AG Jeans Arvostelua 

Using the online ordering system I returned the first pair which did not fit for a store credit to aboid the $10 rerun fee as I planned to order another style but the didn't fit either so they were returned again. Now they refuse to give me my money back and insist in only providing a AG Jeans gift card. I am now out $217.50.
Their return policy is nasty. I would never have ordered from them had I known.

AG jeans were my favourite jeans until I die from AG jeans outlet. Until then I had heard a good experience buying them from the stores. they cancelled my order on me, did not apologize, did not give me a full refund. Visa is helping to recoup the loss but ag outlet customer has been awful.
Given this experience I will not go back to the stores and buy ag. I will search for a new brand. They destroyed years of loyalty in a matter of moments, without even a thought.

Like another reviewer I’ve spent thousands on AG because they are so comfortable. And how do they reward that customer loyalty? They send me the wrong size and when I try to send back for the correct size they say sorry it was final sale.

So they’ve apparently found a unique loophole to trick people - list every size available on sale, then purposely send the wrong size (4 sizes small) because that’s probably all they had in stock.

That way they get rid of the weird sizes that nobody buys, and they can refuse to exchange by calling it “final sale”.

I’m filing a chargeback and they’ve lost me as a customer for life.

Worst denim company I’ve ever dealt with.

Owned a pair of jeans for only a year. I’d probably wear them 4 times a month. I contacted them after I noticed a tear in one seam that was only getting worse.

They refused to assist in any way shape or form. After following up requesting a phone call they simply ignored my emails. Avoid AG jeans at all costs. Terrible customer service and terrible quality denim Shame on this company.

Good jeans but AG sucks. Nothing is ever in stock. They never have any lengths available other for someone who is 6'4. and their customer service does not exist.

I am trying very hard to find another pair of jeans that can be my go-to.

Bought 2 pairs of pants on black Friday sale. The company cancelled one pair with no communication as to why a day later, just saw a partial refund come through. A few weeks went by and I contacted CS a couple times and it seemed like a bot responded with a canned reply saying no status on the order was available and an escalation would occur. I never received the pair that was not cancelled not any communication, so had to dispute the charge with my credit card provider. That action got AG Jeans to cancel the order. If they don’t spend some money to get competent customer service they will continue to lose customers like me who won’t come back.

My experience with AG Jeans is very similar to others who've posted on this site. I ordered a pair of AG jeans from their website - that were same waist size as 2 other pairs of their jeans that I have. The ones I received were too small. I attempted to contact their customer service department and never received a response. I think this behavior is intentional. Given how expensive this purchase was, I'll never buy another pair of AG jeans.

terrible customer service - disappointing experience

I've spent thousands of dollars on this brand both on and offline over the years. Took advantage of the Black Friday Online sale this year via my mobile phone. Accidently ordered the wrong size (28 waist vs 36) which I realized when I received my order. Contacted customer service. It's never a good sign when their response is their terms and conditions page, lol. I wasn't even looking for a refund, just a return for store credit. Never got a response back. This company is headed towards bankruptcy with their absurd treatment of good customers. Currently looking for my next brand of $200+ jeans.

This is my letter I sent to them 3 times so far, with NO RESPONSE:

What is wrong with your website?
It shouldn’t take my money if the item is not available!!!
It should say out of stock!!

This has been a frustrating two weeks
With me trying to order jeans, saying that they were available.. then a week later telling me they are not available..
But still you took my money! This happened 2 different times !!
You really need to fix your website if things are not available we shouldn’t have to pay for them and wait for them and then be told many many days later!!

Completely frustrated and disappointed in AG!!!

I bought a slouchy style but after only a couple of hours wear, it stretched around 2 sizes, the knees became bulging and the fit now looks awful and frumpy. After a wash (cold as stated in the label!) the raw hem completely dissolved as if I had cut the jeans myself!

Customer service doesn’t care one bit, so money wasted on unwearable jeans.

Also noting that I originally ordered two different sizes to compare and when I sent back one, the charges were £30! Nowhere on the UK site does it say that they ship from the US and how high return fees are. Avoid at all costs. I wish I had read reviews on here before buying but trusted the brand name as I bought AG jeans from other retailers before.

DO NOT BUY! WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EXPERIENCE EVER. Never received my order and they refuse to refund me or replace the product. This company is deplorable for how they treat their customers. Nothing worse than corporate greed off the backs of customers. I'll never make the mistake of buying from AG Jeans again.

Would give no stars if I could. Bought a pair against my better judgement. I wore them once, washed and then wore again. Within one hour of getting dressed I sat in a chair and they split from the top of the pocket to under the butt. A 7” rip in brand new jeans. Ridiculous, but specially when you consider the cost. I contacted customer service but since I purchased in Canada I’m pretty much SOL. I will be taking them back to the point of purchase but the retailer should not have the hassle of dealing with such an inferior product.

I have purchased many other brands of jeans in this price range with zero issues. Stay away! You would do much better with cheap pair of old navy jeans.

Terrible customer service! Love the jeans but they refuse to speak on the phone when there is an issue. They also continue to send the same message referring to the return policy when they did not address what the issue was in the first place. They do not seem to care.

I’ve had a few pairs of the colored jeans and while they fit great, the quality is terrible. In two pairs, holes formed where the pockets attach on the butt. If it’s not within 8 months, too bad. I’ve never had any piece of clothing wear out like this. Will never spend money on them again. Plenty of other options and they will be gone soon enough with their horrible policies.

I bought a pair of ex boyfriend jeans in the new "360 circular" denim. Upon arrival the jeans fit perfectly and the denim felt great. But they quickly stretched out a lot in the hips and thighs after just a couple of wears. I contacted AG: their policy is that they won't consider any jeans that have been worn for any claims of any performance issues or defects. I have had many pairs of AG jeans over the years and never had any issues, until now. And now I know how really risky it is to buy from them. You get much better customer service just buying on eBay!

Terrible customer service. Received a pair of pants that stretched at least 2x size and on contacting customer service they referred me to their return policy (once one can’t return). So much for a $250 pair of sweatpants that fit like old navy.
Initially left a positive review, then updated it based on fit, and the positive review remains. They did not post the updated review on the site.
Unfortunate given I own several pairs. Will not be purchasing AG again.

This used to be my favorite brand… what happened to this company?? In particular, what happened to the super skinny legging jeans… they were thin, lightweight, hugged your body in all the right places- they just melted onto you… then they went and changed the material to a thicker, coarser material that doesn’t stretch as well and doesn’t come close to hugging your body… they are tight in all the wrong places… just a huge disappointment.

Just can’t figure out why so many companies have to go and change items that are so great. Why not keep staple items and materials available. I’d buy a 100 pairs of the old style if they were still available.

Poor customer service. They do not honour sales for Canadian customers or any international buyers. Their customer service phone number does not work if you are calling outside of the USA. Therefore you cannot contact them in anyway, their email responses are BOT reply’s and they offer no meaningful assistance whatsoever. This company is an absolute disgrace.
