Liverpool branch is a fantastic vets staffed by lovely people. My dog had a difficult operation to remove a growth and the care he received was second to none. The surgeon was caring, lovely and extre... Näytä lisää

Appalling practice
Appalling practice. I found a severely neglected dog and I wanted them to report this to the rspca instead they contacted the owner ignored all my requests to urgently seek help for this dog. When I found the dog it was skin and bones was vommiting blood and was petrified of people. It had been neglected. I was in tears in this practice and the staff treated me and this dog with zero respect. When I questioned there actions I was basically told to leave. One member of staff stood in the background smirking. These people do not care about animals!!! It was proved that day. I raised a formal complaint and the response I’ve had is discusting. They have accused me of being rude and have removed all my dogs from there list. I want proof of me being rude. There’s a different life between trying to get ur point across and being rude. I even said throughout that I wasn’t going to swear yet I have been so rude to be removed!!! I came in about a lost dog I had found I tried to do the right thing by this dog. This vets are the most vindictive people I have come across. Now pressing forward with more complaints and mediation and I won’t stop until I’ve got justice for this poor neglected dog that was returned back to its owner!
Rang for an emergency appointment and…
Rang for an emergency appointment and turned away. Never thought they would say that. The excuse was because I lived half hr away and it would be less stressful to travel all that way. Just as demanding to travel 15 minutes to another. Very upset.
Stockton branch amazing!!!! 3 million stars
Stockton branch
My son who has asc etc has had rabbits for 8 years. Twice in the past, I’ve needed out of hours treatment, well in excess of £600 each time (bladder infection was one of the illnesses) by 2 different out of hours vets and had to go back to own vet next day for longer term medication at another £150+.
The male rabbit had a tooth op today and got conjunctivitis tonight coz they can’t blink during an operation apparently. Rushed him to the first vets that would see him, worrying how much more I might have to pay . Obviously money is a thing if you have a some family circumstances ….. so any savings are very, very welcome. The building was clean and well lit. A very kind reception lady and a vet. She examined him, gave him eye 28 portions of eye drops+ for 7 days , explained how to administer them etc…how eyes should look over coming days, how to keep them clean….maybe in room 15-20 minutes with vet. Total cost £116 at 11.30pm. The rabbits are my son’s world. So to find a caring service that really helped us was absolutely fantastic.
They cancelled our appt whilst we were there!
We turned up for our appointments booked a week previous and confirmed by email for our two dogs, they saw one dog and then were told they were too busy that day to see our second dog, even though we'd booked two separate slots. We were then asked to rebook and come back the next day! On the website it says if an appt is cancelled or missed by a customer they can be charged!!
My dog had a dental procedure
My dog had a dental procedure, everything was explained thoroughly to me, I thank everyone who looked after my dog, from when I walked in to when I was able to take her home, special thank you to Olivia and Joe
Shrewsbury branch not great
If your thinking of leaving a vets to go to the Shrewsbury branch don’t bother , the grass isn’t always greener, the 0830 call appointments on the day are always gone or staff sickness , when you do call up your made to feel uncomfortable as it’s emergency only apparently, when you do get an appointment your waiting 20/30 mins in reception, your never updated on repeat prescriptions , one bit of advice would be just get the prescription and buy elsewhere.
Dewsbury Beanch
I took my cat to the branch in Dewsbury for a bad eye, after the vet went to look for the medication she came back and said they didn’t have any, then a knock came to door they found some, after the consultation my cat was booked in for a operation a week later, after keeping him in ruining a carpet( because we have a cat flap) we got there the vet said we haven’t got the medication to check his tear ducks, so he didn’t have the op, a week later I rang just to check to see if the had the medication to check his eye, they said they still didn’t have any..so we didn’t go, they was suppose to call me back I haven’t heard from them, yes this vet provided no consultation fee, but the service is disgusting to not have medication and not follow up with a call, if I could score zero stars then that’s what they would have
Easy to book
Easy to book, prices explained clearly. The vet was friendly and short waiting times, she explained everything and advised on options clearly during the free consolation appointment.
Lovely Vets who actually care
Receptionists were lovely ( massive improvement from 2 years ago) and so much better with two instead of one grumpy one! Ty my dealt with clients quickly and professionally. The Vet we seen today was absolutely amazing Cooper had his vaccine and his ear problem was assessed too with clear advice she was so lovely with him.
A***** service.
A*****. I always have a great experience at this vets. So easy to book app, always seen on time. I fully trust all vets & nurses with my dog. I would never go anywhere else, I highly recommend dogs trust birkenhead. Been going to them 6 years now. Always sympathetic and treat my dog really well ☺️
Follow up appointment with Kooper
Follow up appointment with Kooper. Everything explained . Vet great with him giving him a full check up. The vet,Claudia ,even took the time after we left to follow up on his recent surgery and rang me the next day to tell me all was well.

Another good visit
Another good visit to Animal Trust Barnsley. We've now been here several times ,following up on our dog's cruciate ligament op. Each time, the vet or nurse has been very good with him and reassured us along the way. We saw the vet Tim this time and he watched the way our dog was walking and felt along the affected leg. I have no hesitation in recommending this practice. Thank you.
Calm and thorough
Calm and thorough. Kept in touch during the day. Gentle with Lottie.
When you can navigate their very…
When you can navigate their very complex website and finally get online to book an appointment the care is very good ,unfortunately I tried all Sunday morning and my husband tried Sunday afternoon but alas to no avail we have cut our losses and decided to go to a local vet !
If I could give no stars I would
If I could give no stars I would.
My dog went in at 8:30am for a dental procedure. 14:30 text message received from them to say that he hasn't had a procedure done as other surgery's ran over. I get things can run over but leaving it until 14:30 was disgustingly when he'd been nil by mouth since lunch time yesterday as advised. They never offered my dog any food or water. He suffers with separation anxiety and was hugely upset when I picked him up. No apology or empathy from staff. I was visibly shook up for him and was just told he was fine.
I had to ask for a refund. It was never offered neither was an apology. Awful call themselves animal trust and put welfare of animals first. It certainly wasn't for my dog.
Very friendly and welcoming…
Very friendly and welcoming environment. I couldn't recommend them enough!
Absolutely a pleasure
Absolutely a pleasure, wonderful vets , its been a long time coming when you can feel good about a vet visit, and i will be taking all my dogs there from now on.
Bad practise, waste of time.
Bad practise, not helpful, and straight up a nightmare to deal with.
All I wanted to do is get my dogs up to date with their vaccinations. Their booking system doesn't work, I report it, and then get harassed about a separate issue.
Constantly back and forth with contradictory messages, and ultimately a waste of time.
The worst person, Ben Mallinson in Dewsbury.
And this was going on from MARCH 2026.
How much?
The locum vet was absolutely fantastic. Explained everything to me, gave me alternatives and tips to alleviate my dogs symptoms, the lady knew her profession really well. However, after consultation I went to reception and just got told how much I owed them. Be nice to have a breakdown of what I was paying for, for future reference( hopefully not a repeat visit) for my dog. They’re local which was good, parking made easy, water bowl was empty but it was busy. This was my first experience with the surgery. Five + stars alone for the vet
