The 2022 alignment job I had done in Boise Idaho "where I live" prior to a road trip caused two good tires to be ruined and my front new brakes ruined as well due to vibration! To make matters worse the Big O shop I went to in Arizona for help refused to service the warranted alignment. The Manager demanded I buy two more new tires so I could just ruin them as well! I Left the circus act went to a real front end shop "Greulich's" whom told me it was badly aligned, like the worst! I Drove home with soo much loss$$$, never again!

Took truck in for inspection they said serpentine belt on drivetrain was cracked and needed replaced I asked how much they said $220 something dollars The part is $50 labor at another mechanic shop was $60 I paid $110 versus 220 plus tax Big o is nothing but a rip-off shady work shady prices shady people....

the Big O Tires on Cedar Bluff in Knoxville is truly the best. very professional, friendly and honest. I have all my car work done there. I recently had a small repair fixed, and they did it for no charge.

Job was handled fast and efficiently.

The guy running the desk was wonderful, really helpful and patient with me and everyone i saw come in. Went above and behind what the job pays him for by cleaning up customers vomit and taking unreasonable customers into account. Great service and team put exactly the tires i wanted on well balanced and assisted me with a bent wheel more than they had to. Was super willing to help and get parts even despite a couple set backs, they follwed up and called me within a week before i had to leave. Great team great service thank you Esurack! Aswell as the whole team at big o tires.

30,000 miles ago @mfaoil owned @bigotires of @OsageBeachMO replaced my front end upper and lower ball joints with Moog chassis parts I provided and are sold at local @oreillyauto @autozone @advanceauto and @theNAPAnetwork… During my state inspection from @bigotires of @CityofLakeOzark my lower ball joints were found to be defective after just 30,000 miles… When I looked to see why, I discovered the boots (dust covers) were never installed and the ball joints were never greased from three subsequent visits/requests… I called corporate and explained but no one at @bigotires seems to care about customers driving around on defective ball joints… I am preparing photos for release later today!

So my son checked the oil that Big O tires said they changed but it is bone dry. My oil never was changed . I was wondering why it was saying it was a 50% so I asked my son the check it. I am not happy at all with the service I received from the Hill view Big O tires and being charged for services I did not receive+I paid for 4tires and was not told my one rim was cracked so they didn't put on the tire and let my pay and drive off without my fourth tire being replaced and paid for. The man at the counter said no one told you about the cracked rim , NO they did not. I am so frustrated about this experience. I ve been driving my car with no oil I. It that was so called changed and PAID FOR Hillview Big O Tires ,!!!!

I took my F150 to have my AC repaired. After already charging me $475 for repairs, it would stop working after a day. Then they decided there were metal shavings in my system and everything needed to be replaced. It took them under two hours to complete the repair, but they billed me for 9 hours of labor at $155/hour! Total rip off. The only good news is that it’s still working after two week. avoid Big O for AC repairs. You can definitely get it done for far less than the $2000 they charged me. It’s so unethical.

Place on 1st street in Santa Ana. Come in at 3pm. Bad strut under warranty. Wanted to wait. Was told wait time - 2 hrs. Asked if I'm waiting when is best time to come. Was told 7AM right at opening. Come at 7 next day. Wait time 2 hrs again. Offered to give me a ride home - nice of them. 5 hrs later - no updates. Called in - they didn't find a problem so they're ready to put the wheels back on. Had to explain how to find the problem (already did in the morning). 2 more hrs pass. Called in - they don't have the part and it'll be there in the morning. Morning comes - no updates. Call in at 1PM - car is almost ready, just doing alignment. Texted me that car is ready. Alignment seems OK, but my steering wheel needs to have "H" in the middle to be pointed to 11 o'clock position for the car to go straight. Usually it points to 12. So if you want to be without car for 2 days - go ahead and use Big O. Maybe they're faster with tires, but I wouldn't trust them with anything else. Even an alignment seems to be a difficult task. Maybe they should close this location for lack of expertise? Why not tell me they need to order the part and have me bring the car the next day when they have it? Calling to update me on the status would be a nice touch as well. Nice touch isn't something this Big O has. Spoils it for other locations as well - Big O dropped to bottom on my list of places I'll take my car to.

READ THE FINE PRINT - When you give permission to "work on your vehicle", you are really agreeing to a 3% credit card fee. Since virtually NO ONE pays cash for tires this company is little more than thieves. They don't print the CC charge on the invoice, so it is pretty apparent they are trying to slip it by the consumer. Also charged almost $60 for "shop supplies" - that's outrageous for a couple of rags. GO ELSEWHERE.

I had an appointment for tire installation. Employee viewed my vehicle from the counter (never went outside) and said that they would not do the installation because my vehicle had lowered suspension. I advised them that the car had been on a lift many times before with zero problems. They still refused. I offered to remove the wheels myself with a floor jack in the parking lot/in the garage-- as I have done at home many times before. They did not measure, inspect, check, or attempt to see if my vehicle could be placed on the lift-- just straight out refused. No other options were suggested or offered. I asked them what they intended to do with the new tires that I special ordered. They offered no suggestions or options. I then told them that I would like to complete my purchase and take the tires with me. I stuffed the tires in the back seat of my car and promptly went to a competing tire shop. As I tried to explain to your staff, my car went on the competitor's lift with zero problems or special preparations. The tires were installed with no extra effort or problem. But it cost me an extra $200 and 4 hours of time since I had no appointment at the other place.

