Returned a dress over two months ago and have sent probably over 10 emails asking for updates, to which I get generic AI responses. Considering their dresses are nearly £200 it's not a small amount to lose. I'm still not closer to getting a refund for this as I'm told ill be transferred to their "specialist" team and then hear nothing back.

I also received a FedEx charge of £80 through the post as they sent my dress from their US warehouse (I live in the UK). Nowhere on the website or on my order did it specify that it would be being sent from the US and may incur extra charges, if it had I would not have purchased from this company. Considering their name has London in the title and there's no mention of US shipping, this is extremely misleading. I have emailed them about this issue and being reimbursed for the charge but once again I'm just being sent generic responses and told my problem is being dealt with, when it isn't.

I truly believe this is a scam company and I am now £280 out of pocket.

I purchased the Cassini Bloom dress for a wedding in Italy. The quality and weight of the dress is excellent. The dress hangs beautiful and moves so elegant when you walk. I’ve never had so many compliments!

Ordered from this website, despite seeing some bad reviews about delayed shipping. I had time on my side so I continued with the purchase, but wish I never did.

The dress arrived delayed, despite the estimate at checkout. When I went to return, there were "issues" with their portal, links didn’t work and it took multiple emails just to find out how to return, eventually getting their address to send back with tracking.

Once the item was confirmed as delivered, and after their stated timeline for inspection had passed, they continued a charade, repeatedly telling me it was still being “inspected”.

After about 6 weeks of the item being returned and me following up each week, they eventually stopped responding, at which point I said I'd be opening an AMEX dispute. Thankfully I got my money back, otherwise I'd be £120 down with no further response from the company.

I would strongly advise caution when ordering from ALB London. If you do order from them, please use a reputable credit card company, as they will ultimately be the ones to help you get your money back when ALB don't refund you, as I now sadly see in many other reviews since.

Absolutely love everything I order from ALB! My new polka dot co ord with lace detailing is incredible quality and fits to PERFECTION! I am a 10/12 on top and ordered a L which is great and a M in the trousers. I am SO excited to wear it on holiday in a few weeks time!

Actually, they deserve no stars at all!! Should be reported to
BBB. They do not respond to any communication. Products are substandard. My CC company is disputing with them now. Should not be in business!!

I placed a pre-order for a dress on July 8, with a dispatch date of July 10. I also paid extra for expedited shipping (2–3 days) to ensure the dress would arrive by my desired date.

When I didn’t receive any tracking information within two days, I contacted customer service several times by email. I only received vague responses, and the shipping date kept being pushed back.

To this day, I am still waiting for any concrete information about when my dress will actually be shipped.

The latest update I received was that it would be dispatched today, but that still hasn’t happened.

This is a €400 order.

I have never experienced such poor customer service. At this point, I believe this website may be a scam. I will never order from them again, and I certainly cannot recommend them to anyone else.

Initially ordered a dress at the start of May 2026, with the quickest delivery in the UK. After almost a week we still had nothing but an order confirmation. I e-mailed the company directly and requested to cancel the order / for a refund as the order would not arrive for the planned event. I was told it would be passed to the relevant team to be processed. I heard nothing more until I chased it up again with their 'customer service'. To be told once more, it was being escalated to the appropriate team. I contacted the 'customer services' several times to be constantly fobbed off.
I've resorted to contacting Trading Standards, Citizens Advice and my bank to claim for the refund because awaiting a refund for 2 months with barely any communication is ridiculous.

Please do not buy from this company, spend your money elsewhere.

ALB 'Customer Service Team' - Please do not respond to this, it will be another 'this is not the service we wish to provide please e-mail us' rubbish like the rest of the review responses you have made. Sending celebs to Wimbledon this year must have really took up all your time.

Ordered dresses as saw influencers wearing them and advertising the brand, especially for Wimbledon. Wish I hadn’t bothered. Sizing isn’t consistent, either too small or too big. Customer service is shocking, no one to speak to other than a robot at the other end. Shipping/delivery took way longer than it should have and I’m still waiting for my refund!

Worst customer service, in fact it’s non existent. I ordered a top and it’s now been two months and I have not received it. I am reporting it as a scam with my bank. DO NOT SHOP HERE

I have a few pieces from ALB and no matter where I go I am always complimented and asked where the dress is from. Stunning brand. ❤️

Very poor experience. Bought a dress that took nearly 3 weeks to come. Returned the item as it wasn’t needed anymore. Still waiting on my money back and I’ve had no response yet to let me know the order was received back at the warehouse. When I try to speak to customer service I get an AI response. When I eventually get through to a human, they can never help me with the issue, they say they’ll get back to me but never do.

Such beautiful dresses- amazing quality- fit so well and make you feel a million dollars!

Wow what can I say from start to finish ALB were amazing, I ordered the stunning Cassini Calla Dress in Floral , when it came the dress is absolutely stunning , beautiful quality , extremely well made & overall just what i had in mind for my special occasion. The size was too small so I contacted via instagram message and someone came back immediately. Helped me navigate the very quick and easy return with the link they sent me & my next size up was with me within 3 days . No fuss , no worries, just quick and easy . The dress came & it fits perfectly, irs such a wonderful dress for that special occasion. I would recommend sizing up for this dress it will fit perfectly. Thank you for ALB keeping in contact making sure I received my dress and was happy. The best customer service I have ever encountered. I will 💯 be buying more beautiful items from ALB . Please don’t listen to the negative reviews , just have patience, I literally had what I wanted within a matter of a few days even with the exchange. Super quick and felt very looked after. Don’t do it. Chinese seller pretending to be the USA. Jeans arrived and cheap shiny polyester not denim. Have had to contact the bank. Total scam

Leider war meine Erfahrung mit ALB äusserst enttäuschend.

Aufgrund eines Fehlers auf der Website wurde eine falsche Bestellung ausgelöst. Obwohl ich den Fehler sofort gemeldet habe, konnte die Bestellung nicht mehr storniert werden. Dadurch musste ich sowohl die Zollkosten als auch den Rückversand selbst bezahlen.

Auch die zweite, korrekte Bestellung musste ich retournieren (die Grössen fallen sehr klein aus bei den Kleidern). Der Rücksendeprozess war bei beiden Paketen extrem mühsam: Das Rücksendeportal funktionierte nicht, und ich erhielt mehrfach Links, die das Problem nicht lösten. Auf meine E-Mails kamen überwiegend automatisierte Antworten über einen KI-Chatbot, ohne dass mein Anliegen tatsächlich geklärt wurde.

Bis heute warte ich auf meine Rückerstattung und werde immer wieder vertröstet.

Würde nie wieder dort bestellen!

DO NOT SHOP HERE. Brought a dress for my mother in law for a wedding and unfortunately it didn’t fit so we returned it and ordered a new one. The second dress was lovely however what I thought would be a simple return has turned into a nightmare. I sent my order back on 24th May, the warehouse received the order on 28th May and still no refund. Despite messaging them multiple times I’m constantly told ‘my case had been referred and they will get back to me as soon as possible’ I do not believe they are trying to refund my dress and feel they just want my money. I’ve now waited nearly 7 weeks and still no sign on the money. I’ve had to open a case with my bank as I don’t believe I will get my money back otherwise. It’s so unfortunate as the dress was lovely but it’s not worth the risk of ordering and returning and then not getting your money back. The customer service is despicable, just avoid at all costs. Don’t believe the good reviews they are just celebrities that have been gifted.
