Good service friendly and reasonable pricing did a great job cleaning

The crew deserves an A+ for punctuality and service. They arrived on time, were courteous, and worked efficiently. Unfortunately, the pricing was so excessive that it completely overshadowed the positive experience with the crew.

I was charged over $740 to remove a queen mattress and box spring, a small amount of trash, and a few pieces of broken glass from a picture. That is an absolutely outrageous price for such a small amount of material.

My brother had only a one-bedroom apartment, and there was very little to remove. If I had been told beforehand that the cost would be over $740, I would never have agreed to the service. I feel the price was completely disproportionate to the amount of work and materials involved.

The crew was excellent, but the cost was unacceptable. I would not recommend this company, and I would strongly advise anyone considering their service to get a clear, written price upfront before agreeing to anything.

I called earlier in the morning and set up an appointment for a quote. They arrived on time, I agreed with the quote and they removed our junk right away. The guys were great, polite and efficient.

All 3 gentleman that showed up to my house introduced themselves and shook my hand! They put boot covers on without even needing to be asked! We went into the basement looked at the large cases I was looking to have removed. The one gentleman explained how their business model worked with the space in the back equals the pay rate. How they broke down my large cases as equaling to the space in their trucks made me feel like I was paying a fair price for the service. The 3 gentleman that came to my home and work with me were very friendly and easy to talk to and work with!

When I called to hire 1-800-Got-Junk, it was mainly because they donate, and recycle what they can before sending anything to the land fill. I told them that I had a piano that we could not give away or sell and hoped that they would find a home for it, or at least try. At that time, I was not told that there was an additional charge of $400 for a piano. In total, we had them take the piano, a 15"x 15"x 24"h safe, a small outdoor patio table with glass top, a couple of ladders and a few odds and ends from a blue recycle bin.
We were charged $931 for those few items. On top of that, when the two gentlemen were loading the piano onto their truck, they dropped it and damaged it beyond repair. Now, perhaps the piano would have ended up in the landfill anyways, but I had hoped that it would find a new home. What really bothered me was the fact they charged a $400 additional fee for the piano that I was not told up front. I had a piano mover remove it from the basement prior to 1-800-Got -Junk and if I had known about the surcharge, I would have asked the piano moving company to just take it. Because they would have taken it immediately to the land fill, I thought having the possibility of donating it was the better option. This was an estate sale and the remaining items that 1-800-Got-Junk removed, had to be removed on that day, otherwise I would have told them no. Very disappointed in the outcome of their service

Very easy process from start to finish! Workers were professional, fast and efficient!

I called them and I was quoted $69 base rate for them to come pick up a mattress. However, when the two nice gentleman came to my house, they quoted me $158 base rate PLUS an additional $40 and some fees so I was charged $216 TOTAL. Which is a lot more than $69.00. If they didn't have the bed already loaded up I would have just said never mind. I don't have $147. To be misquoted so I should have just said never mind. 👎👎👎 The guys were great tho!!

Preston and Tori made this experience so easy. It was my first time using 1-800-Got-Junk, so I wasn’t completely sure what to expect. I booked a same-day timeslot online, promptly received a call about having 1 job before mine and received another call when they were headed my way. Both gentlemen were extremely friendly, professional and hardworking. They even swept my garage when done! 1-800-Got-Junk is a wonderful service, and they are definitely lucky to have such great workers like Preston and Tori. Side note- yes, it can be too pricy for some people, but the detailed quote is free with no obligation.

Your guys were great. My time frame was supposed to be between 1 and 3 pm. They called me in the morning to tell me to expect them towards the end of that time. They called again when they were about 20 minutes out, and then arrived at 2:25 PM. I showed them the two piles of brush that I wanted removed, and they said that would be a full truckload. They then showed me your price schedule. A full truckload was $958. The two of them agreed that the job would take 3 - 4 hours and that you charge $150 per hour for labor, but that the first hour was free, and you don't "round up" the hours, so that a partial hour would not be charged. They then began loading. When they were finished, they came to my door, and I paid them (I included a tip, because they did a very good job). However, they were finished at 3:50 PM, 1 hour and 20 minutes after they arrived. I was still charged for 2 extra hours labor. When I left my first review (an 8) I asked that you contact me about the extra labor charge. You indicated that you would contact me as soon as possible. That was Thursday. Today is Monday, and I haven't heard from you. Since the first hour is free, and you don't charge for partial hours, I should not be charged for two "extra" hours labor. It's now been three weeks, and I still haven't heard anything. At this point, I doubt that I will. Guess who I will not call the next time I need something removed.

They were excellent (Cameron and Jason). It took them 45 minutes to complete the removal of large furniture (dresser, mirror, pier wall w/mirrors) without scratching my parquet floors

Scheduling was easy, the team that came were great at communicating everything, and went above and beyond to help clear out what we needed to go. I 100% recommend and will use again
