City Wonders Arvostelua

We absolutely loved our tour guide, she was so funny and knowledgable. When she passed us off to our Beefeater, the amazing tour continued inside. It was so great to skip the line to the Crown Jewels, also!

Emiliano made our day perfect.
The tour was very informative - an unusual aspect of Rome!

Fab guide - great views

Angela was knowledgeable and very funny. We really enjoyed her as our guide. Best guide so far in paris!!

Was an excellent tour and Deepal was very knowledgeable and a grear tour guide

Great experience, Haitham our tour guide was knowledgeable and a great story teller. I would highly recommend you guys. From South Africa

The information we had prior to our visit was very clear and the meeting place easy to find. Patrick was an incredible guide who was so informative about the historical site and the natural surroundings. We would definitely recommend.

Good guide with a lot of interesting information. He also showed pictures as it should have been.

We enjoyed a truly informative tour with Barbara who was educated and inspired by the overwhelming magnificence of the masterpieces we were fortunate to see. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone interested in the history of the Borghese Gallery and the antiquities therein.

The guided visit of the Eiffel Tower was well organized, the meeting point was easy to find and we had an excellent guide. We were hoping to get a fairly quick access to the tower, but the waiting time was still quite long, around 1,5 hours.

The Tower Tour is the outside building tour. Your tour guide from City Wonders starts with you and then turns you over to the Beefeater which is a very honorable position starting with at least 22 years experience in the military. Our Beefeater was truly the outstanding part of the entire tour.
I highly recommend this tour. If you like tours of the inside of a museum, this is not the right tour. I would book this one and then book a secondary tour guide for the inside of the tower. This is going to take a lot longer than we had, we had two hours tops we saw the jewels we saw the prison and a few other areas.

Guide très sympathique et intéressante
Visite sublime sans trop de foule
Une facilité d’accès au sommet
Un grand merci

The tour was very beautiful and exciting and Paula made it very enjoyable with her quick wit and wonderful personality. She was very knowledgeable and entertaining.

We had a great day on this bus and boat tour to Lake Como and Lake Lugano. The tour guide Alice was very good at her job and spoke English well and understandably, with humour. She explained the local history including villas of international interest as well as giving us clear and repeated information about what we were seeing. Also appreciated the free time in these places to explore on our own.

Our tour guide Nicola did a fantastic job. Thank you! He knew the Museum and the Chapel to the core and could at any moment illustrate and entertain with stories and explanations. The only downside was that on Wednesdays the Basilica is closed in the mornings because of the general audience which was (as far as I remember) not marked on the website when I booked the tour. Otherwise, great service and perfect organization. Thank you, Headout and City Wonders!

We are from South Africa and we had an incredible experience with City Wonders on the Full Experience tour, exploring the Colosseum, Arena Floor, Roman Forum and Palatine Hill. A special thank you to our guide, Giorgio, who was absolutely excellent! He was knowledgeable, engaging and passionate about Roman history, making the entire tour interesting and enjoyable. We learned so much and thoroughly enjoyed every moment.

Exactly as promised
Excellent tour guide and driver , she is very professional, knowledgeable and helpful. The trip was wonderful and on time we enjoyed our trip and advise others for the same

All three venues were interesting and different. Our tour guide Emilio was fantastic, the history and facts poured out of him like an open faucet.

I Would Think Twice Before Booking This Company in Rome, Italy

I strongly encourage anyone considering this company while visiting Rome to exercise caution.

My experience was so disappointing and difficult to believe that it left me questioning the company’s professionalism, transparency, and even whether its guides are properly licensed or certified.

One of my first concerns was the company’s refusal to disclose the name of the guide assigned to our tour. Upon arrival, identifying the on-site coordinator was unnecessarily difficult, and the lack of clear identification and communication only added to the confusion.

When you book a guided experience in a city as historically significant as Rome, you reasonably expect professionalism, organization, and transparency. Unfortunately, my experience raised serious concerns about all three.

I cannot speak to the actual qualifications of the guides, but the company’s unwillingness to provide basic information certainly did not inspire confidence.

My advice? Think twice before booking. Rome is an extraordinary city, and your experience deserves to be entrusted to a company that values professionalism, accountability, and its customers.

We took the City Wonders Rome day tour to Amalfi , Positano and Sorrento with Johann. It was a great experience - enjoyable , well organized and a seamless experience . Johann has been a great guide - patient , witty and knowledgeable. It was enjoyable and memorable.
