The Bike Shed Arvostelua

Pleased with the cycle helmet. Easy online ordering and collected on the day I specified with no problems.

Supplied a clearly used ex-demo bike instead of a new one bought online for full price. Ignored my emails. Pretty shabby experience.

I recently bought a giant stance for my son. The service was excellent. On collecting the bike they took the time to set it up for my son. Talking him though each step and also how to maintain the bike.

Excellent service by knowledgeable and friendly staff

I have given 5 stars because, because they did what retailers are supposed to. They were help full, they answered my enquires promptly and the product was very good. What more can I say!

Great service and advice too!
Would thoroughly recommend this to both new and experienced cyclists.

First time dealing with this business having moved to the area recently. Mot was arranged quickly, and when I had to go to London on the day of the mot they were very happy to let me leave the bike inside the night before. Being a Rocket iii Touring its a big unit and they managed to rearrange the workshop to accommodate it. 👍

EDIT. It is a The Bike Shed Waterlooville that I was referring to so my error 😎,

The Bikeshed had what I wanted in stock.
The Bikeshed delivered as described.
The Bikeshed are a great company to deal.
Would recommend.

I recently purchased a higher end bike and was amazed at the standard of service. The cycle arrived almost fully built and fully set up.
I'm intending to purchase an e-bike in the very near future and this will be my first call.

Ordering process easy. Bike delivered quickly and easy to assemble! Great service would highly recommend

I want to express my appreciation to Martin and colleague at The Bike Shed, Crediton, when they came to my assistance on Friday, Dec 19th.
My tyres were under-inflated for the ride on the A377 to Eggesford and back that I was embarking upon, and Martin helpfully used his pump to make my tyres rock hard, and to save my 26-mile timed training
ride which was successfully completed in ideal Christmas-time conditions. As it was my biggest ride
since recovering from a major cancer operation in December 2024, it was a significant occasion for me.
I had used my hand-pump when setting out, but it had proved ineffective on this occasion, unfortunately.
I bought my cycle, a Specialized Sirrus, from
The Bike Shed, Crediton, in August 2017, and I've been highly satisfied with it.
As I don't want to be caught out like this again,
I will be buying a new floor cycle pump from this branch very shortly!

The delivery was punctual, and communication regarding the shipment was excellent. The products arrived in perfect condition.

Very happy with the service, delivery and communication. Called a coupe for times and was easy to get a real person to talk to on both occasions and both times very pleasant and helpful.
Only one thing to mention, I purchased peddles as it was not mentioned online that peddles were included and received two pairs of peddles. I should have clarified! But website says no peddles unless stated they are included!

Fab service in the Exeter shop today! Friend needed a secure lock for mobility scooter- person serving us went above and beyond to ensure friend could work lock with their arthritic hands before we purchased it! Excellent service! Thank you ! Made our day!

Fast, efficient & professional service.
Thank you

Wrong size item turned up In error, Seth went out of his way to to get the item corrected! Highly recommend

We bought a Whyte Elyte Evo RS from here and they went above and beyond for us delivering to our holiday destination setup tubeless with friendly updates throughout. The bike was a fantastic price and after straightening the bars, attaching the front wheel and adding pedals we were good to go. Even the delivery driver was ace helping us inside with the bike. Thanks to Seth and everyone else who sorted this for us.

First time using the bike shed and can't fault them at all, there was an issue which they sorted out immediately, the communication was excellent and I thoroughly recommend them.

Loved their promptness in processing my order and shipping it quickly. Would definitely come back, highly recommend.
