AVOID — seven weeks, hundreds of pounds owed and completely ignored

Absolutely appalling customer service. Anne Louise Boutique has now had my returned items for SEVEN WEEKS and still has not refunded me hundreds of pounds.

They have confirmation that the return was delivered. I have repeatedly emailed and messaged them on Instagram — they have seen my messages and simply ignored them.

This follows my previous one-star experience, when they refused to refund a dress after claiming I had marked it with makeup — something I completely dispute — and gave me a voucher instead. I only ordered again to use that voucher.

I am now left with no goods, no refund and seemingly no way of getting my money back.

Completely unacceptable. I would strongly advise people to think twice before ordering from this company. And FYI their customer service email now keeps bouncing back … yet they post new dresses with influencers on instagram daily. Just terrible.

I sent back a dress in June that didn’t fit and I’m still waiting for a refund almost 3 months on. They ignored me for weeks, I sent countless emails and social media messages to finally get a reply a month later. I am constantly asking for updates and they have an excuse every time. Terrible customer service, especially as the dress was £180. I will never order from them again and have told all my friends to avoid!!!

I have already written a review but I am now writing another as the response from the company gave me a fake email. hello @alblondon.co.uk is not a real email and just bounces back. I am owed over £400 in refunds and all emails bounce back and no way of getting in contact with them. DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY! How are they allowed to still advertise on instagram if they can't look after the customers they already had?! terrible company!

Awful service. Item still not delivered after months, they won’t refund me or sort it out. They keep telling me they’ll come back with an update but never do. I have contacted them SO many times now. Absolutely scam of a company, no interest in customer service at all. Save your money and shop honestly ANYWHERE else. This has been going on since before May :(

As many have said, I wish I read the reviews before ordering. I ordered a trouser and top co-ord and when my order arrived I had been sent 2 tops and no trousers. I returned the delivery within a couple of days via Evri and this was confirmed to have been delivered on 3rd August. 3 and a half weeks later, I have still not received my refund, nor any acknowledgment that this is being processed - I am owed nearly £200. I have contacted customer service several times and keep being told this is being investigated and an update will be provided but there does not seem to be any progress. Terrible customer service.

Terrible customer service experience I have been waiting over 4 weeks for a my refund and have emailed multiple times and still no joy absolutely disgusting behaviour I would not recommend at all

The fact they have commented saying to email and get in contact I have already done that MULTIPLE times and still no joy ! It’s a joke

I was offered £20 voucher to write my review 2 weeks ago. I received no voucher? Customer service ignore my emails!

Fabulous dress. Ordered two sizes and returned one of them.
ALB have responded saying they have refunded me but they haven’t !!!
Come on ALB please refund me!!!

This company is nothing but a scam. I ordered four dresses which unfortunately did not fit. I returned the dresses and over 6 weeks later I still do not have a refund. Their customer services email address is managed by generic responses and they have made every excuse not to provide a refund. They are now advising I claim via my bank or they gift me a gift card for their website. You have the clothing back and you are keeping my money. This is ILLEGAL. I am entitled to a refund under the LAW and this should have been processed within 14 days of the goods being received. I will now start legal proceeding. Please do not lie in your response to say this is resolved and please do not tell me to contact your customer care team. I have spent the last 6 weeks doing that. I have contacted the owner of the company, Anna Dempsey, directly. Will she actually respond?!

UPDATE 24/08/2026 - As expected a standard response received below from ALB. I have been contacting the email address you quote for weeks and weeks now with zero resolution. I am still owed nearly £600! You have the product back so I expect a full refund. When will this happen?

It is very unlike me to write a review, however, given that it is now August 2026 and I am still chasing a refund from October 2025 I have no choice. I have contacted customer services multiple times but receive automated responses and have been told this will be passed onto someone to deal with. I am still awaiting for a meaningful response. I am due a refund of £150 and yet to recieve. I really like the ALB dresses, however, this experience will prevent me from ordering from here again.

This is the worst place I have ever shopped, I placed my order February we are now August , no apologies, no getting back to me , no genuine reply’s at all, they are terrible don’t waste your energy on this company they do not care

Awful! I ordered a dress from this company unfortunately, the size didn’t fit, so I contacted them and was told exchanging it would be fine. I was sent an exchange code and returned the dress as instructed.
7 WEEKS LATER I am still without the new dress or my money back I have made contact with the company every week since and get the same email reply saying they are dealing with my request! I wish I had looked at the reviews first as clearly this has happened to more people than me!!

Horrible company and experience! Ordered a dress in June with confirmation email and I am still waiting on said dress. Every time you contact them they say they can’t find the order number even though I have sent them their own confirmation email or will have someone contact me which never happens. At this point, with no dress, no resolution, and out a large amount of money I feel it will be best to do a charge back on my credit card. Do not do business with this horrible company. It’s a scam.

Unfortunately a scam organisation. They will accept your return but will not provide a refund. I have been emailing for weeks requesting my money back, they have alleged issues with their refund portal. Given the number of poor reviews, I do not believe this and believe they are deceiving customers into giving them money, knowing they will not refund. Communication is often AI generated and repeatedly says sorry we’re working on it … and then nothing. Really shoddy. Do not waste your money.

Completely different print of dress sent out from what was advertised online, sent item back & still a month later have not received a refund, company now ignoring all messages on Instagram & email.
Such bad customer service, steer clear

I ordered a dress & 2 months later it still hasn’t been shipped, so I’m unsure if I’ll ever receive it. I’ve repeatedly contacted customer services asking for an update/ for the order to be shipped but I only ever get a response from the AI generated response who states they will pass it onto a team to manage. But then I hear nothing. I’ve now asked for a refund which is not something the AI can deal with, but I’m still waiting for someone to contact me despite emailing over a week ago. I’ve previously ordered from this company and whilst I did receive the dress that time, I’d ordered 2 sizes and it was a real ordeal trying to get the refund for the size I returned. Overall I don’t trust this company & they have terrible customer service communication.

Awful experience ! Still waiting for a refund from a return for 4 weeks !! Only speaking to an AI robot when raising concerns. Will never use this company again

Total scam, dress was child size and awful quality. When I tried to return it within the 14 days the portal didn’t work. I have sent 4 emails and messaged on socials and nothing. Do not buy from this company.
