This was the worst camera that I have ever purchased and to have to pay a subscription is crazy it clicks off of the detection mode it clicks off of human mode you got to keep going back in doing it at least twice a day like this camera is very dysfunctional doesn't even go far my camera is set up just like my ring camera was and it's horrible I wish I could return it I wish I never bought it everything that's cheaper is not always better horrible experience I have now went and bought another camera to replace that one out of the 10 cameras that's in and out of my house this was the worst one to buy and the subscription has the nerve to be high as hell to be doing nothing

After paying for an annual subscription, it has reverted to asking for an annual subscription of £99 for a year. It appears that after paying an initial £30, it reverts back to a "free" version.
Avoid this camera.

Purchased in August , really liked the camera. Worked great until second time charging battery (2 months) it died. Contacted service and was told they would send out replacement. I have not received and now emails keep asking for more info. Very bad customers and communication.

Contacted tgem as it clearly states to do this if any issues and they "will replace product" After numerous emails back and forth fully explaining the failure of their unit I was advised to take it up with wherever I had purchased it. The site I did this from no longer operates but CAMTRO were NOT interested. Defo pay more money and buy/deal with better product/company.

This doorbell camera is completely garbage. It does not deserve any star

1 *is far too generous, they say absolutely NO subscription. However the only way to see/retrieve your doorbell recordings is to SUBSCRIBE on the website, attempt to view footage and it instantly goes to subscribe page.
Nowt good to report about them . Deleted app. Sent item back to Amazon, who are fine so far with refund. Tip -keep all packaging as no doubt you will have to return their cheap crap tech.!!

I got my camtro as a gift haven't had any problems with it software could be a lot better but for how I use it it's perfect dose it need some upgrades yes, a better portal maybe some better communication only say that because of the reviews I've read but I have yet to have needed to make a complaint of any kind. I sort of feel like I got the only good one but🤷🏿

You cannot get a hold of anybody for any support! They have a chat, which is nothing but an AI back-and-forth conversation that does absolutely nothing! I purchased two camera cameras off of TikTok, I put a subscription on one at the cost of $30. That camera broke. There is no way to get a hold of anybody to try to transfer that subscription to the working camera. I am giving up on this company and I am going to ask for a reversal from my bank for this charge. I highly suggest you do not use this company. I have purchased a different camera off of Amazon. This is not due to TikTok’s purchase as I have had very good results from other companies. This company sucks.

My door bell motion detection keeps going off, after doing everything they have asked of me it still does it, they have said they will send me a replacement but haven’t. Every time I’m asking they are fobbing me off, their portal says “under review” even tho it’s proven faulty.
Their device ranks alongside their horrendous customer service.
DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY

Informed them that the DOORBELL and it’s indoor repeater was USELESS for a DEAF person, I do not hear anything, VERY poor SOFTWARE to say the least, so be warned on this, they DID NOT RESPOND which is usual.

We are now changing to a Proper Company with good DOORBELLS.

I bought one of the door bell cameras and a years subscription £29.99, it worked for about a week, emailed them and they replaced straight away, same problem stopped working so contacted them for a refund of the doorbell cost and subscription, all I have had is emails asking for information, WONT TELL Me WHAT INFORMATION just keep getting the same email back maybe 20 now, they are an absolute joke to deal with, pay a little more for your doorbell it’s definitely worth it, all I can say is KEEP CLEAR OF CAMTRO

Within two months of purchasing this ring doorbell (FCC ID 2BR3K-DOORBELL-M52 the battery malfunctioned. Camtro confirmed through the APP that this was the case on 9th July 2026. Their Quick Start Guide states: If your device isn't working, can't connect to the Wi-Fi, or has any major issue, just email us your name, phone number, and address. We'll send you a free REPLACEMENT right away. After several dozen emails, it is clear they WILL NOT HONOUR THIS AGREEMENT. We wish to advise customers to avoid purchasing from this company.
