I cannot recommend Capricorn Financial enough – my situation was tricky at best with selling my current property in order to secure funds and buy a new-build with a constantly changing completion date. Thomas Aydeon and Alexandra Agafitei clearly explained the different options available to me and worked through calculations for a couple of different scenarios due to my situation. Tom and Alex were very quick at coming back to me and answering any queries, they also assisted in my communication with my solicitor when things were a little complicated. My mortgage adviser was Dan Sinclair who was very helpful and has good communication skills.

I was planning to get my mortgage before 30 June but had another brooker. Whenever i called him i didn't reach him and he replied my emails after weeks. Got my documents ready long time ago but he didn't manage to apply right tome and wasted my time everything took almost 2 months . I also paid him before the application.
After that Dan from Capricorn contacted me through estate agency and i started to work with him. I sent all my documents to him he found the right lender in a week and the best deal he could get for me.

Whole process was very fast and smooth so thanks to him and his team.

In my experience, i can advise you to make your research, find someone with good communication skills and get your documents beforehand.

I recently bought a property and Alex Smith was my mortgage advisor. I cannot recommend Alex and Capricorn enough, no matter how glowing a review I write it won’t do justice to how helpful they have been. Alex was extremely knowledgeable, competent and professional throughout the process. He was always available, ready to answer all of my questions and after each time I spoke to him I hung up the phone feeling better about the transaction.

When there were hiccups Alex and Todd were on it and took ownership of my file even if the task would technically fall under the remit of solicitors or estate agents, they just worked hard to get things done.

Their fees are also extremely reasonable and I wasn’t invoiced a single penny until my mortgage funds were released and the transaction was complete.

Until I found Alex and Capricorn I spoke/worked with other mortgage brokers and none came anywhere close to the quality of this service. I would give Capricorn more than 5 stars if I could – I genuinely believe they are the best mortgage advisory in the whole of UK. Absolutely brilliant.
