I’ve been part of Avaaz for many years. The work that they do is not only amazing but extremely effective. I encourage others to be part of this worldwide organisation who fight against injustice and for our beautiful planet.

Avaaz is a force for good in a divided and troubled world. They represent the best of humanity using the power of social media to make things better for people. Recommended.

Easy to use. One can contribute to what is right - even if it's in a small way. It unites people that think alike - people that want peace, justice and fairness for all. I think this way of uniting people is bigger and more powerful that we can see right now. The membership numbers and the founding year of Avaaz certainly contributes to feeling confident about joining the cause.

Avaaz works really hard to support communities in need all over the world, and to fight for justice where indigenous communities are being threatened by greedy multi-national companies and bullying governments. I wholeheartedly support the wonderful work they do.

Elk verhaal heeft twee of meer kanten. Wat Israëlieten doen in Gaza is voor mij per definitie fout, omdat ik uitga van geweldloosheid. Hamas-leden vonden onderdak in Gaza. Goedschiks of kwaadschiks. Israel straft iedere inwoner van Gaza omdat zij schuilplaats gaven. Ik vermoed dat Israel herhaaldelijk gevraagd heeft om Hamas-leden geen onderkomen aan te bieden. De ene daad van verschrikking wakkert de wraakzucht aan bij de tegenstander. Er is geen maat meer. Avaaz keert zich naar de onbeschermde Gazanaren en dat is goed.

Avaaz is everything that online activism should be: independent, democratic, ethical, non-profit, run by real people for real people, responsive, thoughtful, inclusive, compassionate, progressive.

I appreciate being able to make my small contribution towards putting right some of the many wrongs in this world.

The courage and determination in this day and age is what Avaaz is all about.

Avaaz's efforts cover a wide range of important international human rights and environmental issues. I have supported them for years now. They keep me informed without putting me under undue pressure or flooding my inbox. Members get to influence priorities and actions. The appeals contain links to articles that document the issue in question. Communications link me to a community of people who want to make the world a better place that feels hopeful.

I've been supporting Avaaz for many years and they've been doing great community powered work the whole time. I love that it's international in scope, both in terms of participants and projects.

We need people who will stand up against the growing tide of fascism. Avaaz has been doing this since their inception. God speed to them.

Avaaz stands up for what is right, and I think in a quite effective way. It is effective because of the large number of people involved. I'm on the committee of a small engineers organisation promoting social and environmental responsibility. We work hard within the limits of our available time, but I think it's debatable how much effect we have. Sometimes I think we are a support group for old men worried about the world. I don't think there is any nation state now that demonstrates any moral leadership. I'm horrified by the moral train wreck of the West which can't think of anything much to say or do about the genocide in Palestine - or actively supports it. I'm also concerned about the planetary boundaries - climate change is becoming an existential thermodynamic crisis, and the natural world is being destroyed hand over fist. I think we need a new narrative about what is important about being human. Maybe Avaaz could have role in moving us forward from our present destructive beliefs about ourselves and the world.

Avaaz sends information that is accurate and definitely worth knowing about. I appreciate this as I live in East Timor, where it is difficult to keep informed about world events.

I am endlessly grateful for their campaigns. AVAAZ makes the public aware of unethical situations around the globe. brings them into focus and gives us the opportunity to do something about them. Thank you for your mahi AVAAZ.

Avaaz is doing absolutely critical work worldwide to improve the lot of humans and the planet, across political, economic, environmental and social fronts. I don't think there's an organization that equals its progressive scope, passion and efficacy. Thank you for all you do, amazing Avaaz team!
