The worst experience traveling by train. Inattentive staff with a negative attitude. Our trip was 6 hours and 40 minutes from Budapest to Prague and the train had no food, understand that we traveled in 1st class, the seats do not recline, when we went to the dining room all the tables had extra dirty tablecloths and when I say dirty they were disgusting . There was no paper in the bathroom, we asked the “manager” and he told us that's not my concern. Oh my God. They sell you the ticket as if they have wifi but it doesn't exist. Total disorganization! By the way, the air conditioner didn't work, we were about to faint.

That the German railway network is on par with a developing country is outside of the operator's control. However, giving no information about the reason for the delay and when they expect to depart is subpar. The only announcement that was given was that another train on a different platform was leaving in 5 minutes. And that information was only given in German.

Alles gut gelaufen mit der Ic Fahrt von Marienbad nach Prag, netter Service..man konnte alles vorab problemlos von Deutschland aus buchen, Superpünktlich.nur auf der Rückfahrt war es in der ersten Klasse etwas laut vom Personal, sonst alles gut.

Unprofessional and rude staff both on the train and in customer service, especially in the testing department Directorate General!

Neprofesionální a hrubý personál jak ve vlaku, tak v zákaznickém servisu, zejména Odbor zákaznického servisu a zkoušek Generální ředitelství!!!!!!!!!

Mein Schülerausweis wurde nicht als Schülerausweis anerkannt. Es wurde eine bestimme Karte benötigt, die ich als deutsche Schülerinnen natürlich nicht habe. Wer also nicht aus Tschechien kommt und als Schüler reisen möchte darf nicht den Schülerpreis buchen. Einfach nur dumm was soll man dazu noch sagen!?

DO NOT GET TICKETS WITH THEM. Worst company. Do not purchase a ticket here, the website may not be a scam, but your ticket might get a problem.

I purchased a ticket with them, in the website says seats are free of charge and it will be automatically allocated, it gives you also the option of edit and change the seat they chose to you, as I did. When I paid, the ticket came without a seat. I called them, they told me I would need to pay for the seat, neither the seat I selected or the random seat was added where confirmed by me and I could either pay or travel standing up with a 5 months old baby. Amazing, right? Really poor service

I used ČD for over 3 years now, on&off. Toilets work, food is offered on long-distance trains + Nighjets are operating on some routes in the nigh time. Prices are cheap, even if you buy on the same day (doesnt really to IC/EC/Nj ane R categories though). Regional trains are almost always on time, staff chceks tickets and helps if neccessary.There might be little delays on Expresses, international and EC/IC trains...but you travel a long distance, so something may happen. Staff even tried to help when my connections were interrupted due to delay and gave me ticket for next train for free.
ALWAYS buy ticket online if possible - in R, EC and IC category you get usually free seat reservation, through Můj Vlak, mobile apllication.

Only negative thing are refunds - even though it may see easy..i never got my money back when I didnt use the ticket at all (used online buying option in Můj Vlak application)

Going with this train was torture.
Completely overbooked. No light or any kind of electricity in one waggon.
Some kind of fluid was slowly dropping on the floor.
Staff did not speak english or did not know the answer to our question... The train would part but no one knew anything and it was not written anywhere nor was it said through the speakers. People were switching waggons last second and probably some did not make it.
Definetely not enough waggons for the amount of passengers.
We thought about leaving this train and going by taxi just because it was so crowded and awful. But that would have been too expensive (almost 3 hour drive).
So we were standing in the train for a little over 5 hours. I will not ever go anywhere by train again!!! It is to expensive to be like that. Chickens or pigs in mass production have more space.....
People had to pass to go to the restrooms or to leave the train so you had to let them squeeze by. I had so much body contact to strangers, at home I showered so much just to feel a little better.
One restroom was not usable as there was someone who locked himself in.
Train was also late. That was a bad ending to a very nice trip.
I am writing this review a day later and I feel like s**t. I am so exhausted and tired plus my legs are hurting.
Please use any other kind of transportation but do not make the same mistake as me and my friends. Even walking would be better.....

Mein 15 jährige Sohn hatte kein Ausweis dabei, deswegen sollte er Erwachsenefahrkarte haben und nicht Junior. Schaffnerin wollte nicht ruhig angebotene Nachzahlung nehmen ohne erniedrigende Show und Machtanspruch für ganzen Wagon zu demonstrieren. Dazu hatte auch unsere Tickets fotografiert, wenn wir uns beschweren über sie, wird Verkaufskollegin auch verpetzt und reingezogen. Bahn in Ordnung, Personalbenehmen unterirdisch. Leider war es kein Aprilscherz.

Die tschechische Staatsbahn ist ein serviceorientiertes Unternehmen.
Die Mitarbeiter die im grenznahem Bereich eingesetzt werden können alle auch Deutsch. Man bekommt auch am Schalter eine angemessene Beratung, sodaß man keine Fahrkarte kauft, die einem nicht nützt.
Leider wurde bisher noch keine Kooperation geschlossen, das die Bahncard für die Bürger der BRD auf der kompletten Reisestrecke gilt.
Leider kann man sich im DB-Navigator keinen Preis bis Prag ausrechnen lassen.
Ich bin mehrfach die Strecke bis Decin gefahren, wenn eine Signalstörung war, so war es auf der Deutschen Seite..
