Have been using Capium for a couple of years now. Using for payroll, bookkeeping, VAT returns, self assessment, account production and corporation tax submission. Bookkeeping could do with some improvement especially bank reconcilliations to make it more user friendly. Well integrated with HMRC. Overall is a good software and affordable.

We've been using Capium for a number of years now after moving to them as we were looking for an entirely cloud-based solution for our practice.

The software is straightforward to use and does exactly what we need.

I've been using this software since 2015. It's the perfect accompaniment for a small practise that is looking to automate many functions - invoicing, payments, payroll, deadlines, practise management, AML, Due Diligence, Company Secretarial, Accounts production and all taxes. It's a fully inclusive package that is affordable. The staff are just the best - great, fast, reactive support teams where everything is sorted within hours; sales staff that go above and beyond to make your experience the best it could be. After working with Sage, Quickbooks and Xero and finding these are really frustrating for a smaller practise, I have never looked back once I took the plunge and signed up to Capium. Everything is covered.

We signed up for capium 6 years ago for all modules, and never changed it since. We use capium bookkeeping and accounting for 90% of our client based, and works so well for us with family owned limited companies, subcontractors, and CIS clients. the automation between the modules makes it easier to refresh the accounts and corp tax returns. Payroll provids bulk payroll runs for all our 300+ payroll clients which used to take 4 days to run individually on different softwares. The most important point is prompt response to the issues we raise, they look after us so well. The only downside is, dext automation. Next step should be dext automation, then Capium will have it all for us.

I have been using Capium for around 7yrs. It took me ages looking for software that was simple enough not to be overwhelming but did what I needed. The support is fantastic, we usually have a reply within 24hrs even if it's to say that my query is being looked into. I would highly recommend Capium.

We have been using Capium for 6years now and since then, I moved from 6 clients to 80 clients as a part time activity. With the software, my workload increase hasnt been felt. You have everything in one place, can work from anywhere ans any device. I love the multiple module integration. As an expert users I have learned to live of some minor deffect observed and like the fact they are constantly integrating new features.

We've been using Capium for 3 years now, and they have been great at support and are looking at bringing in a lot of new features shortly!

We've been very impressed with how the Accounts Production/Corp Tax flows between the two - and we also have had a really good experience using their Self-Assessment module.

They are currently looking at bringing in CapiPay for bookkeeping and also a new CapiSign feature which looks good! A lot of time is now being spent on developing their software for the next version of Capium.

I would really recommend them, especially as it is cost-effective, great value for what we pay, and fantastic relationship with management.

This is a great software for cloud accounting. They are trying their best to update it day by day.

The software is great, but more than that the staff take on feedback and are continuingly improving the software. They are always keen to listen and help. Refreshing change to other software providers.

Dreadful customer service who are unwilling and ill-equipped to offer any assistance. Would suggest avoiding this software.

Looks good at first glance, the demo's make it out to be very good however, once you commit and pay for the software, it's utterly terrible. The customer service is awful, the software seems incomplete , broken and doesn't flow through to each module smoothly. It's clearly been put together by people in different departments who don't use this software themselves or even test it. It's shockingly bad and glitches every now and then. The bookkeeping is useless on this software, its incredibly slow and complicated. It needs more integrations with other software's as importing data from excel isn't ideal, and is not always accurate as Capium seems to 'lose' data that is imported but doesn't flag up an error. Capium's development appears non existent, as they have been saying for literally years (since 2018) they would improve certain aspects of the software and still have not. Waste of time and money.

Not deserving a star even. Extremely bad experience with support and software in all!

* Support is not available at all times, as other softwares offer. Not convenient if you have issues on weekends and it happens to be a deadline for Payroll submissions;

* Not being able to buy a pack or pay for a new module online, support needs to approve that to actually make a payment, otherwise it gives you an error. If you need it urgently it is your loss (I have tried twice in several months' range);

* Somehow March submissions disappeared without explanation. I did not even raise this to support and did it through another software as the problems with support just became too much;

* Problems with software at convenient times (slowing down and impossible to work or unable to submit during deadlines);

* Got a day-off to do a meeting with Mr Nick Cheyne from support and he decided not to attend and did not reply to emails up until the next few days. Did not give a proper excuse and even if there was one- did not at least give a notice so I request a new one at another time;

* They can just restrict your access at any time if you use the free Bookkeeping and Payroll modules. You will then need to contact support to do back-up as they do that (restricting) if you try to pay;

* Lying about no longer offering free Bookkeeping as there was just enough problems with support already and want to be done with.

There are way better softwares available and cheaper even. Not worth the efforts.

Very poorly structured software service. This site has extreme limitation in uses of its load capacity. It goes down frequently especially during submission deadlines.
