AIA Arvostelua 

AIA Health Insurance is useless!!! My friend John purchased health insurance from AIA in Thailand. After a heart attack they refused to pay for a stent operation which could save his life. It's been over 1 week now and AIA has not authorized payment. He and I have contacted the company a multitude of times without success. They refuse to give a Guarantee of Payment (GOP) which would allow him to have the operation done. It seems like they are waiting for him to either self pay(which he isn't capable of doing) or die (which would relieve them of financial responsibility). A horrible horrible company that doesn't even have a reliable emergency Hotline!!!

Friendly when you get them but inclined to ignore your emails in the hopes that you dissapear and they don't have to pay your claim

Possibly the worst company in the world when it comes to helpful staff. I have been trying to resolve an issue for 4+ months but they don’t respond to emails and refused to provide their complaints procedure. Avoid company. The regulator needs to take a look at their practices.
