The purchase of our new Malibu motorhome was a big decision for us because I have serious health problems but the staff at Alan Kerr were exceptional in every way. In particular Ryan and Rob went above and beyond to help us even down to delivering it to our house.
There were problems between Fiat and Malibu but the guys found workarounds which mitigated these for us.
I have nothing but praise for them and would recommend them without hesitation, thanks to all at AK.

bought my new a class motorhome from here and at the start i thought i had a big mistake ,,but after the initial problems were ironed out ,,they have been great they have been so helpful nothing was too much trouble i wouldn't hesitate to recommend them , all warranty work done without an issue,,

I would recommend. Brett and the lady on reception have been extremely helpful and empathetic. I bought a second hand campervan, it needed a few bits doing. It was booked in and sorted promptly, everything was covered on the warranty, so it was worth the trip back up to Paignton from Plymouth.

we purchased a new Pegaso 590 from Alan Kerr, we picked it up last week and are very happy with it.

Only slight disappointment was that the carpets that came with the van were not correct, however they have been ordered for us and will be sent to us direct from the factory.

Just picked up our new motorhome from Alan Kerr Ltd Paignton, I cannot fault them, from Initial enquiry to collection, we were treated exceptionally well, our sales person ( Chase ) was lovely , helpful and friendly, even booked us in for a free night stay at Beverly park campsite to try everything out!!

I bought an Auto Sleeper Kingham from them in March 2024 £62K
All in all this has proved to be a good buy A couple of days after collecting the vehicle it was noticed that the TV aerial was broken
I contacted Alan Kerr and they asked me to bring the vehicle back the next day when they fitted a new aerial whilst I waited
Since then everything has been fine and I.m very pleased with the van
Only reason I am leaving 4 stars it should have been picked up before

Looking for our first motorhome found something we liked and spoke to ryan a top 10 experience send a video of the vehicle supplied all information required .we drove to see the vehicle spot on perfect clean all paperwork everything unfortunately my partner decided wanted her son to come along and vehicle only had two seat belts and we couldn't proceed with the sale otherwise we would have definitely bought the vehicle if your looking for a vehicle just ask for ryan your see what I mean many thanks for all his help and patience..

Once they've got your money they don't care.

Take my advice, stay away from this out fit, they are incompetent when it comes to warranty work, the standard of workmanship is terrible. Avoid avoid avoid
I have now sold our 5 month old motorhome at a loss so that I don’t need to deal with this shambles of an outfit!

Please stay away from this company they are great at taking your money but after that they are a bad bad outfit!!!
We have had 3 Motorhomes from them and should have learnt from the first one.
The communication is pathetic, some of the girls upstairs are nice but will and the rest of them are useless.
We needed work carrying out and we was still under warranty but they wanted to charge us,

Just taken ownership of a second hand Roller Team, dealt with Jason who was incredibly knowledgeable and easy to deal with. Superb from start to finish. In particular, couldn’t lay his hands on the paperwork for the cambelt so have agreed for us to get the work done and they will reimburse. A genuine company, with great customer service. We love our new purchase, and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend these guys

We are really disappointed at the moment with the after sales care that we have had…. We have a swift that has developed a leak in the door that doesn’t seem to be able to get fixed at the moment .. we are on our 4th visit to and fro only we feel abit annoyed to say the lest.. she isn’t 12months old yet the van but we feel that we have spent more mileage going to their workshop then enjoying it… someone said in an earlier review that once you part with your money that seems to be it … the after care is rubbish at the moment and we feel that we get fobbed off .. we don’t recommend buying anything from them as a result of this …so beware

Buyer beware
I bought a used vehicle from this company in April this year 2024. Which like most have a few faults valeting and wear and tear, and it was agreed with the sales rep these would be corrected. At the same time I asked for a gas flow system be fitted.

On the day of handover I found, it had not been valeted as promised and my wife and I were kept waiting for over two hours, without explanation as to why the delay. I also found the gas filling nozzle on the gas flow system had been fitted inside the vehicle.

When we did take possession of our vehicle and our way home the engine developed a fault. We also found the roof needed work so under warranty we returned the vehicle the next day.

The company agreed to rectify these faults but it took ten weeks for me to get my vehicle back.
I was constantly on the phone to them time after time even speaking to a manager, who again promised to get it sorted, this did not happen. I put in call after call, getting no help whatsoever from the management.

They appear to have no aftersales policies, the attitude is we have your money goodbye. I would not recommend this company. Please be aware before you buy. Think twice

We were looked after by Shane who was very helpful from start to finish our van was detailed brilliantly hand over by Shane and video excellent we only waiting for a replacement table which has been ordered .when this is done I will write a full review

Have been trying to locate some parts for our motorhome which is a few years old now. Mollie and her team have been really helpful in both identifying the correct parts and getting them to me. Will definitely be returning for all my future parts. Could not have been more helpful.

Can only speak as we find, have just gone through the process of buying a used but new to us motorhome from Alan Kerr. Found the service excellent . Dom was the person in sales who led the trade in of our old van and purchase of the new to us Moho, listened to what we wanted and liaised well, great communication throughout. Ellie was the handover person and Brett as the tech guy no one could be faulted. Highly recommend

Total lack of communication between AK and customer. Ordered Knaus Tourer at NEC October 2022 show for delivery June 2023. Checked in with them in January and February and told everything going to plan. June came and went, July came and went; nothing heard from them. Contacted them in August to be told that Germany was on Summer break and therefore couldn’t give any update. Also asked about payload, sales rep didn’t really have an answer so had to research myself. September contacted them again and told that the van was awaiting shipment. It arrived late September but then waited for 2 months whilst DVLA gave their certification. Finally late November got my first direct contact from AK; they had the van but the price had increased by £7000! Told them I wouldn’t be paying the extra; they went back to Knaus and after 2 weeks was told that they had managed to arrange a price fix guarantee, not sure why this wasn’t done in the first place. AK then sent registration docs to DVLA, and just before Christmas 2023 got a letter from DVLA, me thinks that the van is mine and i can go and collect; not such luck, DVLA had rejected the registration! So sent the rejection letter back to AK who then submitted the documentation back to DVLA. Mid January got another letter from DVLA, again rejecting the registration. By now i had had enough and asked for my deposit to be returned.
I checked my bank statement a week later to find that the deposit had been returned, but got no communication from AK saying they had returned the deposit or apologising for the hassle they created.
I suppose they were happy in that they could now sell the van for nearly £15000 more than they had contracted to sell to me.
Deeply disappointed with how AK failed, apart on one occasion, to communicate with me.

We had an older motor home that required some new fibreglass body parts mollie from parts dept was very helpful and responded quickly to questions can’t thank her enough for an excellent service

Visited the dealership in Paignton today. Met the Sales Manager Jason Waterman. The wife is disabled. Jason was very polite and professional, patient and caring. He took time to explain all our options and was very knowledgeable about our choice of vehicle. Wonderful service. Looking forward to our new adventures. Many thanks to Jason for making the process such an memorable experience. Top man.

Just picked up my new rollerteam tline 590 auto had a long wait from order to delivery but that was down to rollerteam dealt with dan gout sales and dan wills service both extremely helpfull and very pleased with my van on collection nothing to much trouble and a 5 star servive well done and many thanks i would recommend akankerrs if your after a new or used motorhome with fantastic service
