Requested a quote for dpf and egr delete.
Ist only got quote on stage tuning. Then I asked again on dpf and egr only to be informed can only have this done alongside tuning. This is not clearly stated on their website and they are basically blackmailing you to have this done alongside tuning to boost the price. This company is misleading and should provide an accurate quote for what was required and not add extra conditions. Stay clear and go elsewhere

I've just had 3 cars re-mapped: a Mini Cooper S, a BMW Z4 28i and a BMW 520d.

The technician was bang on time, knowledgeable and professional.

The three cars are transformed. The 5 Series now barely needs to kick down when on the motorway and the power band is so much more useable and the car seems far quieter. The Z4 is just effortless; it's like a magic carpet ride.

And the Mini? Imagine giving a hornet crystal meth and rattling it around in a jam jar. Yep, it's like that.

The guys provide a friendly, professional service. I was particularly impressed by their honesty - they told me a couple of things about my car I didn’t know and showed me in detail how they optimised my engine performance and fuel efficiency.

163 bhp std,auto box now 238bhp, acceleration 7.9 sec now 6.5 sec to 60, much smoother acceleration, economy unchanged at 70 mph. Very happy, thanks to Alastair, Market Deeping, a real enthusiast and very expert.

Had my mrk7 golf r mapped with a Celtic tune and the car would hit the rev limiter in sport mode.took it back and had it remapped with the latest software only to have the same problem. Got told it must be a software problem so no money back so I took the car somewhere else and no software problem found. The car had a terrible gearbox map saying to change gear at 7350rpm in sport mode please stay clear 🙏

Inherited a 1ltr ecoboost base level fiesta with boilerplate stated 99bhp and 111 lb/ft. Terrible in this factory form, needed to change from fifth to fourth just to get up slight inclines on the m40.
The car had 30,000 miles on and we had Celtic Tuning come around to our house to do the remap.
Afterwards a complete transformation, increased to 159bhp and 194 lb/ft. For a car in this base zetec trim it is around 1030kg. After remapping it gives it a similar power to weight ratio to my mark 2 2ltr turbo Audi TT, but handles and drives far better.
I had this done in January 2020 and now nearly six years and 35,000 miles later it is still going strong.
The secret with any map on a small ecoboost engine is not to stress out the gearbox in first gear and don’t frequently over rev, you do not need to anyway, the car is very light and this level of torque happens low down and is very strong in the mid range.
Fuel economy is 43mpg average over the last 10,000 miles, the same as it was showing on the trip computer when I got it and before the remap, like most manufacturers the original claimed fuel consumption is an optimistic work of fiction.
Also on the ecoboost service at least every year with the correct oil and you should be fine.

Jamie came out to remap my Vauxhall Astra 1.9 cdti, I opted for a stage 1, he arrived on time, had it done within 30 mins and came with me for the test drive to make sure everything was running properly.

I've just had a Stage One ECU and TCU remap conducted on my Alfa Romeo 4C. The service was exemplary. The technician turned up on time - to the minute and worked none stop to get the install done. He was very approachable and explained in each stage in detail (I expect he was fed up with all my questions! But, certainly didn't show it). Having now driven the car, it is nothing short of remarkable; it pulls well, the gear changes are very smooth and the gearbox no longer "dithers" trying to work out which gear to use at low speeds or part throttle. In short the best £400 odd quid I've spent since I bought the car!.

Amazing product

totally transformed my car. its amazing. the tune is perfect with no faults. the car is so much better in all respects, speed, pick up , response. the engineer who did the tune was great, insisting i take a test drive to see if i was happy with everything. all done in under an hour. Amazing

I recently had my 2016 honda cr-v ex 1.6 i-dtec 160ps remapped. The technician (Jamie) walked me through what he was going to do so I understood what's going on. He's a really friendly guy. The map was a lot smoother than the OEM version but unfortunately under full throttle the car missed and ran rough. I informed Jamie and he advised me it may be the ecu learning. But unfortunately it still persisted I rang Celtic to ask for the original map to be reinstalled as I was towing a caravan shortly. It was booked in thank you Scott, Jamie came out to reinstall the old map and the car is running fine. That's a shame because it was a very smooth progressive and a lot more powerful. I just can't fault Celtic Tuning they got me in again and issued a full refund. I will definitely use them again on my next car.

