My grandfather was in his late 70s when it was confirmed that he COPD and asbestos-related illness. I am a practising barrister. My brother was diagnosed with Epithelioid Mesothelioma. We decided to pursue a claim for compensation, although the passage of time and causation were difficult aspects of my brother's case. Asbestos exposure, Mesothelioma, claim for compensation

Diagnosed with Mesothelioma in January 2022, I was told I can try for compensation from the employer when I was exposed.
On top of having to face surgery and chemotherapy, this sounded rather ominous and a long-winded process. Who to choose as my solicitor? Lots of expensive, full-coloured brochures came my way. A Google search came up with Oliver and Co Solicitors, a smaller practise, specialising in this disease.

James & his team couldn't of been more helpful, James kept myself & my mum updated throughout with the claim for my Dad. When we first started the claim my Dad was still with us and thought James was a very professional & honest man.
