Chichester branch. Meet and greet rep very helpful.

Would have given zero if this had been possible.
My son is disabled unable to communicate or look after his financial affairs so it’s down to me.
Went to use ATM machine acted strange and it said out of order and ate the card. £100 had been taken from a NatWest machine ( not by us ) contacted NatWest advised to speak with Barclays in the mean time iv cancelled his card and ordered another card.
Spoke to Barclays approximately 1.5 hours been told that they need to speak to my son or he needs to go into a branch with two forms of ID.
Iv told them this is not possible as he doesn’t have any formal ID all letters are addressed to me with his name but that only makes me third party.
I felt like I was being cross examined being asked questions about my son’s disability and asked if they spoke slowly to him would this help!!
They could not have been more unhelpful if they tried.
Looks like I will have to take a day off work and drag my son to a Barclays branch ( most have closed down so may not be local) so they can all have a look at him .
This has caused so much stress and the amount of time I was put on hold was absolutely ridiculous.

Money was literally stolen from my account despite me not losing my card details anywhere. My card has never left my house and I haven't used it on any website - I use this account to transfer money between my own bank accounts.

Clearly Barclays lost my information and lied when confronted

Do not get a CREDIT CARD from this bank. I've been overcharged numerous times by them, the largest amount was $1755.42. I've cancelled my cards with them and have an ongoing investigation.
They will also accuse you of fraud and not believe who you are when you call them to fix the fake fraud.
Avoid them at ALL COSTS!!!

I went to the Barclays pod in Orpington and received superb service from Tina. She gave a lot of good advice and helped me to open a new savings account. I have used the pod several times now and it’s brilliant having the pod and its staff there.

An ongoing problem. Phoned weeks ago asking for a written explanation of why my tracker mortgage payments are going up when the base rate has been cut (4 times now - twice at that point). They didn't seem very interested and certainly could not explain it over the phone. Received a letter on a different matter from them and called Barclays. It took over 30 mins to get to speak to an operator. Having sorted the issue raised in their letter, I again tackled them about my mortgage payments going up after base rate falls. The operator took down the details and said she would refer them. I sat, waiting for her to come back and it was 20 mins when the line just cut. I tried to call back and - guess what - 70 minutes and counting. Barclays have no contact numbers for complaints, so I assume that they figure most people will give up if made to wait long enough. Of course, they have closed all of the branches that I used regularly,so I cannot visit them. How many billions are they saving by destroying their branch network and yet all they have is a trainee on a telephone who cannot keep up with the demand. Shame on you Barclays

Today I had two problems in my account that was dealt with very efficiently by Barclays employee Savita in the Edgware branch . I was seen to very quickly having no appointment arranged beforehand . Very good service Savita. Thank you.

AFTER AWEEK OR TWO CALLED AGAIN TO FIND NOTHING HAD BEEN ORDERED.NEW CARD ORDERED BUT ALL IN ALL LEFT ME A MONTH WITHOUT DEBIT CARD.
NEEDE A PAY IN BOOK, PHONED IN ASSURED IT HAD BEEN ORDERED.AFTER WAIT PHONED IN AGAIN AND NO RECORED OF ORDER. AFTER WAIT PHONED IN WITH SAME RESULT.PHONED IN TODAY
AS NO PAY IN BOOK TO BE TOLD NO RECORD OF 2ND REQUEST. THIS IS 3RD REQUEST AND TOLD IT WILL TAKE ABOUT 8 DAYS TO REACH ME.WE LIVEIN HOPE, MEANWHILE CHEQUES NOT PAID IN
NOT INTO APPS , IAM OF THAT AGE, AND NEAREST BRANCH 12 MILES AWAY COULD USE POST OFFICE IF HAD PAY IN BOOK!!!

Thieves at this bank 1009.17 has been taken from my account I'm disabled don't leave the house and I've to do all the printing and posting I've already had 90.00 taken and they've refused to pay me back even though they know its not me , I've had 5x 51.25 transactions all done on the same day same time not to mention all the other duplicated transactions that amount to over 1000 .
I'm been passed from pillow to post no apologies nothing left waiting and to be honest I'm not holding my breath at getting any money back , the natwest fantastic bank worked it out and refunded me the same day .... AVOID THIS BANK PLEASE THEIR VILE AND WILL TAKE YOUR MONEY AND LIE , DISCRIMINATE ETC

I recently left Barclays after banking with them for eight years, the reasons being their customer service is terrible, and they also are in partnership with the Zionists.

I was recently the victim of Stolen Identity and, as I have memory problems, went with my son, Michael, into Barclays Bank in Colchester to report this, We and also dealt with my Power of Attorney which I had previously set up. We had the good-fortune of being allocated a chap call Andy, (?) who I currently am considering adopting! He actually remembered speaking with us a few months prior regarding, a sadly, similar, incident. The pride Andy took in working for Barclays simply shone through… he is a true, hard-Working asset to the Bank. He took his time in explaining how well Barclays deal with these matters, checking I was able to understand the ‘… why’s…’ and ‘… how’ the matter would be dealt with… I would like to recommend Andy gets a rise of at least £26,000 per year, plus an extra six weeks holiday on top of his current quota and if Barclays can’t do that, then remind him to call his mum when he gets home and and tell her how wonderful his customers think he is… Well done Barclays for finding such excellent staff!

I went to the Barclays Hub in Mansfield library on May 2nd, with the sad task ahead of paying for my late brother's funeral and closing his account.( He used to work for Barclays in the 1970s and 80s.)

My appointment was with Laura and I actually told her I felt better after talking with her! She was remarkably kind, compassionate and supportive towards me. She went over and above what I might have expected from a bank employee, taking time to be interested in my story. What a star Laura is and what an asset to Barclays. She is everything customer care is meant to be. Thank you Laura for brightening my day at this very distressing time.

Barclays do not have v good security on credit cards or debit card as my 2 cards frauded & today my debit acc £985at 11am today now emptied by fraud &waiting 1hour to get through to fraud dept so all debit payments due what happens? This has been done to me many times by fraud so banks need to tighten up ,now Ive NO access to cash at all --
