Abes of Maine Arvostelua 

I ordered a basic Sony camera. I got a call a couple days later and was told they would expedite my shipping HOWEVER the model I ordered was a import and asked if I wanted to buy a warranty (was told imports had none), then they asked if I want to buy the charger and a battery (imports had none) then they asked if I wanted a case and tripod etc etc etc. I said NO just send me the camera. Next thing I knew my order had been cancelled. They didn't send me an email telling me they were cancelling. I checked the status of my order to find it out. No way people are giving this place a good review. It is definitely a bait and switch operation.

I’ve purchased three cameras from Abe’s of Maine, and I’m very happy with my experience. The quality has been amazing—much better than the cameras I previously purchased in Europe. What I appreciate most is the customer service. Jennifer helped me with my latest purchase, and everything was quick, clear, and pleasant. I’ll definitely be back for my next camera!

I have worked as a photographer since the mid seventies. This is my first purchase from Abe’s of Maine. I purchased the International Canon 85mm f1.2 lens for a little less than I could purchase at other online retailers. As reported in other reviews I was contacted by a sales representative that offered me the USA version of the lens equal to the best price I could find online plus a three year extended warranty and because they do not reach the sales threshold in my state I would not pay taxes. I was a happy old photographer when I received my package and everything that was promised was delivered. I will purchase from them in the future in hopes to getting an upsell call.

This was another truly incredible experience. This was my second purchase with Abe's, and I would recommend them to anyone.
