We have since had communication from the owner of Bemunchie after we indicated that we were proceeding to report our experience and concerns to Trading Standards for independent review.
On 22 September, the owner contacted us and offered to discuss a possible refund. We replied on 23 September, welcoming the opportunity to keep dialogue open and bring the matter to a conclusion. Unfortunately, despite that, the owner has again failed to come back to us.
In our experience, this has become a recurring issue — commitments and timescales are given, but then not followed through.
We would not recommend Bemunchie based on our experience.
We have lost thousands of pounds through work we considered to be of poor quality and have subsequently had to pay another developer to build our website.
As a small, family-run business operating on relatively tight margins, particularly in the current economic climate, these are losses we can ill afford. Beyond the financial loss, the amount of time and stress involved in trying to resolve matters has been considerable.
Based on our experience, we would strongly advise prospective customers to think carefully, read the available reviews about Bemunchie, understand exactly what is being promised, and ensure everything — including deliverables, deadlines and refund arrangements — is clearly documented before signing up.

I engaged Bemunchie Online on 11 December 2025 after speaking directly with their team, Co Founder, regarding a lead generation campaign for my care business.

I was assured the campaign would go live around early January 2026. Unfortunately, that never happened.

What followed was months of delays, repeated missed timelines, poor communication, and constant chasing from my side just to get basic updates.

I was repeatedly told things would be completed “by the end of the week” or that the campaign was almost ready to launch, yet by the end of February absolutely nothing meaningful had gone live despite nearly 3 months passing.

The landing pages produced were extremely disappointing considering the amount of time taken. The quality looked rushed, generic, and nowhere near the standard presented during the sales process. Simple amendments turned into endless back and forth with no clear accountability between staff members.

Communication became one of the biggest problems throughout the entire engagement. Most updates only came after repeated chasing by phone or email. Different people appeared to pass responsibility around internally, and at one stage I was even told emails had not been received despite us communicating through the exact same email chains for months.

Eventually I completely lost confidence in the company’s ability to deliver the project professionally and formally terminated the engagement due to non-delivery of services.

On 26 March 2026 I was informed by Bemunchie that my refund had supposedly already been processed in full. However, my bank later confirmed that no refund had actually been received or processed at that stage.

I then had to pursue a formal chargeback dispute through my bank which remained ongoing for weeks. The funds were only finally returned to my account on 13 May 2026, over 5 months after the original engagement started.

As a small business owner, the amount of time, stress, disruption, and uncertainty this caused was completely unnecessary.

Based on my personal experience, I would strongly advise other businesses to carry out serious due diligence before committing financially.

In addition no apologies was ever given, they have now started chasing me since I posted this review which is their expected response.

After using their SEO services, we noticed not just more traffic, but better quality traffic. The people visiting our site are actually interested in our services, which has improved our conversion rate.

I've contacted Bemunchie to get my website redesigned and help with making my business visible online. The team kept everything simple for me to understand as I deal with mortgages not technology.
