Have bought many amazing things off of Approved Food, not just food though, just bought Christmas present bath bomb packs for friends. The food is good quality, there are many interesting new foods and drinks that I would never get to try otherwise - in some cases I couldn't afford them at normal price - and the prices are amazing! :D Example; I bought a pack of seven Rocky bars for a penny - you can only get five packs now and they go for between a pound and one fifty. Have given samples out to friends (including the bloke who delivers the boxes and the postie) and highly recommend them to all. And on the very very rare occasion that there is something not right or missing (three times out of hundreds for me - over a lot of years), they get back to you straight away and sort it out. :) Unless you are fussy about sell/use by dates you are onto a winner! :D

Placed order I no stuff is out of date or coming up to date but got heat spray made all my legs red and and starred to burn

I have been using this site for several years, although it's items are unpredictable they are generally at a good price, although the sell by dates are not an issue to me, as it is use by that is relevant.
It maybe several weeks between purchases, as not everything is of interest to me, but it is still entertaining finding surprises.
I would reccomend giving the site a try, and I suspect that you will come back again, occasionally I will find something that I didn't like,but overall, I keep visiting, especially for the special offers, definitely reccomend the site.
I have had to put a date of experience, but the reality is a least from ten years previous.

We have used approved foods for a while now. Not all items are a bargain anymore though, so you need to be careful with the pricing. Some actually work out more expensive than an in date product you can get from a shop.

Very good company to deal with; responsive customer service (on the rare occasions when needed). Goods arrive quickly and to schedule, all items carefully boxed and in protective packaging when needed.
The only thing I would advise is to check item sizes when ordering as they sometimes come up smaller than expected! But down to me for not checking properly 🙂

This site is a little gem. Great selection of foods, beauty products and household goods. Good prices too. Delivery prices very reasonable with plenty updates when it will be delivered. Customer service gives a prompt reply to any queries

Love this company! the quality is fantastic and good to know that at least some food does not get wasted.

My order didn't arrive, so I checked with the couriers Web site to find a message to say it had been returned to sender. I then queried with Approved foods to find out what was happening to my order to ne told it had been damaged in transit and would be replaced BUT several items were put of stock so my account was credited. On checking the new order raised by AF staff, I noticed another item was missing so raised another query. Eventually they gave me another credit so I had to place another order. Today I have been advised that yet another credit has been made to my account t as an item is out of stock. This is happening g far too frequently, and I believe the stock control needs to be looked at.

The new site layout makes it far easier to negotiate. There are some really good bargains to be had and items to try that maybe you hadn't seen before. Details are updated regularly, everything is very well packed and deliverly fast and securely.

I order regularly and only ever had one issue with a food item. I contacted them and received a quick response from Claire apologising and advising a credit note had been issued to my account. Excellent customer service from start to finish and I will definitely be ordering again, thank you 😊

Missing items, broken items. Contacted multiple times and still no reply 10 days later!

I have been an Approved Food customer for many years. They have always been very careful with their packaging of products, great with delivery times and notifications and overall wonderful. I can’t recommend them highly enough!

Absolutely terrible, dont even bother ordering!

Placed an order, only 11 items out of 41 delivered!
Customer service is absolutely terrible!!
I wouldn't even class it as customer service.
Numerous Days after delivery company sent 2nd parcel back to approved foods due to approved foods apparently not labelling correctly .
Items still not received, nor any refund or correspondence about this.
Absolutely disgusted.
Now have lost financially and dont have any of the products i was hoping on for a party.
Advice--- dont use approved foods, far better sites out there with far better customer service.

Last 4 orders all arrived either late or damaged or missing items. Paid for express delivery ( next day despatch) now been 5 days and no sign of order. Customer service shocking and DX delivery service are the worst courier ever either can't fund address or just dump stuff wherever they can.
I've been using them for a couple years and it seems to if gone down hill very quickly

Great food at a great price. Well packaged. Very quick dispatch and delivery.

This company is the worst of all time. I ordered in the Thursday. Even though they were perishables, they decided to use DX and send them on Monday. DX left it on someone else's porch, so my name address and goods all gone - and neither DX nor Approved Food have a live agent for such problems so you have to wait 2 to 3 days for a response. No goods and out of pocket by over £60. Stay away from these people and buy from national retailers. I will open a payment dispute with them and never use them again.

Second order and second time they didn't arrive, absolutely no help from customer service as no telephone number but still didn't reply to both email and direct message to find out the problem, finally received a response by mail with no writing or explanation just an empty message asking me my service rate out of 10, at this moment I'm without any delivery or response from them and definitely will not be using them again, minus 5 for all the hassle and non contact.
