Alpha-Stim Arvostelua 10

Liz Mataraza from customer service and her team laughed at me when I was on the phone to make a customer service request. She constantly told me take me dispute to unrelated parties. As I began to become upset; I was mocked, laughed at, and teased.

Website is misleading. AS-Trode reads as 'single pack, 10 pack' $25. No drop down with option for single vs option for 10 and no alternate pricing listed. So, I ordered 3 (packs of 10) to get to the Free Shipping, along with other items. When they arrived, there were only 3 packs. Customer service rep was confrontational and unfamiliar with the website. Manager Liz was friendly but unwilling to adjust pricing due to misinformation on site. Apparently the price drops to 15.75 per pack, when you buy 10 but this is not stated anywhere and currently the only way to know this is to put 10 in your cart. She says she will reach out to IT to adjust. As someone with a website of my own, this is a very easy fix and shocking that this is the state of their site in 2025.Hope they make the changes and other customers do not encounter this issue. Clearly they do not value their customers.

If I could give this company a zero star, I certainly would. I received the Alpha stem it died. After less than nine hours of view they sent me a replacement. The clip immediately broke on it. I called them to return it. They told me I had to pay for the return and that it was subject to a 10% restocking fee. It’s reprehensible This company is disreputable and I would never advise anyone under any circumstances to use them and that’s just my opinion based on my experience with this company, they are abusive to me on the phone in my opinion and I resent having to pay a 10% restocking fee for a $1300 device which is clearly defective on the first and second pass, clearly their quality control standards leave a lot to be desired to say the very least buyer beware

Have not used it a long time, but only positive results so far. It literally saved my friend's life. She was spiraling with anxiety and could not sleep at night. This was a huge help for her. Cannot say enough positive things. Helps to avoid meds.

Not sure about reviews I have read however my Alpha-Stim device has been a great purchase. I am more relaxed and sleeping through the night. I take it everywhere especially when I am traveling for business.

Purchased an Alpha Stim cost an arm and a leg but worth it.

However a new model came out and now you cannot get replacement leads for the older model.

Absolutely disgusting considering the price they cost.

The advice they gave me try on ebay you may get lucky, or shock buy a new model.

No point buying a device that cannot be maintained

Your tax dollars paid for the devise for me. Worked ok initially. Buttons are cheaply made, devise gets progressively difficult to moderate. I'm giving it back to the va. Cheaply made, not worth the aggravation..

Do not get off your antidepressant. You may not have the energy to mail your alpha-stim back. This product is flimsy. Worked great at first but watch out. I don’t know how they can charge so much while at the same time producing a flimsy product.

I bought this a few months ago and have been using 4-5 times a week for 40 min at a time. It helped a little with insomnia but that is all. Then it stopped being able to turn on. The screen blinks blue few a few seconds and that is all. Customer service said to replace batteries. So I spent money on expensive lithium batteries after using this device only a few months. Replacing the batteries did not help. There is supposedly a 5 year warranty but the fine print says this:

"The Alpha-Stim is not user serviceable. To obtain service, first contact your authorized distributor or EPI for advice or a Return Material Authorization number (RMA). If necessary, send the entire device, with all accessories, packed in the original case, if available.
Send it insured, freight prepaid, and include a copy of your invoice and a note describing the problem. Please do not forget to include your return address, including country, and your phone number, along with fax and email if you have them."

They want you to pay for insurance and shipping and submit paperwork. So now I have to spend even more time and money on an extremely expensive device that helped very little, if any. Customer service should be better after you spend so much for this device.

We bought the device on reading and article in the daily mail. Gave the product a great review.
At £900 it was a big purchase for us.
Nowhere in the article say that once purchased it was no returnable. No 30 day money back guarantee.

I bought it on Amazon as I have only ever had a good experience and always been able to return a product if I needed to.
Buried in the small print it tells you that it is non returnable. So my fault for trusting Amazon and alpha stim. If they made it plain the product was non returnable they wouldn’t sell any. Sharp practice at best.
