Boxengasse Arvostelua 2

Awful queues to get into Megaphonics event; over an hour long ranging from 11:30 through 13:30 at which point I gave up and went home. I didn't go for a few years following a terrible queuing experience and thought they had resolved it but this was way worse. They charge a premium price, based on the cars they get in, but should be able to manage traffic. Zero apologies, no way to phone to request a refund. Awful.

Boxengasse/ Frank - leverage the Bicester Village overflow parking and have coaches shuttling to your site of you cannot come up with any other options. It is a lovely space and great cars but this is ridiculous.

The event opened up at 6pm, with instructions not to arrive early. Left our hotel 10 mins before 6 to travel the 4 miles.
Joined the queues and eventually parked up at the venue at 6:45pm.
We queued for another 45 mins for food, which had already ran out of certain items, then another 30 mins queue for a warm beer, by this time it was past 8pm and some of the Porsche exhibits were driving home.
I felt sorry for some of the visitors I spoke to who had driven from Somerset and Yorkshire and were driving straight back after the event.

Waste of time, spent two hours queuing and overall a huge disappointment. With the event only 3.5 hours long and with apparently 2000 tickets pre-sold, it was clear the car parking and catering could not cope with the volume of cars and people.
Fortunately we stayed locally at the Western Manor Hotel, so we cut our loses and left early to avoid, yes the queues getting out, and went and had cold drinks in the beautiful gardens at the hotel…
Gave it a generous two stars only because the summer evening weather was awesome!