When a donation is made for a service and missed by a few days it's a shame that the staff could not honor it still.

Had my '17 Hyundai Elantra serviced at the Shepherdsville, KY location on December 22, at this Big O Tire and one of their technicians got oil on my headliner. The manager, Adam, had his tech clean my headliner. He scrubbed it so hard that it ruined it. I spoke to the Adam and told him they need to come up with a solution to remedy this situation. He took pics and said he would see what he could do. Upon calling him back, he said he could refer me to Derby City Upholstery, Gary Clark, and he assured me he would do a good job. I am told it cost $500 to replace my headliner. I went to Derby City Upholstery in January 23 because I trusted that they would not refer me to a bad company, but also I wanted this to be an easy solution without any difficulty. It was a nightmare from the beginning. The headliner looked lumpy upon install but Gary said that would smooth out over time, it did not. He did not re-install 2 of the small headliner lights properly, one he did not re-connect the wires to it. Gary came out to my job 3 times to do repairs on his work, but he stood me up 6 previous times, no calls/texts. Now the headliner is coming unglued/falling down. Gary has been difficult to deal with all these months, he over promised & under delivered. A year warranty came with the headliner, but Gary refused to honor it.. Even if he did, I DO NOT want him touching my car ever again! Gary also damaged the roof of my car from the inside so I have 2 small dents that were not there before that you can clearly see was came from the inside that must have been caused from a tool he was used.

Big O Tire referred me to this Upholstery company, and they are liable for the problems I have encountered as I would never have gone here had they not referred me. I am a single mom who does not have time for all of the grief and stress this has caused me. I contacted the manager Adam about all of this and was told they are not willing to do anything else for me.

I was charged 507$ on a 417$ quoted price.102$ to mount and balance 2 tires 6 Dollars disposal fee witch I expected. Then 52 Dollar disposal fee. There wasn't anything to dispose of so I consider that a fraudulent fee. So I will be taking my business elsewhere. Danny

We wanted to share a thankful story about our experience with Big O Tire in Lincoln Way, Cheyenne, WY. We were on our way back home from Washington, DC to Utah when our tire had some major issue. We pulled over to this location and the staff immediately took us in and helped us with our tire. I must say Big O Tire employees, staff and store manager are the best people in any tire shop in the country. They truly help people in times of need, and they make you feel not just a customer but part of their family. We are very grateful and thankful to the store manager Treall, Justin and all staffs of the Cheyenne Lincoln Way Location in Cheyenne, WY. Keep up the great work, you have customers for life, me my kids, my grandkids, and extended families. God Bless you all.

My wife took her Toyota RAV 4 to your S. Mason Street, Fort Collins, CO store yesterday afternoon (Friday, 8/4/23). Since the attitude at Discount Tire is definitely NOT what it used to be, and since she could get the Hankook tires she wanted at your store within a day, I suggested she go to your Big O store. When she came home, she complained about the driver's side arm rest needing to be cleaned. I went out and looked at the arm rest which had what appeared to be black grease pretty much all over it! The interior of the car is light tan; so don't tell me someone didn't see this mess! Why didn't that person wash up before getting into a customer's car with that stuff on them? Fortunately, I had some Toyota Fabric Cleaner; and even with that it still took a while to clean up the mess! Then there's the $27 plus charge for "shop supplies". Like what? What supplies did you use for this amount of money? Is this the latest "industry hustle" to run up the price? This quality of work is BEYOND UNACCEPTABLE!! This quality is something I would have expected had the car been taken for work to some feed lot out east of here!! Sid Cooley

I have used Big O Tires for oil changes on occasion, but bought my Cooper AT3, and my Cross climates they mounted balanced, and done our alignments all at the Farragut Tn location. Many times over the past year, our first year in Tn. Been treated with nothing but respect and the jobs been done rite.

Living out west, we have had Big O tires for many years. We recently moved to Minnesota and made sure we had brand new Big O tires since MN had Big Os. They recently closed all their MN stores without notice. In fact, we actually received an ad in the mail AFTER our local store here closed WITHOUT NOTICE. I called their warranty department today and was told that tire rotations or any other kind of normal tire service would not be honored, and that if we had a road hazard it was us to us to find someone who would work with their warranty. When we purchased their tires, the envelope said, "This envelope is also a HANDSHAKE. Big O Tires - the team you trust."
They need to add to that "When it is convenient"
Be assured, even if Big O starts up business again in MN, we will no longer be purchasing tires with them, knowing that at any time they could just pull up roots and leave without honoring their commitments.

Don’t use Big O on boulder highway in Henderson, NV! Extremely unethical! Got a quote on a set of tires and ordered. On the way home, I had that; “I’m getting ripped off!” feeling. Went to Big O on gidson and 215 for another quote. They quoted me $500 less!!! I thought HMMM! I hate unethical practices! Went to discount tire and was quoted $750 less than the first Big O. I then went to the boulder Big O for a refund… I got charged nearly $454 for restocking. They didn’t even have the tires on the premises; so what are they restocking??? After that I went back to the Gibson Big O. Talked to them and was told they don’t have to do that charge. I’m a 100% rated disabled veteran; I wrote a review and was contacted by regional manager. He did nothing! In spite of knowing everything in this rating. Moral of the story: “Stay away from Big O!!! Go to Discount Tire: They are always fair and honest! Wish I could get my money back! Boulder Big O quote: $2279.58… Discount Tire quote accepted: $1399.48… Same exact tires!
