Celtic Legend Ltd Arvostelua 

This was my second time hiring a car from Celtic Legend, and once again, it was a superb experience. Pick-up and drop-off were quick and easy, and the vehicle was exactly what we requested.

We purchased the excess insurance and, thankfully, didn’t need to use it, but I highly recommend it. It’s a small price to pay for peace of mind especially when driving on the left side of the road and sharing the narrow, twisting roads with wildlife.

The staff are efficient, professional, and friendly, and they make the entire car-hire experience enjoyable and stress-free. I would definitely use Celtic Legend again and highly recommend them.

From the first moment everything was perfect.
Pick up at Edimburgh airport by a celtic legend (arnold Clarck) bus and in five minutes we were in their office.
The check in was very quick and everyone was very polite. They offered us a coffee and water during the check in.
The car was almost new and they explained very well every aspect of the car.
Same things when we bring back the car.
Great job.

We are very thankful to have had a rented car to explore more of this beautiful country. It was very easy to arrange the rental, the site is user-friendly and the team is organized and with great communication (between Celtic Legend and Arnold Clark). And the people we met to pick up the car and then to drop off were very nice too.
We picked the car in the outskirts of Edinburgh, which was good to get to know the car and get used to driving on the left for a little bit and then we crossed the bridge towards north. We dropped it in the airport, just before our flight home. Because it was different points but within the same city we didn't pay extra - it was great!
The car itself was amazing: clean, modern, safe, comfortable. It was brand-new, had a panoramic ceiling which was our favourite feature (we loved having the sky above us) and a big screen to view maps, which was also a plus. Lots of space for luggage as well.
Overall, we only have the greatest compliments and we would definetely use this again and recommend it to others.

Nothing to say negative. The car was clean and pretty new, very efficient to pick and to return. It was very pleasant to interact with the people who worked there. They also sent us a few emails to be prepared for the trip, which was unusually useful because I didn’t know that we have to do UK ETA. 5/5 from me.

We hired a small car from Arnold Clark in Inverness via Celtic Legend for our trip to Skye, and we will definitely use them again in the future. Why? Very quick, professional communication via email, using the online booking system; decent price, no hidden costs and the free additional driver was very much appreciated. Everything from start to finish was excellent.

Let me start this review by addressing anyone who has been driving in the US for more than 30 years and has not yet visited Europe or driven a right-hand drive car on the left side of the road. After researching numerous rental car company reviews on Reddit, Rick Steves’ forums, and Google, we decided that Celtic Legend was our best choice. Now, after three weeks in Scotland, our experience has proven to be everything we hoped for and more.

Our positive experience began with the Celtic Legend staff, who promptly answered our initial questions via email. They also recommended an online course through Tripiamo for understanding local driving rules, signage, and traffic flow. I strongly suggest this course to any US driver—don’t skip it; it is well worth the investment.

When we arrived in Edinburgh, the staff picked us up from the tram stop; they were helpful, professional, and ensured we were comfortable with the car before we departed. My only complaint involves the provided dash cam. Despite being told it was user-friendly, we could not get it to function properly. It was swapped out twice before we left, yet we still faced issues with a lack of instructions, limited menu functions, and no audio recording despite multiple attempts to enable the microphone. This was our first trip to Scotland in 30 years, and we were disappointed that we couldn't capture the scenery as intended. Lesson learned: if you want to record your drive, bring your own reliable dash cam.

That said, the vehicle we selected—a compact executive car—was a pristine BMW Series 1 provided by Arnold Clark, Celtic Legend’s partner. Everything went smoothly from pickup to drop-off. The car had 12,000 miles on it with only a few minor scuffs, and it drove like a dream. The built-in sat-nav worked flawlessly, locating every address we entered with the exception of one minor dead-end road. I highly recommend opting for the sat-nav if it is offered.

We returned the car to Aberdeen after driving over 1,000 miles across Scotland, and the Arnold Clark team dropped us off at the airport as promised, right on time. All in all, this was a very satisfying experience, including the different pickup and drop off locations. We highly recommend Celtic Legend to anyone looking for a reliable car rental, and don't forget the Tripiamo course to ensure you're prepared for the roads!

This is the second time we’ve hired a car for 10 days. Picking up from Inverness, dropping off in Glasgow and couldn’t fault the customer service. Great communication from the very beginning to dropping off and ordering us a taxi back to our accommodation. Would highly recommend

I had booked a rental car through another provider, but had seen many people online recommending Celtic Legend so I thought I'd contact them. From my very first contact with Laura, I felt the difference. Her communication was personal as to what we needed, and Laura was interested enough in my itinerary to offer solutions and ways to make the pick-up and drop-off easier for us. I cancelled my other booking and am so glad I did! When we collected our car (in Seafield, Edinburgh) the lovely staff member realised the car we were hiring already had a built in sat-nav and cancelled and refunded the one we'd paid for immediately. Every staff member we dealt with was friendly and efficient. The car itself was fabulous and never missed a beat - we drove from Edinburgh up to John O'Groats and Thurso, then all around the north east and back to Edinburgh. Honestly, I'll never use another hire company when we're next in the UK. Thank you all!

Fantastic Service, I met a lady several years ago in Europe and during our brief chat she mentioned that she had hired a car in the UK and driven around Scotland and Wales, I told her that was also on my future agenda and she said to use Celtic Legend’s that they were great.
That lady was not wrong the customer service was terrific, we originally booked the car pickup from Birmingham but due to the war in Iran we had to change our carrier from Qatar to Cathay Pacific , Cathay did not fly into Birmingham we contacted Archie from Celtic Legend’s and he said no problem, we changed the pickup from Birmingham to Manchester and 6 weeks later we dropped the car off in Liverpool, no issues what so ever.
Little things like no extra charge for an additional driver (my wife did not drive but it was great to have the backup option), no additional fee for drop off at a different location and no additional fee for the upgrade from Manual to Auto, these were very much appreciated.
I cannot speak highly enough of Celtic Legend’s, the service and vehicle was excellent.

Tutto perfetto, consigliatissimo

This is our 3rd time renting from Celtic Legend Ltd, and it won't be our last. On our most recent trip, we changed our itinerary several times, which changed our pick-up and/or drop-off location several times. They stayed positive and helpful, never getting frustrated with all of our changes. The pick-up was fast, friendly, and well-organized. We received a clean, nearly new, fuel-efficient SUV that handled narrow country lanes and fast motorways with total ease. The service is exceptional and the booking process super easy.

This is the second time we've trusted Celtic Legend for our UK trip, this time to the north of England, and once again, reliability was guaranteed. The car was perfect, and the pick-up and drop-off in Leeds were quick and hassle-free. The Arnold Clark's office in Leeds is in the city, not at the airport, which means a half-hour taxi/Uber ride from the airport. Nothing serious, though. We'll definitely be using them again.

Another incredible experience dealing with Celtic Legend. I cannot praise the service enough - it is a rare thing in today's world. The communication process throughout was seamless and without hassles. Booking, selecting a car and payment details were all provided promptly and the Celtic Team were a pleasure to deal with. Car Pick up and drop off through Arnold Clark was also without issues - also great staff and service.
