We were shown a car valued in excess of £17000 that had clearly not had any checks undertaken on its condition. Rear leather seats ripped and repaired with black tape, rear wheel arch protectin literally fell off. Frankly a complete waste of time.

I will not recommend big motoring…
I will not recommend big motoring world to any body, I bought a Qushai January 2026, was promised car in perfect condition with 3 months guarantee with the 3 months amber light started showing on dashboard l contacted them l was asked to take it to a local garage which l did and the problem was diagnosed , they booked another garage for me to take the car which l did the garage diagnosed the same problem, they came up with another excuse that I should take the car back to my local garage to find out what happened to the Assistance system (ADAS) which all the garages l invisited adviced is not possible to it after diagnoses. I told them to arrange a garage so I can take the car for whatever they want they refused. They will try everything to push away from doing the repair they promised which is unfair. Am now left stranded to repair my car.

Disappointed with after-sales service
Disappointed with after-sales service. Purchased a car recently and raised an issue with the wipers which are streaking and not clearing properly. Was told they are not an MOT failure so nothing can be done, which I don't feel addresses the issue.
Also had confusion over the 14-day cooling-off period explained at point of sale - I understood it applied to the car, but was later told in writing it only applies to add-on products or the finance agreement. The company did apologise that this was not communicated clearly.
Car itself is okay but the communication and after-sales support has been disappointing.
My advice to future buyers: Be very careful before paying extra for their additional services and warranties. What is promised at the desk did not match the support I received afterwards. Get everything they promise in writing and don't rely on verbal assurances.

Absolutely disgraceful service
Absolutely disgraceful service, waiting around over three hours then the car hadn’t been prepared. I don’t know how the two hundred point check can be done when no one knows what’s going on in other departments. Very easy for salespeople to promise the earth but the reality of it actually happening is very different. Will never go there again.

Don't fall for hard sale on the Warranty
Great service and communication from the staff and happy with the price of the car, no problem there.
Given hard sale on the 3 year warranty and in sales persons words 'all singing all dancing'. However, it's not worth the space it's written on. Independent BMW technician confirmed failing Steering Box, which shouldn't be the case at 44,000 miles.
Guess what, Big Assist Warranties 2000 say not covered as 'Wear and Tear'.

Very disappointing experience
Very disappointing experience — please be careful with finance
I bought a car from Big Motoring World and went into the purchase intending to pay for it outright, as I already had the money available.
During the sales process, however, I was persuaded by the salesman to take out finance. I did not need finance and, based on what I was told and how the finance was presented to me, I believed I was making a sensible financial decision.
I have since discovered that taking the finance has left me approximately £3,500 worse off. I feel that I was misled during the sales process and that I was not given a clear understanding of the financial consequences of taking the finance.
I am now making a formal complaint to Big Motoring World about what happened and am seeking to have the matter properly investigated.
I am leaving this review because I would not want another customer to find themselves in the same position. If you are considering buying a car from Big Motoring World, particularly using finance, make sure you fully understand the agreement, the total cost and any financial consequences before signing anything.
This review reflects my personal experience and the financial loss I believe resulted from the way the finance was presented to me.

Scammers. Avoid if you have a tight budget.
I will never come back to this place. The sales staff, even though pleasant and professional, spent 5 hours trying to sell me an overpriced vehicle that had visible damage and a missing second key. What I despised the most was their method of calculating the monthly cost; I don’t remember exactly how they did it but rather than being transparent and honest, they would calculate the PCP / HP cost in such an odd way, excluding interest and other expenses, to make it look cheaper. It was these attempts of psychological manipulation that disgusted me. And because I am female, and I was getting confused, they would patronise a little, causing me to be too embarrassed to ask for clarification. These guys are scam artists and they do it very well.

Miran was approachable, polite and very helpful throughout. Lucas, who handed the keys over to us at the end, was excellent. He also helped us with the insurance and taxing of the car, which made the final part of the process much easier.
I would recommend Big Motoring World, but I would definitely advise anyone considering buying from them to do their research online first and compare everything carefully before making a decision.

They lied on their part exchange…
They lied on their part exchange valuation. They said my car was worth £25640 in showroom condition. It was IN a show room two weeks ago. It is in PERFECT condition. After I schlepped all the way over to the Wimbledon branch I was 1st offered £22000 after the salesman had fed the details into Webuyanycar.com then once someone had actually deigned to look at the car they came back with £23,500.
The car is faultless and you're a bunch of con artists. Their salesman's hapless excuse? "Everyone does it". Well I know not to bother with Big Motoring World any more. Strap line? "We're only as dishonest as everyone else". Great

Very poor from Big Motoring World, Misleading Advertising
Very poor from Big Motoring World. Mum paid,£129 to move a car to this branch to view and the car had a terrible smell of cigarettes all of which was not disclosed on the advert of the car. Again the car had only one key and no V5 and this was also not disclosed on the advert. Felt it was money down the drain, as simple honest advertising could have prevented the expense. Both the branch and their head office wringed their hands and said nothing could be done about the money spent and refused to take responsibility for poor and misleading advertisement. This is not how a large company like this should be treating customers in this day and age. I bought my car from this company 4 years ago and this is why I had my family look to buy from them. The sales executive who we dealt with was very professional and helpful but the management handled this issue appallingly. Buyer Beware...
