Aura Insurance Arvostelua 

I wasn’t going to write a review but I feel like it’s necessary for people who are considering this insurance company. I feel like I’ve been messed around by this company and robbed of my money. I’ve cancelled the payment and insurance has been cancelled and I’m currently waiting to send back the device. I had to send them documents which I updated them weekly by email, they don’t check their emails. So what would happen was I would get a 7 day cancellation notice then they would take out the insurance payment and cancel the insurance. After sending a snotty email they then reinstated the insurance but they then did this AGAIN! I work very awkward hours and never have the chance to call, so I asked my mum to call on my behalf which she was told I need to authorise her to speak on my behalf. She was told someone would “personally respond to the email” which they did not. As she called back and then was told I would need to give certain details, why couldn’t this have been said all in the first phone call I don’t know waste of time. I then wasn’t able to contact because of the Christmas period and didn’t get another email until later by then I had decided I’m not going to get messed around by this company anymore. I feel like I have been scammed and robbed. The positive reviews seem fake and it looks like a lot of other people are having the same issue as I am. Avoid this company don’t let a cheap price for insurance fool you!

AURA - ABSOLUTELY USELESS INSURANCE COMPANY. If I could give zero stars i would.
I have insured all of my 3 kids cars on black box policies.
This is the worst Insurer i have ever used. 3 strikes and your out, 2 of which i proved that my wife or i was driving.
Speak to customer service in South Africa (the computer says no) look at the T&C's that states anyone driving the car adhers to the black box, who honestly look at terms and conditions of a policy. You honestly do forget that there is a black box in the car the very few occasions you drive the car.
A word of advice to anyone considering the company Aura (owned by Premium Choice), DON'T! pay extra and use another company!

I sent Aura every document they asked for licence, DVLA checks, V5, all uploaded on time. They still cancelled my policy without checking anything. I only found out while I was at work, 40 miles from home. I rang twice. They admitted they had some of my documents but still refused to help. No support, no escalation, no way home. I’m an apprentice and rely on my car for my job. This could genuinely damage my career. I’ve never felt so let down by an insurance company.

Awful company do no not use. Avoid !! If i could give 0 stars i would. My daughter had indurance eth them and as she wirks late as a wautress in a resraueant her driving score was low. In a 3 week period if this drops to below 55 thy cancel. They ttied cancelling policy after 3 weeks due to late night driving score but we had to xancel instead. They knew what job she fid when we took out indurance with them and late night driving will be part of it due to work. She is only 19 years old and to treat a customer like this is truly disgusting when wr paid almost 2k with them. Had to py cancellation fee as hd no other option. Avoid at all costs especially if yoy are a young driver. Much better insurance companies out there. You have been warned !!

If i can give this company a zero star i would, i have never in my life seen where an insurance company would ripe you off your money. i mistakenly did a provisional licence insurance instead of a full uk licence insurance as my phone just automatically filled my details on confused.com as i have previously searched for insurance before passing my test. I immediately rang this company to inform them so they can change this policy for me and hopefully charge an extra bit of fee it took them 2 days to properly speak to me after staying on the phone for forever. I paid £147 for this policy . i was told that they need to cancel this plan , i asked how much i'll be getting back and i was told i won't get any money back instead i will pay an extra £3 and return a telematics device that i haven't yet received. i told them that paying another company or taking another insurance would cost my child her essential needs but they wouldn't listen. i even broke down on the phone in tears to the lady on the phone but no empathy or compassion. I later received a mail from a company called premium credit stating that I will be paying £90 every month for an insurance I never used for a day. There’s no way I’m paying this money, if I don’t get this sorted I’ll have to report to the appropriate body to investigate this company as there are too many bad reviews. i'd like everyone to know my terrible experience with aura insurance my reference number is AGAX03PC01

Kay from the compliance department reached out to me , she was so helpful and really showed compassion. She also processed my refund and I got £94.38 which is fair enough and I could use this towards my baby’s needs especially that it’s Christmas soon. I really appreciate her professionalism and empathy. I would also return the telematics device
