The Bike Shed Arvostelua

I decided to cycle to Powerdham castle last night for a concert solo. As I was going over a bridge my whole gear went into my spoke and I was completely stuck. (It is a 3 hour walk) A wonderful man from the Bike Shed stopped to ask if i needed help and he didn’t hesitate. He fixed my bike there and then and I am forever grateful. It got me there and back. I think he said his name was Bill. Thank you for saving me!

Very pleased with the service I receive from the bike shed.Friendly welcoming staff always helpful and offer genuine advice when asked.
Always competitive with price.
Very impressed with all of the staff from my local branch (Crediton)
I’ve recently had a custom bike built and a renovation bike project done. I am most impressed by the attention to detail that Martin has achieved with both of these builds.
Much appreciated the fact that my bike builds were done within my budget.

I wouldn’t hesitate to use them again.

Easy transaction and voucher pick up in Exeter

I needed the right tyre and brought stuff on bike shed before and they had my tyre in stock so I brought it online.

Bike was not a good fit for my son but will be charged £80 for return which seems very high relative to cost of the bike..

Great services and communication

We bought a Veloe Multi cargo bike from the Bike Shed and the experience was great. Really friendly and helpful service, including organising courier delivery across the country for what is quite a hefty bike. Couldn't be happier with the bike or the help received.

Martin, the mechanic goes above and beyond to find good solutions to any problems or faults with your bike. He has recently repaired and rejuvenated two very different bikes of mine and i have been very pleased with the result!

Purchased a Qube road bike from the Honiton road branch in Exeter, customer service was first class, all questions answered and my purchase was ready for collection in 20 minutes.
The sales assistant was superb and all in all a good all round experience.
Would totally recommend Bike shed. Thank you.

Great service. Well priced bikes.
Speedy delivery of ebike to Highlands and Islands.

Bike was delivered quickly and nicely packed with simple set up. Unfortunately the bike computer arrived damaged but they replaced this with out hesitation. It was not the fault of the bike shop and these things can unfortunately happen in transit. The main thing is that the communication was spot on and the bike is great!

Fantastic retailer!

Actually got my order right and sent exactly what I wanted in the correct size and colour.

Had some really bad experiences with OTHER big name bike shops but these guys are fantastic and have great communication.
Big shout to Seth at Devon!

THANK YOU!!

Ordered a fox lunar bike helmet which came through the post super fast and it came really nicely packed and wrapped up.

Great bike shop will defo be using again!

Can’t recommend Ned enough for all bike repairs & advice.

Very accommodating, helpful and quick turnaround when carrying out repairs. Reasonable & clear pricing as well!!!

Thanks Ned for your passion with bicycles ;)

Contacted the Bike Shed in Exeter city centre to arrange a bike fitting with my Cube Kathmandu hybrid pro. I spoke initially with Bill who clearly had extensive knowledge and training in all things cycling. We discussed my requirements and Bill was able to offer his opinion on the way forward.
I spent 3 hrs at the store a short time later with Bill. His enthusiasm was fantastic. He was engaging, completely professional and nothing was too much trouble. His level of knowledge was outstanding and during my visit he identified a number of issues not only with the bike but also my riding position.
The bike is now a perfect fit for me. Many thanks to Andy too who was on hand to provide additional mechanical advice.
The equipment available to Bill to fine tune rider to bike is of a very high quality and combined with his knowledge and skill you certainly won’t regret the time spent. . This was without doubt the best experience and if you are considering a bike fit then look no further. Huge thanks to the Bike shed ( and Bill especially) for putting me on the right course. 🤙

I was so happy about great provided service after we ordered wrong sized abus urban 3.0 helmet. Received replacement helmet in no time after send back first and very friendly service over the phone on this. Thank you bike shed. Top class experience, greetings Joerg

was at the exeter store (fore street) to buy a full suss bike for my grandson (21) Bill was to hand and as this was for the first full suss in the family so we needed some expert advise, and in Bill we got it. Bill was so helpful and his knowledge was amazing. He set up the bike for a test ride and then for a presale service and inspection. the bike was nice anyway but Bill was helpful, friendly and professional. Bill sold this bike with no incentive (monetary) to do so. he just loves his job and it comes across when interacting with any one who needs a bit of help. BRILLIANT……

Chris and the team at The Bike Shed in Barnstaple are absolute diamonds! I popped in to buy a new bike and the service was top-notch.
I was ready to drop some bees and honey (money) on a quality bike, and Chris sorted me out with a proper beauty. No pony (nonsense) or pushy sales, just a bunch of geezers who really know their onions and helped me find the perfect ride.
It’s easily the dog’s dinner (the best) shop in town. If you’re looking for a new bicycle, get yourself down there and have a butcher's (look). Five stars, simple as!"

Great bike delivered to home address as ordered.

Great order, from deciding to delivery it took just a few days and that was through cycle to work.
Very well packed. Great comms. Delighted with my Cube e-bike