This was my third remap by Celtic tuning although my first using the eMotion+ system. I did have a couple of issues saving the file from my vehicle but got excellent support from Celtic tuning and everything went well with their help, I always trusted their map but with their exceptional support I would not go anywhere else. I will certainly be using them in the future.

I had my VW POLO GTI stage 1 mapped today by Reece the technician. He knew his stuff when it came to cars. The installation process was fast.

I was able to test drive it afterwards, the performance improvement is outstanding. I’m thrilled with the outcome and highly recommend Celtic Tuning to anyone.

I've used Celtic Tuning twice in the last year, C70 T5 and TTS. Each time service has been spot on, had Jamie perform the work both times and have zero issues with the booking in, scheduling or the work. I think reading the comments that people who've had bad experiences could easily be down to many things and not just the remap. Of course more power is going to highlight any existing issues with the car (although Celtic do a health check on fault codes beforehand), of course more power is going to put more wear on potentially aging parts like clutches. My advice, if you're looking at getting any performance mods done, make sure that the foundations of the car are solid first before having work done then moaning that 'the remap made my exhaust fall off' which is just ridiculous. Would 100% recommend Celtic Tuning

Recently I had my 2018 Audi RS5 remapped by Celtic Tuning, but I had to have the car flashed back to stock with a full refund a few weeks later.

The remapped RS5 wasn’t running properly after cold-starting, the IAT sensor was reading -40 degrees on startup which caused the revs to “hunt” up and down by throwing huge amounts of fuel into the engine on a cold start.

Celtic sent someone out to try and diagnose the issue the following week.

After several hours on the second visit, the Celtic software team still couldn’t figure out what the issue was on my RS5, they just kept flashing different files to my ECU hoping that one of them would work, but they were all the same.

After trying at least 4 different files, and after 2 visits, I gave up, and asked for a refund.
My car was flashed back to stock on the 3rd visit, and now it cold-starts perfectly again!

I asked for the manager to call me after the 2nd visit to explain what’s going on and to find out what the next steps would be, but I never received a call.

Both techs who initially visited me were in a rush the whole time - one of them even left a test map on my car at one point and then drove away, because he was so keen to finish work early! - luckily he came back!

Overall my experience with Celtic Tuning was poor, and I’ll never use them again.

If you own a B9 Audi RS5, don’t get it remapped by this company.

Celtic are pretty wrll known now and their maps are in other cars I have owned with no issues. Yesterday my XF Jag was remapped to stage 1 and it certainly gives a bigger shove now, time will tell with economy. Previous experience proved it to be 5% better if you drive it really carefully. Obviously if you use the bigger power, it won't be better! Bad point was they screwed up the booking time at head office so were well over an hour late and I wasted a morning off waiting. A very non responsive call centre also was frustrating. However, so far so good, it's worth the £295 ish!

Had the Honda CR-V 2.2 auto diesel stage 1 remapped today - by Jamie.
Could tell there was a difference - just reversing off the drive.
From a standing start to 60mph - about 3/4 seconds quicker - and the automatic gear change really nice and almost silky smooth.
Mid range overtaking - pulling torque 40mph-70mph
now puts a smile on my face - reminiscent of my civic 2.2 ctdi :o)
Has made it the car- that it should have been from the factory. Total pleasure to drive.

Jamie arrived on time - and answered all my questions. Was knowledgeable, professional and courteous - but also friendly, personable, approachable

Had remap of my mondeo few years ago and due to Ford recall it had felt flat.called Celtic and were so helpful, gave me appointment for next day,reflashed the original remap and made it right.cant recommend enough and didn't cost me another penny.hows that for service.
