About Browne’s Boot Camp Browne’s Boot Camp was founded in May 2011 by personal trainer Angus Browne, with a simple mission – to help people get fitter, healthier and happier through fun, outdoor training. Starting in a local park in Leigh-on-Sea, Essex, Angus created a welcoming environment where people of all ages and abilities could exercise in the fresh air, away from the pressures and limitations of a traditional gym. The focus was (and still is) on making fitness enjoyable, accessible and social – bringing together like-minded people who want to improve their health and lifestyle. What began as a small community group has grown steadily, with sessions expanding across Essex and continuing to develop further. At Browne’s Boot Camp, you can expect professional coaching, varied and effective workouts, and a friendly, supportive atmosphere that motivates you to push yourself and achieve your goals. Brilliant
I have been training with Angus for a year and find him encouraging and friendly but also incredibly knowledgable. When I first starting training with him I was overweight and terribly unfit - he has help me change that! I suffer with back problems and he knows exactly how to get me to exercise in ways that do not hurt my back but actually help it - he occasionally gives me a sports massage too!
I would recommend Brownes Bootcamp to anyone. It doesn't matter your fitness or your age, you can do it with Angus's encouragement. I was nervous before I went for the first time a year ago, and now I'm so so pleased that I went! Fantastic value for money too & so nice to work out outside.

Brilliant sessions with excellent trainers!
The sessions are always great with a variety of different routines and excercised through out! The trainers are motivating and the hour goes by really quickly!

Couldn't imagine life without boot camp now!
I've been training with Brownes Boot Camp for almost 3 years now, first with Angus in Leigh and now with Jack in Colchester. I didn't think it was my sort of thing before I started but I loved it from my first session. It's great to exercise outside in the fresh air, even when it's cold and/or raining! Also group training brings out your competitiveness and makes you push yourself harder. Both guys are fantastic trainers, pushing you to your limits in a friendly and motivating way. The sessions are varied and always fun. Brownes Boot Camp has changed my attitude to exercise, introduced me to new things and helped to increase my fitness level. Recommended without hesitation.

Achieving goals beyond your expectation
Angus has been my personal training instructor for over 5 years; he always provides a challenging, varied and [usually] exhausting session that has enabled me to improve and maintain my level of health and fitness. These sessions gave me the confidence to undertake and complete the London Marathon in a time of 4:03 - not a bad debut for someone in their early 50's.

My 6 year old grandaughter goes to brownes boot camp when she can. Angus is great with the kids. I cant recommend it enough. Keep up the good work angus

Far better than I had expected!
I have trained with Angus Browne on several occasions and have always been most impressed. Not only with his varied and fun techniques, but also his completely professional approach. Angus has a very good knack of pushing you to work for maximum benefits, whilst very being encouraging and positive. I always found if there was an element of his training that I just couldn't do, it was not a problem as Angus would soon find an alternative. Clearly, Angus is very committed to his work and it shows. I wish him success.
