I reserved with payment for a 1brd apartment for my son for his birthday through Cheaptickets.com
On the hour of check in my son couldn't get in the unit. We caled the host and this scam artist basically said someone was there illegally, however he's still renting and taking people money.
As I continued to talk to him he was rude arrogant and racist.
I call cheaptickets, and they basically sold my online room purchase to VRBO..
I tried to remain calm, because at this point my son was a few hours from home with no where to go. I called VRBO in which I never used or never been on their website, or ever made a purchase or paid money to them.
I was even more shocked that had my reservation, in which was never booked through them, nevertheless they helped because they somehow or another had the reservation..
Vrbo did help by finding him another hotel location and paying difference in price..
I still believe that the reservation swap is bad practice and is somehow illegal but
I still Thank VRBO for their help..not cheaptickets.com their whole existence is a waste of time and money

After research I found out the owner of the apartment is differently a con artist. He does this type of business all the time according to other reviews I've read.
Just a warning if you chose to use any third-party site dont rent from this owner @ this location..If your a minority you will be scammed..

The Airline changed my schedule and asked me to contact the travel agency where I made my travel booking. When I contacted Cheaptickets. They simply told me that my schedule was changed. No suitable alternative can be given and my ticket is ineligible for a refund. Pathetic and useless. It is scam. Avoid having anything to do with this scam agency.

I booked a package through CheapTickets and my flight with Spirit Airlines was CANCELLED. Now they’re saying my remaining balance is $2,000, but when I asked for a refund, I was told I’d only get $157 back?!

How does that make any sense when I didn’t even use the ticket? This is beyond frustrating. I paid for a service I never received, and this is how it’s handled?

Completely unacceptable. I would NOT recommend booking through this site.A SCAM!!!!

They left my 19 year old son stranded in Nairobi. They did not want to contact the check-in. They rebooked us by callling and texting them 100 times. Finally they rebooked on the correct date but the airline could not find his ticket in the system… we were worried about this and called and chatted about this issue several times. They said we willl be ok. Now he is stranded.

Reden: hun klantenservice is in de praktijk compleet onbereikbaar. Niet te doen.
Je wordt continue uit de chat gegooid bij meer dan 30 wachtenden voor je. Bellen kan niet, whatsapp duurt ook eeuwig. Bij Whatsapp en Chat: en als je even 1 minuut niet oplet en niet meteen reageert na uren wachten, gooien ze je er uit en kan je weer opnieuw beginnen.

Waardeloos.

Wo sind wir auf dieser Welt gelandet, dass man keinen anständigen Kundenservice mit ECHTEN MENSCHEN bekommt, für die absurden Preise welche man je nachdem für einen Flug bezahlt!

Fraud, Like everyone else here they charge you then call and ask for more and more money, they wanted $800 more and said they would charge me anyway

Was terrified after booking my tickets on Cheaptickets and THEN I read the reviews here — I bought tickets for a concert in Vegas through cheaptickets.com but the email came through, with the tickets, from ticketmaster (and at about $50 less than the same tickets on the ticketmaster site). the concert is only on the 31st so I will report back if all went okay, but thus far I have the e-tickets and all looks legit.

UPDATE: well, mixed feelings really as we went to the concert, were scanned in fine, but oddly there were people in our seats with the same seat numbers, but the two beside them were free and we sat there, No other seats were free so I am thinking the seats were nudged over by the computer somehow — regardless, they WERE valid upon entry and we saw the show, so no problem in the end with the tickets (John Fogarty at Planet Hollywood in Vegas).

Do not use! If I could give 0 stars I would. Made it all the way to Disney world for them to say my tickets had been cancelled but they never contacted me and told me. No email, no nothing. It even showed that I still had vouchers on my account. Freaking sad. Already had my kids a few miles from Disney world ready to go. All they could say was sorry. Had to scrounge up tickets in a hurry. DO NOT USE

Wir warten seit Mai auf die Rückerstattung eines stornierten LATAM-Fluges. CheapTickets verspricht ständig neue Fristen, liefert aber keine Ergebnisse. Jeder Mitarbeiter erzählt etwas anderes, niemand übernimmt Verantwortung, und es gibt keinen schriftlichen Nachweis für den angeblichen Refund-Prozess. Absolut unprofessionell und kundenfeindlich. Nie wieder.

Bei Flugverspätungen oder anschliessenden Umbuchungen ist man völlig alleine gelassen und kann nicht auf den Kundendienst und deren Hilfe zurückgreifen...einmal Cheap niemehr Cheap

Ik heb een ticket geboekt maar omdat het een enkele reis was naar Colombia kon ik niet Colombia niet binnen alleen met een retourticket dus heb ik dat gedaan maar ik ben 700 euro kwijt omdat cheaptickets mij niks terug betalen kon tijd vertelde ze mij en het was 3maanden voor vertrek maar er waren geen refund mogelijk volgens hun maar wel 700 euro betaald voor niks

Dieses Verhalten ist aus unserer Sicht unseriös und kundenfeindlich. Ich empfehle dringend, Flüge direkt bei der Airline oder über vertrauenswürdige Anbieter zu buchen. Wer hier spart, zahlt am Ende oft drauf – mit Zeit, Geld und Nerven.

This company is a fat big liar. they lie to customers to force them to pay more. What they do and what they say are totally different. I don;t advise people to buy tickets with them. Go everywhere but, CHEAP TICKETS, as the name says it: they are CHEAP, cheap in doing good business, cheap mentality, cheap talk cheap in everything ! they lie to get more money. Not worth it.
