Claim settled quickly and efficiently
We had to cancel our holiday after a medical issue prevented one of us from flying. Our claim was settled quickly and simply after a phone call with a very helpful and well-informed member of staff. I would, and indeed have, recommended ABTA insurance to friends and family.

Ease of access by telephone and nice salesperson. Bit slow though in sending out a postal copy of my single trip travel insurance. I go on holiday in a few days and not received it yet. You should be sending it out by 1st class post

The price we paid for ABTA Travel…
The price we paid for ABTA Travel Insurance was very fair and provided good cover, but the main reason for this review is to highlight the excellent customer service. I noticed that there had been a slight spelling error with one of the names on the policy document and was worried that it might invalidate the policy. I phoned up ABTA Travel Insurance and spoke to a lovely gentleman called Sthembiso who sorted everything out with the minimum of fuss and with good humour.

You need Google or Microsoft Authenticator Just to Get Your Documents
As with all insurance of any type, I am usually sent the documents via e-mail or I log onto my account and am able to download them.
I was informed that I needed an authenticator to be able to do this (Google or Microsoft was suggested) I downloaded both and the link when scanned worked but did not match the code sent and after 2 hours of trying, I gave up.
After ringing Customer Services they said they would request a copy of my documents sent to my by e-mail, which they did within 48 hours but I would suggest most people do this type of thing from their mobiles ( as I only have a work PC with very high security).
Please make it easier for customers. Thanks
