The site is very well laid out, clean & tidy, the staff are very polite, knowledgeable, & helpfull. There were so many cars to choose from, all looking almost new. It's quite stressfull trying to decide which one is best, but they never tried to rush the process. 02/09/2026, Nick.

Update on after sales service none existent, my vehicle has been in the garage for last eight days, I have now been informed there are a few issues with it, none of which are covered by the warranty and it's going to cost me nearly £800 to have it repaired, I declined, , have been in touch with Big Motor world and have been asked to send reports to them and they will see if they can do anything to help me.
Also one of the issues I raised on my first review was the lack of concern for my safety,big motor World said they would like the opportunity to investigate this, don't know how they have investigated it cause I've not heard anything from them.

There is a great range of vehicles on site and no pushy salesmen/women.
You need your smart phone and available data as the details are on QR codes.
The purchasing & handover system is very proffessional.
Be prepared for a certain amount of waiting (does depend on what time you go) when going through the various stages, having said that the customer facilities are great.

Visited Big Trade World with not a clue what I wanted. The last car I purchased was 20 years ago. Met a fabulous sales rep called Jon, he was patient, enthusiastic about the cars but never pushy. A really great experience, test drove a couple of cars and made my decision. In the end I purchased a Tesla, so very different to my current car, but I’m really happy with my purchase and the whole experience. I would thoroughly recommend them. Tx

The most stressful experience I have ever had buying a car. To be told the finance was approved shown the figures and given an appointment to collect the car. Then on arrival to collect to be told a mistake had been made and it was now going to be an additional £150 per month. I had sold my car the night before so was now left without a car and a business trip to go on the next day. Was then told I could choose a different car to potentially drive away in on the same day. But no that never happened either. Collected the car the next day only to notice while driving it home there was a notification on the dashboard advising SOS system failure. Also tyre pressure light was on. Emailed when I got home to advise them and received an email back saying I would get a reply within 5 days. Absolutely awful customer service.

Really good experience. Drove down from Preston, was in the area and dropped in to see a vehicle. No appointments needed and vehicle was in a ready to go state. Said I would return the following day to purchase the car and asked for it to be charged fully.
No pressure to put a deposit or sign contracts there and then, Osman new I had another appointment and we parted.
Went back Saturday, the car was fully charged, we did a test drive and then we did the paperwork. There was a push for additional products (GAP, warranty etc) no more than any other sales place and once they were happy with my position the sale proceeded without the additional products. Couple hours of later I drove back to Preston in a new car with happy kids after all the free milkshakes they got from the staff.

Very disappointing and unprofessional treatment after purchasing a car. The JLR specialist garage confirmed that the necessary work required 5 hours of labour, and the invoice was around £1,200. Big Motoring World, however, reduced the approved labour time to just 2.7 hours without providing any explanation, and ultimately approved only £345.

I asked two or three times for an explanation as to why this decision had been made, but my questions were simply ignored. Many of my other emails were also ignored, and on several occasions I had to wait 10–14 days for a response.

What I found particularly disappointing was the way they spoke about the prices charged by JLR. I was told that JLR garages have “inflated” prices and was advised to look for a small, cheap local garage instead. We are talking about a 2021 Land Rover Discovery, a technically advanced premium vehicle, not a car where the priority should simply be finding the cheapest possible garage. I was also told that genuine parts were too expensive and was given a calculation based on cheaper aftermarket alternatives.

I consider this approach completely unprofessional and unfair. A company should not simply reduce the justified labour time without explanation, ignore a customer’s repeated requests for clarification, or encourage the owner of a premium vehicle to use the cheapest possible garage simply to reduce their costs.

This will be my last visit to Big Motoring World. Never again. The whole experience has been an absolute nightmare. After buying a premium vehicle, I expected professional customer service and a responsible approach. Unfortunately, my experience has been the complete opposite.

3 miles into driving the car away and parking up I can no longer get the car into gear to move it, it's been a hassle to get the car moved to the point I have had to take it upon myself to organise this !

Callum was very knowledgeable and tranparent to us, gave us time to think and browse other vehicles on site. It's just a shame that the vehicle we wanted is supplied with one key only otherwise we have proceeded withg the purchase.

Absolute nightmare company.

Immediately after collecting the car, I noticed a fault. However, once they had sold their product and received my money, it felt like they no longer cared about helping me resolve the issue.

Very disappointed with the way I was treated when I went back to explain the problem with the faulty car. Manager Jackie Bennett, GM, was very rude and dismissive.

IF YOU ARE THINKING OF BUYING A CAR FROM HERE, STOP, TAKE A BREATHER AND READ THIS.
buying a car is a big financial commitment, you may find the car of your dreams and purchase a car with no issues. The staff will do all they can for you in getting you to purchase the vehicle.
Once you have parted with your money and should you find an issue with the vehicle provided, all the staff who are able to deal with this will disappear and you will be thrust into the customer support system. Once in the system you will be I unable to speak to anyone who can make a decision or discuss the issue with you. Timescales are far too long and contact is minimal. Common sense and consumer rights are unfortunately disregarded completely.

Had a good experience here buying a 19 plate Ford Fiesta for my son. Booked a test drive and reserved the car online. Visited Cannock branch and were assisted by Jim who was great. The car sold itself, immaculate and low mileage. On the whole a fairly hassle free transaction. Took vehicle for a test drive but it was limited distance due to lack of fuel. Even though we were a cash buyer, salesperson still went through finance options. We drove away within 2-hours, good job there was a petrol station next door as only had 4 mile range on pick up!

Shocking brought a peugeot 3008 had a issue with the adblue after arguing for 2 weeks finally got it fixed so I thought just found out it's been bypassed dodgy solicitor now involved and the finance company

Absolute disgrace of a motor sales showroom. They wanted name. Email address and phone number before you could even go to look at the cars. There was no way I was going to do that and get phone calls after I had been there, so we were refused entry. Receptionist was rude. I have bought cars from Mercedes and Land Rover and have never had to do this.

Found the car I wanted , had a test drive , paid a deposit and went to collect 3 days later . There was a lot of confusion over the valuation, balance and RAC warranty to the point where I nearly asked for my deposit back as I felt under so much pressure , but the manager eventually offered a deal I was happy with. I did have to ask several times for a puncture repair kit as it was missing , there were no mats either .Faiaz in handover was very friendly and helpful, and apologised because it took so long to get the sale sorted , not that it was in any way his fault . He very efficiently sorted paperwork and taxed my car . It had 8 months MOT left on it but not serviced which I hadn’t realised till I arrived home . I queried it and was told that the 200 point check they do takes the place of a service , I checked with Nissan and have booked a service with them because of the manufacturer warranty , just something to be aware of

Very professional and friendly staff, very helpful and attentive . Only negative was the wait from paying for my car and waiting to change over documents ( not being kept formed, after 1/2 hour wait ) But a very good experience.
