down to and made to feel like the product was totally worthless at 17 days old. I'd gone to the store to ask for assistance and buy my daughters 21st birthday gift. Needless to say I didn't purchase anything, and nor would I again. I emailed, there was no reply, I called customer services which was closed, despite it being in the hours stated on the website. I do not recommend dealing with this company at all.

Purchased an item for my friend’s 50th birthday on 2nd January. Clogau emailed me on the 4th January to say they cannot fulfill the order. I have been chasing the refund ever since and it’s now the 15th January 2024 with no refund in sight. Appalling customer services and attitude and all of my questions to Henry in customer services have been ignored. When I pointed out they have 14 days to refund my money from the point they cancelled the order I was emailed to say they’d made a mistake saying money would be refunded in 10-14 days and that it would 3-5 working days. Untrustworthy and I will not be buying any Welsh gold from them ever again!

As mentioned, Henry has replied several times so is well aware of the issue and my complaint as to why I have had to chase to get a refund, which I still do not have. You are not a bank that I choose to leave my money with and I have never experienced a retailer cancel and order and not automatically issue a refund. He has given me no apology or answered my questions such as why you do not issue an automatic refund. I purchased this item on 2nd January 2024.

I have I have not got a tracking no ot dose not say to get any no on the return part of the sight sent pictures of the broken necklace everything even had the matching bracelett for Christmas that was pointless I did not have 30 pounds to send recorded delivery I keep emailing customer service very very disappointing think I shall recommend people use a different jewelry store now and certainly won't buy as gifts again very disappointing

Bought the new vine of life ring for my daughter for Christmas from the Cwmbran shop staff were very helpful and my daughter loves it so pleased with my purchase!!!

We’ve been customers for over 30 years. I love the jewellery. However, my husband very generously got me the 12 days of Christmas calendar. It cost £500 and stated that the actual value was £900. It was SO disappointing. Full of the sub standard rubbish they can’t sell. I know this as two years ago, with my Valentine’s Day present, I got one of the items free. There was a perfume atomiser in there that you can’t actually put perfume in. I don’t wear stud earrings so two pairs of not very nice studs wasn’t great. No way is this worth even £500. Total rip off. I would rather send them all this rubbish back and choose something decent. Nicest thing about it was the box

Must be making their products with a lot worse quality. Had a gold bracelet worth £500 break 4 times. The last time I went to the store, 3 other people were bringing back broken jewelry. Not worth buying and can be embarrassing when giving a gift.

Bad service, gift presented poorly wrapped. Made me feel uncomfortable as staff were not approachable. More staff tthan customer I was leftt . Won't go again , will go to Cardiff as staff more approachable and show they care bb

Order a ring for Christmas three weeks ago, no sign of my order. Emailed the company and they replied stating they no longer had the stock but I was welcome to pick something else to have a refund but both will now arrive after Xmas! I am out of pocket 150 pound and no present for my mother for Xmas! If I hadn’t emailed I wouldn’t have had any idea either! Furious is an understatement!

Ordered necklace, bracelet and keyring. No order update. No response to email. Turns out they hadn't even got stock of the necklace but do not bother to tell you. Got refund as the customer service was shocking.

I have been a clogau customer since the 90s. My early jewellery was excellent quality and is still going strong. I got engaged in 2020 and bought a white topaz engagement ring and wedding rings whilst in lockdown. We didn't get married until May 2022 and the rings were kept in their boxes in a drawer except the engagement ring which I wore on special occasions. The ring never sparkles which I put down to it being topaz rather than diamond. The wedding rings were used for the wedding and then for special occasions as I work in a hospital and my husband plays sport. They were both the silver bands with Celtic type rose gold inlay. I noticed the rose gold bit on mine was sharp as another reviewer has said and the inlay on my husband's became detached. We sent them back and they were returned to us. Mine is still sharp and my husband's despite being fixed still looks fragile and you can see that the inlay isn't attached all the way round. As we don't wear them often we didn't want to send them back a second time. I've recently ordered a cariad sparkle ring as an alternative wedding ring. I ordered a couple for size. I notice this ring despite being white topaz does sparkle making me think my engagement ring has been faulty all this time. I've attempted to send a return in for the other cariad ring but on filling in the form all I get is a "thank you for subscribing" email. I called the company who said that I should just write a note and post the rings back. I had to ask which method they wanted them to be posted. I had to ask where it needed to be posted. They lady wasn't forthcoming with information or apologetic about the fact I had tried to do it online twice and it had failed. I've now tried to login to my account to find it no longer exists and on re registering it only shows this last order and none of my previous orders or I assume loyalty points. Clogau used to be an excellent prestigious jewellery company. This is just a catalogue of disasters. I have an engagement ring that doesn't shine, two faulty wedding rings and a ring I'm having a nightmare attempting to send back. This will be my last order with them!

