Big Motoring World - Leeds Arvostelua 

I had a great experience at Big Motoring World Leeds. There were no high pressure sales and I was free to look at and test drive any cars I wished. Sid was extremely helpful as was Matthew who sorted the finance and car tax out for me.
I got a fantastic deal on a low mileage vehicle and they threw in a 3 year extended warranty at a very reasonable price. I was slightly cautious of Big Motoring World given some of their other TrustPilot reviews, but I have to say, they don’t reflect my experience at all and the extra warranty gave me more peace of mind.
Just a few minor criticisms - even if you’ve booked in an appointment or test drive in advance, be prepared to wait around a lot. For some reason there was lots of back and forth to an office with glass walls that had a lot of people stood around talking in it. Could’ve been legit but it looked very odd and was a tad frustrating, it resulted it me waiting around a fair bit, so knocked a star off for that. The team were very open and honest that they earn commission from the finance and additional warranties. Some of these are genuinely helpful and I opted for the extended warranty which was very reasonable, but don’t be afraid to say no to the extras if you don’t want them.
Also the test drive was only about 10 minutes long around a roundabout and back. Could’ve been a bit longer to get more of a feel for the car.
Overall, very happy with the service I received and the car that I got. I would recommend Big Motoring World and would happily return in the future.

We bought a car from these back in Jan....Had to pay for extra work on the car. From brakea being below 1mm from the day we bought it!. Tyre problems now the air con! Seriously guys dont waste your money here. Waiting on a report back from the garage next step will be the ombudsman... Left a previous review on her when we intially bought the car....You get an automated reply back saying contact the branch....Done all that they dont want to know ..Nothing but cowboys!!

Jack had excellent customer service, he listened to what I wanted and was personable but remained professional.

Excellent customer service from Charlotte Meekcoms, Senior Customer Support Advisor, with regards to a warranty claim. Was kept updated regularly with clear communications and the process for getting our car fixed was hassle free. Charlotte is a real credit to your company. Well done.

Milo our sales advisor was fantastic and we even bought two cars ! Not just one!
Free drinks whilst you wait was an added bonus ! Staff are really friendly.

I rarely leave negative reviews, but the way I was treated at Big Motoring World deserves to be highlighted.
I visited with the intention of buying a car and spent over an hour at the dealership. I test drove the vehicle, discussed the optional extras, breakdown cover and warranty packages, and agreed to purchase the car at the full asking price. There was no haggling and no finance application needed as I was ready to pay in full.
After all of that, a sales manager called Paul approached me and informed me that the car had been reserved online around 20 minutes earlier and was no longer available. This was despite the fact that I had already been in the dealership for over an hour and had agreed to buy the vehicle before he came over.
What made the situation even worse was Paul's attitude. At no point did he apologise for what had happened. Not once. There was no acknowledgment of the time that had been wasted, no attempt to make things right, and no effort to show any understanding of why I was frustrated.
When I challenged the situation and questioned how a car could be reserved while I was actively purchasing it, I was simply told to leave.
The whole experience was unprofessional from start to finish. Spending over an hour going through the sales process only to be told the car is no longer available is bad enough, but the complete lack of apology and poor customer service was what really stood out.
Based on this experience I would not recommend Big Motoring World and certainly would not consider returning.

Absolutely appalling experience with Big Motoring World.
We visited to purchase a car and, after spending over an hour at the dealership, test driving the vehicle, discussing warranty options, breakdown cover and other extras, we agreed to buy the car at the full asking price and pay in full.
After we had effectively agreed the purchase, a sales manager called Paul came over and informed us that the car had been reserved online approximately 20 minutes earlier and was therefore no longer available. This was despite the fact that we had already been at the dealership, viewing and agreeing to purchase the vehicle, well before this supposed reservation was made.
When we questioned how this could happen and expressed our frustration, Paul's response was simply to ask us to leave the premises rather than try to resolve the situation or offer any reasonable explanation.
The whole experience felt extremely unprofessional and left us feeling that our custom was not valued. Given that we were paying outright rather than taking finance, we cannot help but wonder whether this played a part in how we were treated.
We left feeling completely disappointed after wasting a significant amount of time and would think very carefully before dealing with Big Motoring World again.

This is literally a review of the experience, not the people, the people were great.
We arrived at 11am for a BOOKED APPOINTMENT to pay for, and collect a car. The appointment didn't start until 1110, after we had sat and watched at least 10 people, and this is only our opinion, 'wandering around not doing a great deal'. We saw the nice gentleman who had helped us to order the car and have it transferred from another branch, but we were assigned a different advisor for this appointment. I wasn't having that as lovely Lee had done so much previously I didn't want him to lose his commission.
Then started the waiting! Waiting for the car to be brought in to the building, I would have quite happily viewed it outside! Then a wait for a set of trade plates to come back so we could test drive the car. Then a wait for a managers I pad to complete the paperwork. Then a wait because a manager came to do a 'hard sell' on the warranty we had declined. This REALLY REALLY annoyed us! Once we said no that should have been the end of it. Then a wait for a member of the finance team to take the payment. Then a wait again for a set of trade plates so the advisor could take us toma physical post office to tax the car as the branch didn't have the log book, so it couldn't be done online. Then a wait for someone to literally hand us the keys. After 10 minutes of waiting the final time I took matters in to my own hands and grabbed the next person I saw and practically demanded the keys so we could leave.
I know there are processes to follow, but 3 hours to.collect and pay for a car is LUDICROUS!!

