Bensons For Beds - Craigleith Arvostelua

The staff were very helpful and not pushy. Answered our questions and gave suitable helpful advice.

I had not even gone into the shop with the intent of buying, I was window shopping. But the service from Josh was so good that I placed an order for a bed.

The young lady was very helpful, talked us through everything, had us try the bed with different firmness settings, showed us different mattresses, then left us to wonder round on our own until we decided, Hannah was very helpful

My daughter Hannah works here and showed me the tempur mattress. She told me all the benefits and I was instantly sold. Purchased the mattress back in February.
Delivery was super fast and even got recycling of old mattress and bed. Delivery team were fantastic. Couldn't have asked for a better experience.
Mattress is like sleeping on a cloud and I don't wake with an achy shoulder anymore.

Lovely cheerful young female assistant, very knowledgeable regarding mattresses, .

Great service, excellent selection of beds.

AARON WAS MOST HELPFUL AND KNOWLEDGEABLE OF THE BEDS INSTORE THAT HELPED ME MAKE MY CHOICE

We choose them for the best service overall

Helpful staff in store who recommended what we needed. I then ordered online a few months later - all very easy, quick delivery window and lovely delivery drivers. It took a little while to assemble the bed but the instructions were clear and we did it quite easily. My daughter is delighted with her new bed.

Brilliant in store service. I felt I was treated like an individual... After feeling fobbed off by an online agent.

From start to finish Aaron the shop assistant helped me with everything I needed to know so happy with the bed that I purchased

Knowledgeable and helpful sales people.
Particularly Gabriel and Josh.
Felt that they asked the right questions in order to understood my needs and therefor were able to provide an appropriate solution.

Hey there! So, my girlfriend and I went to Bensons and Beds in March to buy a mattress. We had a friendly guy named Josh helping us out, but he was a bit too friendly and chatty for our liking. We just wanted to buy a mattress and get out of there, not have a long conversation.

Anyway, we told him we had a budget of up to £300. He made me feel a bit embarrassed in front of my girlfriend and sold us a mattress for £650! That was way above our budget, but he put a lot of pressure on us to buy the more expensive one.

I was already starting to sweat because I knew I’d have to use credit cards. As we sat down at the desk to pay, I noticed the price going up on the computer.

I realised he had added a mattress protector for £40 and something else for £30, which was a kind of kit with sprays and stuff. We didn’t need that, so I told him I didn’t ask for it and asked him to remove it.

Something felt off, so I just paid the deposit (£150) and left. The next day, I went online and found that the same mattress was 20% cheaper! So, I called the store to pay the rest 2 days later and told Josh and the person on the phone that the same mattress was 20% cheaper online.

The person on the phone said they didn’t know if the price could be reduced or not and had to speak to the manager. I would have canceled the order if they wouldn’t apply the discount, but the employee called me back a few minutes later and said they had reduced the price, but the delivery date would be in April. No problem for us.

We went to the store to pick up a new receipt, and Hannah was absolutely lovely and helpful! I think she’s the employee of the month!!!!

So, that was my experience with Bensons and Beds. The mattress was delivered today, and the guys put it on the frame. Excellent delivery!

Cheers,
A couple from Edinburgh

Very helpful experience in store. We were given space to browse and chat about our needs and options while also given support and advice

Very professional, informative information and advice given by Josh. Perfect service. Thank you. 🌞

Hannah offered excellent service. She was very knowledgeable, very professional, and helped us arrive at the perfect mattress for us. Whole process was explained to us (so there were no surprises) and all-in-all seamless.

Great staff and very professional

Salesman really helpful, helped me choose a great bed for our usage.
Cost and quality good

Great experience in store at Craigleith, Edinburgh. Served by Josh the Assistant Manager who was knowledge and helpful, without being pushy. Really happy with the goods ordered and price paid.

Really good customer service. Pleasant staff, really informative, but no 'hard sell' which is a put -off.

I was able to get the bed I wanted, with the mattress I wanted, in just the right colour for the bedroom intended.

I could not, alas, take the benefit of your 12 months free interest credit, as your Finance Company would not apparently accept my application without me having a mobile 'phone! Extraordinary! I just paid in full in the shop.