I ordered 3 necklaces on the Black Friday deals on 20 Nov. Today is 5 Dec and I still don't have my necklaces. I called them to query where they were and they said, 2 of the necklaces were out of stock, but they had charged me for them. They arranged a refund for one of the necklaces and said they would send the other two. I asked what would have happened if I hadn't called you. I was told, we would have spotted it eventually. Well still nothing arrived. I emailed on 28 Nov to chase it up and was told on the 29th that they did their best to contact customers when items were out of stock, but they were really busy. I was told I would receive them on Friday 1st Dec - nothing arrived. I emailed Thomas at Clogau on 4 December and asked for a tracking number. No reply. I emailed again on 5 Dec no reply. I then called them on 5 Dec and was told that they were considered lost in the post. I have my doubts that they were ever sent in the first place. Appalling service!

Cannot recommend this company highly enough. The young lady who helped us in the Bristol store, was so polite and helpful even though she knew we weren’t buying that day as we had to find out sizing. She explained how to find and order the goods online, ensuring we had the correct codes. A speedy delivery once ordered and then when I had a query, the response from customer service team (Thomas) was so quick and helpful. The jewellery itself is just beautiful and my daughter will love it. I don’t think I’ve received customer service this good for a very long time.

My experience would be quite funny if it wasn't so pitiful. I ordered a 70th Birthday present for my Wife during the Black Friday sale at a 60% discount which was great because I had been very worried over getting a nice present as money is always tight when you are a pensioner. Very shortly afterwards I received a confirmation of my order which said that it would be dispatched very soon. My money was taken immediately and as money is only taken dispatch according to their confirmation email I was confident that all was in order
The following day I received a very short and clinical email stating my order had been cancelled as they had run out of stock. I questioned the cancellation as I was totally distraught as my Wife's great birthday present was now only a dream. Without any consideration or the slightest hint of human feeling I was dismissed without the offer of a substitute or favourable terms on an alternative I was told that my money, which should never have been taken in the first place would be refunded. I then received confirmation that only a PARTIAL refund had been received.
The following day I received another email stating that " not long to wait now your order will be on its way soon". I emailed to say that I was glad the dispute had been resolved only to get a further email saying that it was incorrect and I was not getting my purchase.
I must be honest and say that I have never before encountered such incompetence and lack of any human touches whatsoever, obviously a very poorly run Company without the slightest regard for it's reputation or it's customers.

I really love their jewellery, it’s beautiful and subtle. My first Clogau ring was my wedding ring. I’ve bought more for my daughter for special birthdays to remind her that she’s both classy and Welsh. She loves all her rings. It’s so nice that they have lovely designs that are perfect for for a father to give a daughter… Recently, one of the rings I bought got damaged. I asked them if they would fix it, and how much it would cost. The answer, ‘Of course’ and ‘Nothing’. Just marvellous. I think I’ll get married again so I can have another wedding ring.

I sent my Clogau ring back to their Head Office in the hope that they could repair it for me. I have had it for years in memory of my Welsh grandma but due to constant wear it had a few issues with it and I had to stop wearing it which was a real shame. They did an amazing job and restored it back to its former glory so I can now wear it again. I'm really happy with the service I received, thank you.

I thought customer service was bad first time round ( see previous review. However, having received a second pair of the £400 earrings, the fault was the same. We were promised a refund. They were sent back cost ( £8.15) received 26th October and signed for. Now asked for tracking refs etc. still no apology, still no birthday present for me. I would never buy from this company again and would not advise others to do so

I ordered a bracelet a week ago and contacted them to ask where it is they told me it was sold out yet still got it advertised on line if I had not messaged I would still be waiting and this was a birthday present I have spent a lot on this site but will NOT be buying here again they have had my money a week and now have to wait for a refund 😡