The appointment was on time and the staff helpful.

The process was quite straightforward. The staff are very polite and helpful. The service of handover was very easy and would definitely recommend this company.

Shite aftersales service! Car had fault within 24hours of collecting. Still not fixed to this day! Always having to chase them for answers. Taking days off work to get diagnostics done! Always avoiding the questions that I ask! My advice is DO NOT BUY A CAR FROM THIS COMPANY!

Awful customer service. Very, very long waiting times and was quite deliberately misled on a couple of issues I had with my vehicle regarding recalls and servicing by the sales rep. The manager tried to resolve things for me to be fair to him but wouldn't go back again.

Avoid at all costs . Had my finance arranged paid to have a car we were interested in sent up the country . Recorded call was provided from our finance team to say the sale could go ahead travelled two hours there and back spoke to the team when we moved the car was told it was all good. Walked in very happy to be told by sales executive as he told us they won’t accept our finance with another company had to go through them . Finance department spoke to them and had the call confirming the sale can go ahead and the manger would not come out and speak to us as he was too busy. Was told the manager was too busy alone and did not want to speak to us. No escalation process. Now a company that lets a customer go through all this trouble won’t even come out to speak to the customer and let’s 14k walk out the door is not a company anyone wants to do business with. They may look good as you walk in with free milkshakes ect but avoid at all costs they do not care about the customers . Staff were sitting around smirking and it was very embarrassing . Very unprofessional . They wanted the finance commission . Service extremely bad by both salesman and non existent manager who could not be bothered to come out letting this all go on in the showroom . Even the finance team asked to speak to the manager and it was denied by the sales rep. Stating he was too busy and alone . Would also note their public toilets are extremely unsafe . Door opens onto forecourt where the door opens up onto as they drive down . Very dangerous especially if children use it . Leeds branch

On the whole a good experience, just a few quibbles about the valet not being complete, which was rectified, also a bit of a wait, but would come back again

Very easy car purchase from start to finish. Ibrahim was with us throughout the whole process and he really looked after us explaining everything in detail and making sure we were happy with everything we were being told. The process took a couple of hours from start to finish including trading in my old car. All paperwork including tax was there and then without any waiting around. A great car buying experience.

Buying the car was brilliant! Couldn’t fault! However the handover was terrible! Was kept waiting with no answers, should be a happy time collecting a new car but the handover over team was very miserable and not helpful one bit! Was disappointed as the back of my car hadn’t been cleaned… this is something you’d expect when collecting your new car

Very disappointing with the way the Leeds Big motoring World looked after me when buying my new car.
When i went for a test drive, i had to give them my driving licence for insurance purposes. The salesman took it away and forgot to give me it back.
I got home 20 miles away, realised i didn't have my licence and called the garage straight back. They said they would post it to me. 1 week later i still hadn't received my licence thru the post.
I went back to motoring world 7 days later to purchase the car i had test driven. I wanted to part exchange my car but they were £900 below what i was offered by another company, so had to sell my car then come back to pay outright for my new car.
The salesman kept disappearing leaving me on my own not telling me what was going on.
I asked him to find out if my licence was still on site, or if it had been posted, he and nobody else new what had happened to it.
The car had to go back 3 times to get valeted to a clean standard.
The lady in the handover section was very pleasant and courteous and helped with the taxing of the vehicle.
So now i have had to get in touch with GOV UK, and tell them my licence had been lost and needed a replacement. This i have done at my own cost.
Your cars are great, your reception team are very good but your sales team and after care needs improving

Booked a test drive for 13.00 today at the Leeds branch, left without seeing the car after having waited 1 hour!!
No update regarding when we would be attended to... there were numerous sales personnel present looking busy doing nothing.
What a totally unprofessional outfit... quite remarkable, obviously they are not very bothered about selling cars.
Well tough luck I bought a car from another dealer!!

Uwais was very knowledgeable and patient in how he took me through the process of test driving, selecting and finally buying my car. I was disappointed that the quote I obtained online at big motoring world for part exchanging my old vehicle wasn’t honoured- initially the price I was given on the day of exchange and purchase was 40% lower than quote yet my actual car wasn’t examined or looked at so I’m unsure why the quotes were so different. Eventually after some
Negotiation, we came to a price, which was above my top budget slightly, that included a 3 year warranty and brought the exchange value on my car back within sight of the original online quote.
I had heard that completing sales at this company was long and drawn out however I found it quite efficient- payment was quick and secure, the staff walked me through taxing the new vehicle and allowed me time to alter my insurance.
