Nurses Mario & Andreas were excellent I was very nervous about injecting myself & they were patient , understanding & extremely knowledgeable. They were running a little late but texted & informed me of this which was very considerate. They left me feeling confident & well informed as to how to carry out my procedure. I have contact numbers for them & clear instructions as to who to speak to if I have problems.

Reply to edit. was told 9am this morning that a manager would be calling me back shortly. Even when you work with me it amounts to a dreadfully poor service provided

Alcura have left me without medication....life saving critical medication.
This happened as they have sent the delivery many hours earlier than arranged on three occasions with no notice of a time slot change

In my experience the nurses have always been professional but the administration and customer service operations are appalling. It’s normal to be on hold for 20+ minutes, have missing paperwork on prescriptions, incorrect records kept, deliveries late and no communication. It’s always so stressful trying to get my medication and it’s usually a “computer says no” type response from the customer service agents. I’ve raised a complaint after a particularly bad experience and even had a formal apology letter but then nothing changed the next time I needed a delivery. I wish my hospital would use a different company and I feel sorry for the nurses who are doing a great job as management/admin is just a complete mess!

Yet again Alcura I have been left without without my meds.This issue should have been sorted in October 24 yet here we are again.Now I have received a phone call from yourselves today telling me you cannot deliver my meds on booked delivery date which means I now have a new delivery date for Saturday which leaves me struggling and relying on said delivery getting to me as I have no medication left this is causing me stress and anxiety Not Good Enough Alcura Also your ring back doesn't work and Emails are not being answered.Time to get your acts together

Had some home medication today and brilliant service, little confusion with organising the home care but apart from that perfect. Very grateful

I can only comment on the nurse that came to train me. Sheetal has been very helpful and lovely. She gave me the confidence to do it myself and it was a pleasure having her around!

I had been prescribed medication and it was delivered promptly with full instructions and then advised that a specialist nurse would visit my home to show me how to self administer it. Sheetal showed up a day later, very friendly and efficient and took care to make sure I knew how to administer it and guided me the first time. She offered to visit the next month but I felt her instructions were clear enough for me to handle it myself going forward. The customer service agents are also very helpful when I called once early on in the process to find out when the medication would be delivered.

We’ve had lovely nurse Raquel visit our home last week to help us better understand more about the medication. She made us at ease and is very knowledgeable. Also, very reliable service and excellent communication with staff and team in delivering the product. Many thanks

Amazing nurse came to our house to train me to inject my daughter with growth hormone
She was very thorough and clear and I felt very relaxed and very happy and confident going forwards

After a " rocky"start trying to engage& book my injection date-pre Xmas with the nurse I got to meet a v.profesional & charming nurse-who immediately put me at ease and she was patient and kind.

Today I had a visit from an Alcura nurse to explain how to use the epi pen dispenser for a medication I have to now use daily.
He was patient and explained how to use, keep and store the medication. He then watched me use the first dosage of the medication to ensure I had totally understood the procedure I must use daily.
I was extremely impressed that Alcura sends a nurse a considerable distance to patients such as myself and can really recommend both the gentleman that visited me and the Company.
I wish all NHS services were so efficient.

Alcura are consistently poor. Some of the staff they employ have poor language skills. The last conversation I had with them both my wife and myself failed to understand their care advisor. I sent an e mail three days ago and have had no reply as yet What is it with this company that no one in the NHS takes a close look at it

The people at Alcura are just so helpful, nothing is too much trouble and everything is dealt with very quickly. They have been very good to me and I hold them in the highest esteem. I would have no hesitation in recommending them to anyone.

Had a real issue getting my medication delivery for over 2 weeks with no help from most of the team I spoke to, I just got fobbed off and no phone calls returned, but Hazel today went above and beyond to help and get the issue sorted. Hazel you truly are amazing and can’t thank you enough.

Great service from medication arriving with comprehensive instructions and two lovely visits from Sheetal the nurse. First of all Sheetal explained everything very clearly. She was very friendly, patient and spent time with me so I felt confident to administer medication myself. Thank you so much

I have now had 2 visits from nurse Raquel and can’t speak highly enough of her. Really lovely person as well as making me feel confident in been able to administer my medication myself from now. Explained everything really clear and very helpful with any questions I had.
